We stopped at this place on our way to the Smoky Mountains. We had different rolls with an assortment of nigiri. I really liked the Super Crunch Roll. Both the food and the service were excellent. We liked Jai Dee so much that we stopped by again for dinner on our way back from spring break

Great sushi and HUGE PORTIONS! Had the seaweed salad a bowl of miso soup and the sashimi plate. The amount of sushi that I received when I ordered the Sashimi plate ($18.xx) was amazing!

Some of the best Thai food in Knoxville! And Mr. Sam always makes the freshest sushi, too! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants for both the food and the service. Plus they deliver! So when I'm at work, pullin a 12 hour shift, and crave some Thai food, I can get it. And it gets there fast, too. Not to mention when I'm craving something spicy, I'm never disappointed from Jai Dee.

Great Tofu Pad Thai! The best in Knoxville! Their heat scale is serious. 1-5 and I wouldn't ever go beyond 4 if you love heat... I can't even imagine what the 5 would be like! Very convenient to campus, just below the library, it's only a short walk from studying. They have very fast delivery to the campus/downtown area.

Great food, lacking on atmosphere. This is an excellent alternative/option for lunch or take out. The prices are more than reasonable and it tastes quite good. I can personally vouch for the soups, sushi, and several apps. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I visited Jai Dee Thai restaurant based on the great reviews and was sorely disappointed. We went there on a Thursday afternoon when school was not in session and were the only customers there. The waitress was fabulous; unfortunately, the food was not. The crab rangoons were small and soggy so obviously the oil wasn't hot enough. The spring rolls were deep fried and were tasteless. The seaweed salad was fine. The tofu Pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. It was basically just noodles with hot sauce and a few peanuts on top. The salmon and avocado hand roll was good, so maybe sushi is the way to go. I will not eat here again.

I chose this restaurant based on it's good reviews. I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I ordered the drunken noodle, and my server wisely suggested I get a level 2 instead of a level 3, as they use authentic Thai spices. The flavor was delicious. The portion was huge, and I brought nearly half of it home. I'm excited for my lunch tomorrow! The dining room was casual, and larger than I expected from the outside. My very kind server also brought me a fresh orange cut up from the sushi chef. Excellent meal, and I will certainly be back!

Incredible food....often passing thorough town, and only to see them and eat their food. So authentic, makes me want to eat there everyday! Don't be afraid to try new dishes either...never disappointed.

The best Thai tea, panang curry, and pad thai noodles in town! It is family owned, so expect great service too!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Knoxville and I've lived here for 18 years. Get the drunken noodle! Their miso soup is also great, and comes with the meal (or ginger salad).

Amazingly good. From the outside looks a bit dumpy but just go. Amazing sushi, soups are incredible...just go and you'll return often!

Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in Knoxville! After spending last summer in Bangkok, I was looking for something close to that but did have high expectations since Knoxville is desperately lacking in the ethnic food arena. I was pleasantly surprised by Jai Dee's wonderful food and their friendly staff. They are the real deal! My favorite is the drunken noodles and always ask if the mango and sticky rice is available - you will not regret it. As an aside, the sushi is also amazing. And to think this gem is hidden right next to UT's campus...

Jai Dee is quick, delicious and reasonably priced. The wonton soup is the best I've had and it goes well with some spring rolls or the green salad as a light and affordable lunch. The Pad Thai is exceptional and I usually order it with chicken. My favorite dish here is the fried rice, which is far from boring. It has some really dynamic flavor and comes with tomatoes, which is a tasty difference from the takeout Chinese fried rice that I'm used to. Great food here.

Amazing service and sushi! There were so many options to choose from. lunch combo C and the crunchy shrimp roll are always my go to choices. The miso soup and the Thai tea are also very very good. 10/10 would go back again and again!

This is my favorite place to eat off campus since I've lived in Knoxville. It's as close to home cooking for me as it gets, unless I'm doing the cooking. I've only had one thing I didn't like, but the menu has something for everyone. The prices are really affordable for what you're getting as well, which are large portions. I highly recommend sushi, steamed dumplings, & pad Thai!

This is by far the best Thai place in town. Everything is great. The Green Curry, Pad Woonsen, and Pineapple Chicken are some of the best. And they actually give you the spice you ask for. At Taste of Thai, I have to ask for at least 13 stars to get what I'm looking for. At Jai Dee, I was breaking a sweat with just a 4 star! And the owners and wait staff are super friendly. If you're down on campus, you gotta stop in. You will not regret it.

This restaurant is owned by Thai family so you can definitely taste authentic Thai food here..hmmm...really yummy!!! Also, sushi is great..I had one a few days ago, and you know what, today I just cannot resist to go for more! The restaurant is in a convenient location with few parking in the front. Atmosphere is very nice and clean :))
