This place was amazing! Just passing through as we move across country. The parking lot was big enough for our moving truck so we decided to eat here and it was fantastic. The staff was great, the food fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant as we sat outside to eat. If we were locals, this would be our go to Mexican place.

This is really a 3.5, because "Yay! I'm a fan" of those margaritas!!! I like mine simple with no salt and on the rocks. Burro Flojo delivered in every way with that one. The menu is pretty standard for Mexican restaurants. The list of combos has 35 options and there are two pages of other dishes. I'd never heard of tostaguac and that was pretty good. It was a fried, flour tortilla base with lettuce, guacamole, tomato and meat on top. That came in my #20 combo with a taco, burrito, rice, and beans. Needless to say, I left pretty full. This place is in the corner of the shopping center with TJ Maxx and Ross next to Repeat Boutique. It's kind of hidden and there are 2 big Mexican restaurants within half a mile. Give this place a try to make it part of your Mexican restaurant rotation.

I found La Casa del Burro Flojo today while looking for dinner. There were very few patrons, but the food was fantastic. I love salsa, and while theirs is good, it was a little too chunky and mild for my tastes so I ordered the hot salsa. I had the shrimp enchiladas, which came with a cheese sauce and the default rice and beans. I ordered red sauce on the side as well (I am very picky about red sauce), and ended up slathering the whole mix together with hot salsa and chowing down. It was amazing. The shrimp dip was very good, but less spicy than I expected, and the combo fajitas were just as good as the enchiladas. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I think you get fast service for a reason. I'm pretty sure the chili relleno was made earlier in the day. My wife also felt the same way about her enchilada. The chips and salsa and taco were tasty at least.

I fall in love with this place. The service is very quick (you can have your plate in less than 15 minutes) and the serving size is big big big and the restaurant is very clean. The quality of the food is very good and I did not feel fat after eating that enchiladas. I'm Mexican and I can tell you this is a very nice plate to try real mexican food.

This place is fantastic. The chile relleno is great, and their guacamole is to die for. Their burritos are huge! Definitely going back, repeatedly.

We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon and the food was good but not really hot enough. Moderately price our tab with drinks was just over $20. Full bar and extensive menu.

I was here on a Monday night right before closing, and the vibe was welcoming and friendly, the service was fast, and the food was plentiful and piping hot, although I did have to salt most everything - and I am not one to salt much. They have a dollar off all mixed drinks on Mondays, and I had the $6.99 combo #1 burrito, chili releno, rice and beans, so the price is right. Watch just about any sporting event you want on the many tv's. I will return!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
