Prices are reasonable, but the food is nothing spectacular. Completely americanized chinese food with skimpy pieces of sushi. Decor was mediocre, but there is a nice patio area in the front. I ordered some appetizers, I don't remember the particular name, but it would technically be equivalent to thai lettuce wraps. It tasted nothing like thai lettuce wraps. This appetizer basically consisted of a chunk of lettuce with a side of overly salty chicken mixed in your typical Kroger brand stir-fry sauce. There isn't much more to say. This appetizer is representative of my entire meal as a whole.

A favorite. I'm a regular there and I have a waitress I Rq. She's awesome and very nice. Her name is Westley. I also recommend the Lo Mein bottomless bowl!

I have been to stir fry many times. Thursday is half price appetizers. First I had the spring roll. They never disappoint. The hot mustard and duck sauce the perfect combination. Next the eddamame w/ sea salt. This place makes it the best. I have had it other places and it is not made as good as this place. Buffalo Wings are so good and and it has a nice kick. I have had the sushi before but i would not recommend it. One star taken off for that. I am adding the bathroom is always clean. Waitress friendly. All 3 appetizers for 8 dollars, super deal.

This place is the best. The flavor of their dishes is out of this world! Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. Spice levels that will bring tears to your eyes. Cool interior and accessible location. A few detractors out there, but no one in town attempts to do what they do... Pud Thai is great! Give it a shot...

Although people will quarrel as to the varying quality of this restaurant over the years, I am still a fan. I love the curry basil noodles, Kan Shaw with shrimp, and Chesapeake Bay style grilled dishes; and the drink specials and general atmosphere. The portions are more than plentiful and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Bon Appetit.

LOVE this place!! Bottomless noodle bowls every day and half price sushi on Wednesday and Saturday, how can you beat that! Food is excellent, staff always very friendly! Fav is the Drunken Noodles! Keep up the awesome job!!

Disgusting!!! I admit I am a picky eater but rarely do I spit out food and throw it all in the trash. The General Tso' s was not the right sauce and the chicken was a mushy weird texture like mystery meat. This gets a 1 star because I had to select something.

Happy hour is just fine. $4 margaritas or select wines. They had specials on appetizers. For as little as $2, we got a chorizo taco. Another $2 special was a California roll. We went on to order steamed dumplings and firecracker shrimp both of which we shared. Regular prices on those is in the $7-$9 range. Service was great. The restaurant supported Eat out for Education so 10% of our bill went to local schools. Overall good experience. I may try the 1/2 price sushi on a Wednesday or Saturday.

I hate a subpar experience... But let's start with what was doable. Pan seared pot stickers - okay Spring rolls - good Now for what wasn't so great: Sushi Endless bowl very bland. We had three if the many options for the endless bowl. Bo Pho which I sent back for Pud Thai which was better but needless to say I didn't eat much of the dish. My Husband had Shanghai Noodles very bland but spicy if that makes sense. Over all bad food great service!!! No stars for food but two stars for a good server.

I had just gotten out of my grandmothers funeral. And I love their patio so I went for a glass of wine. They refused serve me bc my ID was "fake". It was up to date. No tears or bends. They couldn't give me a reason of what was wrong with my ID. They just rudely said the manager doesn't want to serve me without explanation or even coming to the table. Way to put salt in the wound to a loyal customer. I won't be coming back.

It's not often I branch out and try a new place but this has caught my eye so often I finally went. Can't wait to go again already. I especially loved the Thai salad with teriyaki grilled tofu and peanut dressing. I got the small one and it wasn't small. Could easily make a meal from this. Maybe l'll do that next time and get the big one!

Best Tom Kah soup ever. Best (T. Ho) spring rolls ever. Firecracker shrimp rivals bang bang from bonefish. Crab Rangoons actually have crab in them! Always great service.

I really liked this place for a while, but it kinda let me down. I'll be brief: They have great sushi deals*, 1/2 price wine specials, and good thai food. The service is great, and they were decent enough to inform me that the curry dishes all have fish sauce in them. Yes, even the curry tofu dishes. I know you don't care about this detail if you do eat fish, but for any tofu lovers (who frequently happen to be vegetarians) this is very misleading! Who hides fish sauce in a tofu dish?? Let down. *Although the sushi deals are good, the sushi itself is rather lackluster. I recommend trying Nama Sushi instead.

Nice Saturday afternoon stop for a snack of sushi rolls. For 20 minutes we watched one wait staff member wait patio tables around us. After a trip inside we finally were waited on. Rolls were okay but nothing special. Very high filler to main ingredient ratio. Bar staff not very friendly. A definite drive by, don't stop again for us.

Not only are the prices overkill, especially for take out. You are still charged the bottomless price. The service is horrendous and I've been here several times and they always get my order wrong. You're better off going somewhere else for good service and decent prices.

BOTTOMLESS Noodles! Ate the Bo Pho which is technically "PHO BO" but with more fusion in it. Also ate the Thai Basil Curry noodles. Very good. THis place I will be coming back to. It is also very affordable. I enjoyed my visit.

