Sandwich was ok. I've certainly had better cheesesteaks. Will try something different next time. Fries were fresh and crispy. Very good. Lemonade was awesome. Yeah so go for a sandwich (or maybe just fries). Stay for the lemonade.

I hadn't been to one of these in over a decade, people always telling me they're too expensive, but I decided to give it a go. I had the 8" pizza sub and medium fries with no drink and my tab was right at ten bucks, a little high but would say for the quality and quantity, worth it. The sub was loaded with cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and mushrooms, grilled to order. Ton of fries, these are like the ones you get at Five Guys. I'll go back to this place, would say it's one of the best sub shops out there. Sub came out hot and quick too!

Had a Philly Steak here, and it wasn't bad. They made a vial ant effort to make a good sandwich, though with that name (I'm a Philly native), you are setting a high standard. Alas, I don't expect to eat (and am yet to have had) a real Philly cheesesteak anywhere but Philadelphia. Restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would eat here agin.

I'm giving them five stars. The dude taking the orders had impressive customer service. The food was really good as well. Clean store, etc. I do recommend leaving the condiments off of the hot items if you're getting it to go. Just bring them with you otherwise you will get back to your office with glop ;)

When you sign up for the Penn Station East Coast Sub's email group, you get a coupon for a free sub. I decided to try it out for a spin. I ordered the Reuben, my all time favorite sandwich. When I pulled back the wrapper of the six inch sub, I saw a poorly crafted sandwich. The ratios were off: there was a handful of sauerkraut and very little Thousand Island dressing (we all know the dressings makes the sandwich.) Not to mention the corned beef was flavorless. Arbys makes a better Reuben! At least it was free. No complaints there.

The "Philly Cheese Steak" was not good at all. They use a flavored bread which might otherwise be good but did not work well with what should be a classic. I'm no expert, but I did grow up and live in Philadelphia for 20+ years and Penn Station's cheese steak is a poor imitation. I arrived during dinner time and the restaurant was empty. Staff was friendly.
