I love it. The atmosphere is cool and they have your order waiting or you can walk in and get fast service. I can eat here 3 times a week easy. Great deal for a low price.

This is a carry out environment, not that great for dining in. The food is good, ask for prices. Yep, it's in an urban environment so the local vagabonds may ask for money...keep it moving. The tea is DELICIOUS, so buy two for you and one for her. Make sure you call ahead because if you think the food will be done in 10 min, like you're told, you're crazy! Add an extra 10-15 on that call in and you should be ok........ I digress. Have fun, eat food, repeat.

The atmosphere was hostile. I went with my wife and young daughter. Ordered at the counter then sat at one of the tables inside awaiting our food. We attempted to order ice water during our wait twice. The first time I was yelled at. The second presented with a lukewarm cup of what smelled like dishwasher. By the time we got the food we had hoped to sit and eat, we felt so unwelcome we just left. We were quiet polite and gracious. I can't say the same for the staff. The food was good. I won't return.

Good traditional American Chinese food. Of course as most good unhealthy food it is in the 'ghetto' on Magnolia. This simply means you might want to lock your doors when you get your carryout or have a good denial rap ready for the homeless beggars that might solicit you when you stop by. Prices on the board have nothing to do with what they charnged me..

This is pretty great, honestly. It says New York Style on the window and I have no reason to doubt that. You get a lot of deliciousness for your money, although how much money that is seems to change day to day--I've eaten here several times in the same week and it's varied by a buck or so depending on factors I'm not aware of. But they do randomly sometimes give you a free soda! So it balances out in the long run. You could do so much worse for Chinese food in Knoxville and pay way more.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
