The sandwiches are very good. Had the chicken salad today and it was great. Chili is quite good. Ice cream sandwiches made with two fresh cookies are a delight. The live music is a treat.

Had the Italian today. It is good too. I didn't mention it before but these sandwiches are toasted.

Wow! With a name like Potbelly Sandwich Shop, I was expecting a dive. However, this place is located in a nice open air mall. The staff was super friendly and were eager to make our 1st experience an enjoyable one. My husband got the 6 inch wreck sandwich with a *giant* pickle. I got the Chicken Salad Salad with the Potbelly Vinaigrette and a cup of half potato and half chili soup. Both our meals were excellent, though a bit pricy. However, the portions were large and very flavorful. When we come back through the area, we will be eating at least one meal here. Yum!! Bonus: the restrooms are cleaned every half hour so they are very clean!

Love this sandwich shop! It's low key, no frills, easy to navigate menu, super clean, and a friendly staff. Doesn't get much better than that! I typically get the Italian sub or the chicken salad sandwich, both are awesome and toasted. The fiancé gets the pizza sub which looks amazing too, but it's also massive, definitely a man sandwich. If you're into sweets or smoothies their pineapple coconut banana smoothie is SO good! It tastes like summer and even comes with an umbrella. It's too good to resist!

Tip: bring a sweater if you eat inside because it's chilly inside! I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich on plain bread which comes with hummus, cucumbers, artichokes, and roasted red peppers. The toasted bread is everything. Added extra mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. and I was in food heaven. Live music was fantastic! I can't wait for the downtown location to open soon :)

Had a smattering of choices and loved them all. The chili was good and the Italian sub was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. The place also offers smoothies and shakes, a nice touch. Cookies are the order of the day as well and they even put a small cookie on your straw when you order shakes. Pretty fun place! This place is too chill though, meaning you need to ensure you bring a coat or sweater of you are cold natured.

We are in town visiting , and we wanted to try someplace that we don't have at home. I didn't know what to try, so I asked the guy behind the counter. He was very helpful. (The staff is most friendly.). I decided to get the "A wreck". The name doesn't describe the sub. It is anything but a wreck. The ingredients were top shelf, and the potion size was generous. I also got a big pickle which was the largest pickle I've ever seen. I finished it off with a bag of Zapp's sour cream and creole onions potato chips. Also the restrooms were clean a well maintained. This was a delightful experience.

Looks like I'm in the minority but I wasn't too impressed. I got the chickpea veggie salad and my daughter ordered the Mediterranean sandwich & loaded baked potato soup. Her sandwich was pretty small, but thre are two sizes and she got the smaller size. My salad was ok, it was simple, something I could have made myself at home. I had a bite of the sandwich and it wasn't very flavorful and the soup wasn't too exciting either. Everything tasted very bland to me. It was ok but probably wouldn't come back. It was a bit pricey and next time I will spend my money elsewhere.

Went for lunch today and had a roast beef sandwich and an ice cream sandwich. They were both absolutely delicious!! My new favorite lunch spot, and the prices were great!

Glad they made it to Knoxville. I first discovered them in Chicago. Great sandwich at a great price.

I've ate at numerous Potbelly's...Michigan, Washington DC etc. I'm very glad they are starting to make there way south. The sandwiches are always hot and fresh. The restaurant is also clean. The 2 gentlemen that operate this sandwich shop are nice as they can be. Sometimes the guy singing gets a little carried away and gets to loud, but I'm there for the food.

Great pit stop on the way through Knoxville. Didn't realize it was a franchise until I checked the menu online and it listed a bunch of locations (even ones back home in Denver - oops.) since those usually don't get such great reviews. This one was great - called in an order to pick up. They were friendly and were ready with recommendations when I asked for them. After a quick stop for fuel and a a bit of cleaning we got to the store. My order wasn't quite ready but she gave me my coffee shake to sip on while I waited. The price was probably the best surprise for me - $16 for a salad, sandwich and a shake! I must be eating at the wrong places as I was expecting at least a $25 bill. The food was tasty - and I bet it would be reliably the same if I were to come back too. The coffee shake rocks - comes with a cute little flower cookie on the straw. Salads are huge (could easily be lunch and dinner for me) and their house dressing is wonderful on the farmhouse. We ordered the wreck for the sandwich - kudos to the guy who suggested hot peppers on it. On point!

The food was meh. I wasn't overly impressed. I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy the tomato soup that I ordered (glad I opted for a cup vs. a bowl) and the Italian sandwich was just so-so. Not to say that I wouldn't eat here again, but there are other places that cost the same or less that are considerably more tasty. My biggest complaint with the Italian sandwich - I ordered it with everything on it EXCEPT mustard, and I got everything on it WITH mustard. That seriously detracted from the experience. Additionally, for the price, I didn't feel that there was all that much meat and cheese on it.
