If you like panera, this is as good as any. Eaten here lots.

Food and service good. They kept after the tables - wiped them down. Only complaint is the way the place is set up - half the tables are such that people have to traverse the main line to pick up food. Caused the middle to clog up.

My study buddy bought a tomato soup and salad and I tried the soup. I never had tomato soup before. It tasted like tomato sauce. I feel like there should be a difference in soup and sauce though..I was expecting it to be similar to corn chowder or something similar where it doesn't taste like a dipping sauce.

Quite possibly the most overpriced, yet poor quality lunch I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Let's start with the clam chowder; no flavor and no chance a cup is worth nearly $4.00. On to the sandwiches! Tuna salad was dry, bread was tasteless and the tomatoes were a very weak and uninspired pink. The turkey avocado BLT was easily the worst restaurant sandwich I've ever tried to eat. A glob of mayo stuck in the middle of a dry piece of sourdough. C'mon! For almost $9.00, spread the condiment! Turkey was dry, avocado was not ripe and the bacon may as well been not on the sandwich. Overall, a poor effort. There will not be another chance to get my money. I'm leaving this place to the laptop toting, coffee sipping, hipsters.

Went there for a dinner meeting with clients. The internet stopped working right in the middle of our meeting - so we just sat there eating as quickly as possible to get to a place that had internet! The food was OK, but not worth $40 for three people. Could have gone to Applebees and had a better internet connection with the same priced food.

This Panera location is pretty consistent with the others that I have experienced over the years: good food, good coffee and green tea, good atmosphere. This one does seem to be much busier than I am used to seeing, especially on lunch. While this is good for Panera, seeing two to three folks at the cash register while you wait in line for 15 minutes and then another 10 or 15 minutes to receive your food (very fresh, I might add) can be a little concerning, especially if you have a one-hour lunch break. Nonetheless, a good location that I would return to yet advisable to get there before 10:30 or 11:00 AM if going on the lunch hour.

WAY speedier service than most Panera restaurants. It's a great lunchtime atmosphere, and I am COMPLETELY addicted to their Smokehouse Turkey Panini. YUM YUM!

I've been to several Panera Breads and they are NOT all the same. The food is the same with great food, but I'm only giving it a 3 because the service / friendliness is not the best. I've been to others, as seen on my reviews, which are really friendly, call you by your name when they scan your rewards cards, etc. The atmosphere of the staff can make or break the customer's experience. I'm not too impressed with the staff at this location from the times I've been there. I tend to pass this one even though it's closer to home and head to another closer to work for my coffee or dinner. Sorry, the staff need to be more engaged, smiling and friendlier.

Consistently good like all Panera! I thoroughly enjoyed my greek salad and chicken noodle soup...yum! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff too!

We stayed the night in Knoxville while driving back home for the holidays and had a craving for Panera on the way out of town. We stopped into this location and wow, what a huge Panera. The service and food was good, just what you expect from Panera. But this location is the biggest one I have ever been to. I had to take a picture of it. Yes, I am that nerdy.

I don't really get this place. I have to pick up my food at the counter and bus my table.. My sandwich (chicken panini) was marginal: tasted okay, but was nothing special and was lukewarm at best (completely cold by the time I got to the second half). How is this place much better than a McDonalds? So many better choices in Knoxville.

When we are travelling on the 40 West, my husband knows I love to stop here since we are not looking to sit down and dine somewhere. The breakfast items are good enough, the pastries (fruit tart, crispy cinnamon scone and more) are terrific and the coffee is better than many bread/pastry shops. Sorry, but someone mentioned McDonald's and when travelling we have been there as well (my husband likes McDonald's), but there isn't anything for someone who doesn't just want eggs, sausage and pancakes (other than the oatmeal) so I find the variety here to be much better.

Generally pretty good, but however have had them screw up take out orders several times now. Lesson learned? Check your order before you walk out the door.