Decent Asian-style food with plenty of tofu options. Taste of Thai is much better but this joint is rarely crowded which I really like. If they could just up their game in terms of fresh ingredients, lots of their veggies seem to have been pre-cut and frozen, and add more flavor then they'd be on par with Taste of Thai. I do like that they have a full bar and made a decent Greyhound. I also like their peanut sauce which is really tasty.

If you are wanting to take advantage of the half price sushi, and don't want to wait an eternity for seating, go Wednesdays, or super early on Saturdays. Sushi is good. Never had any bad rolls. I prefer the non meat dishes, the several times I had the beef or chicken pad thai, the meats had no flavor and it took away from the dish. Tofu is the way to go. My husband and I usually just get their sushi w/ crab rangoon as an appetizer. Their prices are fair. The Raspberry Moonstone sake is to die for. Add the splash of Chambord if you want more deliciousness.

One of my favorite places in West Knoxville. I've only ever had their Thai dishes, so I can only speak to that. Good food, reasonably priced, and live music on weekends. PS: They have another branch out in Farragut, on Parkside drive in the Turkey Creek area.

i worked here for 4 years. I know what to order. They have good drink specials. I always sit at the bar and rarely sit at a table because the service can be very slow. I had a very good sushi roll. It was one of the sushi specials which by the way can be quite inexpensive. The roll included: shrimp, avocado, and spicy tuna. It was good. The lettuce wraps rock, they give you so much more lettuce than P.F. Chang's its a little ridiculous. Their bangkok rolls are not for everyone however I grew to love them. They have a very healthy taste to them, a little like you are eating greens wrapped up. The pot stickers and steamed dumplings are good. The hot wings are really good except I get them to put the hot sauce on the side. Then dip the wings in the hot sauce and then in your choice of either blue cheese or ranch. It tastes better that way, believe me. They also have the option to get vegetarian or pork egg rolls. They are both good. I usually order the vegetarian egg roll. The other appetizers are good as well but the ones above are the ones I order most often. Now to the Salads. The Mandarin Spinach Salad with either chicken or salmon is just as good as the Thai Teriyaki Salad, pretty darn good. Now for the Soups. The Tom Kha (Coconut Soup) contains chicken is really good and so is the Tom Yum (Lemongrass Soup) which contains shrimp. Now for the entrees. These are my favorites: Grilled Vietnamese Steak (get them to spice up the vegetables instead of using the basic brown sauce like doing the szechuan sauce); Grilled Sea Bass; General Tso's Chicken ( it is served with dark meat and I get them to use a white meat instead); Wau Soo Gai ( I usually tell them to add a little heat to it); Spicy Noodles; Bo Pho (Vietnamese Entree Soup, order chili paste on the side to spice it up); Szechuan with whatever meat you like; Green Curry with Tofu (they have the best tofu in town); Szechuan Bean Curd (Bean Curd is the same thing as Tofu); and Homestyle Bean Curd. They have brown rice which is hard to find. Usually the only options you have around town are fried rice and steamed rice. So, those are my favorites to order :) Don't be scared to order it like I am telling you. They will know what you are talking about and will most likely wonder how you knew to order it like that too. Cheers & Enjoy!

This is my favorite Asian restaurant in Knoxville. My wife and I visit here at least once a month. Their bottomless noodle bowls will leave you beyond satisfied! My favorite is the Drunken Noodles. Their sushi is top notch too. Everything is really fresh and the restaurant appears very clean. This is a great place to take a date or even for just a nice business lunch. Inside or outside seating available.

Lemme preface this by saying I'm from California. I was visiting a relative and we decided to go have some sushi. We had intended to go the Sushi joint across the street but it was closed between 2 and 4. She liked the Udon noodles here so we trekked across the street to Stir Fry Cafe. We were seated right away by a very friendly hostess and received our Ice teas in very short order. My cousin ordered, yup, the Udon Noodle and I ordered the Asparagus Maki. Well the food came and I gotta say, when you order a roll in a California sushi restaurant you expect it to be bigger around than a nickel. It was all I could do to keep my jaw from hitting the table top in amazement at the microscopic rolls put before me. At least there were eight pieces and my cousin let me eat all of her Tempura Vegetables otherwise I'd have needed to go the fast food joint so my stomach wouldn't have needed to ask, "Is that it?" What little food I has was good. My cousin LOVED her noodle but since this is MY review I gotta go with 2.5 stars. Apparently they make awesome stir fry. I'd probable stick to that. If you're ever in Cali in the San Luis Obispo area and are needing some sushi, hit me up...and bring your appetite.

Stopped in 5/23 for the first time in a long while. 1/2 price apps on Thursday, the crab cakes were the best I've had in years. The service was spot on and the portions so large there was plenty to take home. The "Hot Sea" is a must. Glad we tried them again.

It used to be a favorite and a once a week place. I have seen it go steadily downhill since the owner was killed. It's nothing like what it used to be, but still worth a try. I find myself passing it by a lot lately, but I haven't taken it off the list.

