Always looking for a good Mexican restaurant and this one is a hidden gem. Fresh food with authentic flavor and great service. More fun, is karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Will definitely be back.

I found this place at random one day, and I am so happy it is down the road from me. Great food, great food selection, AWESOME drink specials (margaritas especially), weekend brunch special is amazing and the owners are so nice. It is by far the best mexican restaurant in Madison, and also the best place to get a good burger (American/Mexican menu). I only worry that the location is going to hurt this place. I wish it was closer to a main drag so more people would give it the attention it deserves. Go eat here! Now! Like, get in your car and go here now.

Stopped in on the way home to grab a bite. Very nice ambiance inside. Soft lighting and friendly, fast service. I ordered the Tacos Authenticos, one chicken and one steak. Both tacos were freshly prepared and full of cilantro. A big slice of avocado arrived on the plate as well! It was also happy hour, which meant two for one beer. Overall, a great meal and a new stop on my way home.

This is a new place - replacing the previous Richards Cafe. My wife and I are always on the lookout for new Mexican restaurants in the Madison/Rivergate/Goodlettsville area. After driving by and seeing the banner "Bienvenido al Alamo Grill" hanging over the entrance, my wife and I dropped in today to give them a try. Boy are we glad we did! A very pleasant young woman escorted us to our table and presented us with our menu, asked us for our drinks selection and returned promptly with our drinks. Then took our food order. My wife had a Cheese and onion quesadilla with rice and beans while I decided to try out their fajitas Vegetariana. The salsa and chips were excellent while we waited for our meals. The background music was a bit loud so I looked up and around and started counting the # of Bose speakers I could see and pointed them out. Our server, thinking we were gesturing for her promptly came over and asked if we needed anything. We told her that we were counting the speakers and she asked if the music was too loud for us. I replied that it was a bit loud. Within two minutes the manager was in the utility closet turning down the volume. Again we were impressed with the expedient service. Shortly afterwards our meals came out, deliciously cooked to perfection. I have had a LOT of vegetarian fajitas over the years - many too oily, some with big chunks of veggies and many not flavored correctly. Not the case here. This was perfect, and to top it off, our server/hostess was frequently checking on us for drink refills and anything else to make our experience more pleasant. All in all, a great start for a first time trying out a new place. We will return!

I was greeted by one of the co-owners and made to feel like they were just waiting for me to come into the restaurant. The server was knowledgeable about the menu. Then the food came, these people know how to do Mexican food, and the decor was amazing. So it was an all over great experience. Thanks to Guy and his business partner! Will definitely go back and spread the word!

This hidden gem is the best Mexican food in the area. We had the enchiladas supremas and the tamales plate and both of our meals were incredible. The food tastes fresh and authentic. The chips and salsa while you wait tasted fresh and not processed. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We will absolutely be going back.
