Family owned and they are so nice! Food is wonderful especially the hibachi grill! Very small and cozy place to eat.

This place deserves a strong shoutout right off the bat for braving the perils of Winter Storm Pax. I tried placing takeout orders with two Asian places prior to calling Lotus Garden, and neither of them even bothered to come into work. Lotus Garden, though, not only stayed open but a sent a poor, freezing lad to deliver. I was more than happy to pay the delivery fee to avoid venturing out into the snowstorm, and the guy definitely earned his tip money. This place was on the verge of 4-star yumminess...everything I tried had something right with it, but some degree of imperfection as well. The wonton soup was amazingly served really hot in spite of its journey through Siberia, but the flavor was a bit lacking. The Thai-style fried rice didn't share the problem: the flavors were great, and most of the ingredients seemed really fresh. What dragged this dish down, though, was that it was dry as the state of Nevada. As such, what had a lot of potential to make for a great dinner left me a bit underwhelmed. The crab rangoons were tasty, although I could have used a bit more crab. Given the flavor profile of that fried rice, I wonder if I just got an off-batch, because it seems like a lot of potential was here. Until I get a chance to try it again, though, I can only speculate.

Dissapointing overall. Pros: it was cheap and the spring roll was good. Cons: the chicken coconut soup was orange and tasted only of limes. The egg roll tasted like it had been fried in the same oil as a desert. The Kung pao chicken was not spicy and also had a sweet taste to it. Will not go back.

I was in a rush and decided to get takeout from this place. Took me forever to order because they have Chinese, Sushi, and Thai food. That being said I enjoyed me order of Szechuan beef. It came with carrots, peppers, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms, and they weren't stingy with the beef. Me likes me likes.

Nice people, good food, perfect for a guy in town for business looking for a quiet place to eat and work. Really enjoyed their Sesame Chicken. Affordable, nice set-up on the inside, a solid dining out experience.

Not really understanding Chinese and Thai under one roof. It seems to me that when there is not a specific focus, something is sacrificed. The atmosphere is nice and neat and located in a strip mall. Service is friendly and fast. The food is just ok. Nothing memorable about it, but it's not mediorce either.

Everyone is always SO friendly here, and for me personally, that goes a long way. The fried rice is great, as is the lo mein. Some other dishes I've had I felt were too sweet, but I think that can happen at almost any Chinese restaurant. I have not tried any of their Thai or Japanese dishes. The prices might seem a little high at first, but you do get a lot of food for what you order, and like I said, it's good quality for takeout in Knoxville. I've never eaten in, but I always see lots of people in there, and the dining room is pretty and looks clean.

I am a picky eater. I love Lotus Garden, they always know me when I walk in and they remember what I order. My fiance and I used to go there a few times a month, now I go much less frequently, but they still remember. I usually order Orange or Lemon chicken with white rice, egg drop soup, and the crab rangoon. I am particularly impressed with their soup. Some of the other places I've had egg drop soup serve a very thick, very yellow, very artificial seeming soup. Lotus Garden's egg drop soup is the perfect consistency, doesn't have all the artificial color, and tastes very fresh. The prices are great and I love the atmosphere. Very nice staff, very attentive. If somebody wants Chinese I always recommend Lotus Garden.

This good was not very good. It came out fast and was barley room temp. Nothing tasted great barley good. Don't know why there are 5 star review I drove 30 minutes to come here and was pissed I did.

Lotus Garden is a local Asian restaurant with a focus on Chinese and Thai dishes. Their staples, such as sesame chicken, lo mein, fried rice, pad thai, and egg rolls, are among the best you'll find in Knoxville. It's a small store-front restaurant, but the staff is friendly and professional, and the place is always clean and well maintained. They provide quick and consistent carry-out service. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the portions are generous and I'm always happy to pay a little extra to support a local small business.

We stopped here because the place down the row didn't have much variety for my kids. The folks here were very nice. There was some variety. We found the egg rolls fantastic. The rest of the food was bland. They told us they have apple juice and brought fruit punch. Sooo... Not much food knowledge here I guess. There were signs about being one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the US, but um...

Friendly staff, great food and a nice comfortable atmosphere make this a great place to eat. It's a small family owned Chinese restaurant with delicious food and a very friendly and social staff. They even remembered what my wife and I get when we come in no matter if we stop in two times in one week or once a month.

Delicious food! The best Kung Pao chicken I've ever eaten. I drive 20 minutes just to come eat here, as the food is always top notch. Good service and very reasonably priced (the Dinner Specials are very affordable and lots of food). It's not difficult to see why they've been voted one of the Top 100 Chinese restaurants nationwide.