We went there for some bottomless noodles. we ordered drunken noodles and pad tai noodles for the first round. the flavor and noodles were decent, but the chicken had some sort weird after taste. i did not like it at all and only ate few pieces.. for the second round, i ordered undo noodles.... let's just say, i only had couple bites and the noodles were way over-cooked... it should only deserves one star, but the service was pretty nice, so it adds another one

The absolute worst sushi I've ever had. Fishy, nasty. And the service wasn't much better. We were 2 of only about 10 people in the place and it literally took over an hour to get 3 sushi rolls, which weren't even worth the wait. We would have left but the server (when he decided to come around) kept telling us it was coming. Ran out of drinks and never got asked if we wanted more. Will never go back. No wonder the one in Turkey Creek closed.

Service was always good here and the food is definitely the best Thai in Knoxville. Always got their chicken pad thai and it was very good. One of my favorite places in West Knoxville. I've only ever had their Thai dishes, so I can only speak to that.

Two things, one good and one bad: It's not all you can eat sushi - it's half price. It's a good deal, though, and the sushi is WAY better than a certain downtown establishment that apparently specializes in the area. Yum. The eel roll is wonderful. So, I had the penang curry, and it was not very good at all. The taste was quite bland and way way way too many peppers. I ate some ginger soy sauce with the leftovers, which added to the taste, but not enough. Say all the nice things that you want to say about this place - I will agree with many of them and will still frequent here, for sure - but this cannot be the best Thai in town, even if it was just a bad night. No way. I'll happily stick to the noodles and sushi.

Food is good albeit a little overpriced for the serving size. Spicy Shrimp salad was spicy and good. Served with romaine lettuce, mushrooms, cucumber, red onion and a sesame ginger dressing. The Absolut vodka drink was $4.00 on "special" tonight, but I ordered mine with tonic and lime and it was served in a martini glass. Are you serious? Way to jip us on the alcohol and overall serving. We sat at the front of the restaurant, right underneath a speaker whose music was a little too loud, and made conversation a bit challenging. The tables were sticky.

I have eaten here before and found the food very serviceable; however, my most recent trip makes me wonder if the quality has gone down exponentially or if the chef was simply having a really bad day. (Note that almost all the good reviews are from 2009 or earlier). The pud thai was sweeter than any I've ever had and tasted overwhelmingly of ketchup, which shouldn't be an ingredient. There was none of the sour taste of tamarind pulp or the salty taste of fish sauce. Perhaps they're buying really cheap tamarind paste that's been cut with tomato? The lettuce wrap came with a bowl of shiny brown glob that was very saucy and bore much resemblance in taste and texture to a kung pao chicken (without the peanuts), and I was shocked to see that the primary ingredient was frozen green beans, an ingredient not listed on the menu. The wrap filling also was thickened with corn starch. I've never seen a chicken wrap like this. Maybe people like it; I did not. After two bites, my husband and I decided to pay the check and go elsewhere, which we did. To the restaurant's great credit, the manager, seeing that we were leaving the food untouched, came to inquire. She also comped our bill, although we assured her that we would be happy to pay. The service was good, and the management was great, but either the kitchen needs more quality control, or the restaurant should hire a consultant to taste the food and tweak their recipes. I suspect that they are saving money by cutting the quality of ingredients rather than reformulating the menu.

It has been quite sometime since I have been to this establishment, admittedly. Today I was very disappointed to not be acknowledged at entrance after several moments so I sat myself. A few folks came in after me. They were seated and served. I was not served until after those who came in however while waiting I appreciated the annoyed look by the primary server. Basics of restaurants...acknowledge customers and attend to them or not as I left and will not be back. Not understanding what happened. I tipped my absent server not ordering anything. Upon leaving I was reminded of why I stopped going there as I could not place it when my friend and I agreed to go. Same reason.

My favorite meal: Bangkok roll, Thai ice tea (yummy!), white rice (I'm Japanese American and have to have white rice--it is part of my heritage!), and pad Thai with tofu. I absolutely love their pad Thai--just the right amount of noodles, eggs, peanuts, fried tofu, lime, and sauce (and I always have enough to take home for lunch the next day). To me, this is the perfect meal---I never order anything else!!!

I made the mistake of thinking this would be a good place to get sushi. It isn't. Despite it being "half-off sushi" Wednesday (damn, I am such a sucker), their sushi was about half as good as I wanted it to be. Their selection of anything except tuna/salmon/shrimp rolls is pretty limited. Come on, I can get most of what is on this menu at Kroger. But I will give them credit, they did have one really nice roll, a Zydeco. Made with crawdad and cajun sausage. Really nice smokey flavor, it was a pleasant surprise. The rest of what I ate was average and below average. This isn't a sushi restraunt. My bad. I also got an order of Mongolian beef to go. It was average. Nothing to call home about. The service was pretty good. My waitress didn't eat sushi, so she was no help there, but she was nice. I bet I will like their stir fry and curry much more than I did their sushi. If I return, I will re-yelp.

My favorite place to eat in town. The wednesday/Saturday half price sushi is excellent. Go at least once a week.

Great ambience, excellent vegetarian selection and really good Thai curries! Ironically, their Chinese stir-frys could improve. The service is relaxed and actually kinda slow, but the food is worth the wait.
