We were invited to attend a Yelp event here and were lucky enough to get to sample several of the menu items which include soups, sandwiches, and homemade ice cream. The sandwiches were all made with very creative ingredients, which you wouldn't think would mesh well, but they absolutely do. One of my favorites from that night was the Apple Butter, Ham and Swiss cheese sandwich. Followed closely by the deviled bacon sandwich. When we went back a couple of days later, I ordered the Hawaiian Sandwich and it was also delicious. The soups were amazing with my favorite being the tomato basil. And while I'm not much of a bean fan, I really enjoyed the tortilla soup as well. All were well seasoned and flavorful. The ice cream was, of course, the best part. I loved the wedding cake and birthday cake flavors. Both tasted just like their respective cakes, only frozen. We will definitely be back and will be bringing our families with us. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event.

Authentic, eclectic, and local - what's not to love? The staff was super friendly, and the pizza grilled cheese was terrific. I was also impressed by the fact they make everything in house. Plus, you can get a 10 lb ice cream sundae with 16 - count them, 16 - scoops of ice cream. Why? Cuz 'Merica, that's why. Love this place and I'll be a regular from here on out.

Unbelievable!!! This place is top notch! I had the "Death by Godiva" ice cream and I savored every bite. Soooo good! And the tuna salad is to die for! Great experience and we will be back for the rest of our days in Knoxville!

I finally came here! I ordered the 5 alarm grilled cheese and it was awesome! So I usually don't order food that I feel like I can make myself but this was not something I could duplicate. Well, I haven't tried yet. The 5 alarm grilled cheese sandwich is spicy! Not overwhelmingly spicy but it has a really nice kick to it. It's not at the sweating level of spicy but I was getting there if I had another order. You have an option of either chips or salad; I went with the salad. I'm not sure how many different types of dressings they have but the cashier offered balsamic vinaigrette and I was cool with that. The salad is small, as shown in my picture, and the sandwich was a nice "snack" size. I probably could have fit another sandwich or a scoop of ice cream. The sandwich comes with a drink - you have the option of iced water, sweetened tea or unsweetened tea. The plastic cups will have ice in them, you'll get this at the cashier, and the logos are random. My friend had a cup related to direct cash! There's multiple seats and even a kids table! We sat at the kids table which had educational table mats - "Sesame Street" teaching colors in Spanish and Dinosaur facts. So what's so great about the 5 alarm? It was far from dry, mild heat, and it's a great portion for normal humans, BUT WAY TOO SALTY. They sprinkled salt and maybe pepper on top? The "kid" sitting across of me ordered a buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich and enjoyed mine more. It was mostly because of the spice level in mine; we are lovers of spicy dishes. Overall, I'll be back to try the ice cream and another grilled cheese!

Seriously, who doesn't love a great grilled cheese? Let me tell you, this place has a whole menu full of 'em! The BBQ Mac & Cheese feels like 3 meals rolled into one. Their choice of using a smoky sweet BBQ sauce adds a delicious balance with the mild combination of cheddar and pepper jack. I also enjoyed their Pizza Grilled Cheese. Of course it's no surprise that the mixture of provolone and Swiss matches perfectly with marinara, but the real star of this sandwich for me is the buttery parmesan bread which had just the right amount of crunch and cheesiness! The prices are very reasonable especially since the sandwiches come with chips or side salad and free tea! If you still have room for ice cream at the end of it all, you won't be disappointed!

Accurate name. Excellent food quality. Tried several different and amazing sandwiches at a private party. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 - it would get pretty expensive for my family of 5. We'll still go back as it will no doubt become a favorite, but unfortunately the price will keep it from being a regular in the rotation.

Friendly people and adorable atmosphere. Red velvet ice cream was my pick and it was absolute perfection and delicious. Not many places to sit because it is a small place. Need to go back and try out their foods. They also sell jams and other fresh confections.

Sometimes you are just want something down to earth and fun. That's what you get at It's All So Yummy. They have a large selection of grilled cheeses ranging from basic to over-the-top monthly specials that will overwhelm your tastebuds (in a good way!). My favorites are the Deviled Egg and Crunchy Nacho. Unfortunately my workplace has moved me a little too far away, but previously it was on my lunch list almost every week! And for your sweet tooth, they have a large selection of homemade Hiltonhead Ice Cream. Be sure to ask for any 'small batch' ice cream that they might have. These are experimental flavors and wonderful to try. Be sure to let them know KnoxFoodie sent you when you're in, they're a great group of folks!

I have read the other reviews, and it seems to me that the negative reviews are related to customer service. I had a similar experience. My wife & I live nearby and decided we would try this place for dessert one night. My wife ordered 'chocolate chip' ice cream. Everywhere in the world when you order 'chocolate chip' ice cream, you get chocolate chips in vanilla ice cream. Well, when my wife was handed chocolate chips in chocolate ice cream (aka, 'chocolate chocolate chip), she politely explained that she wanted the vanilla version. The server (seems to have been the owner) grabbed the cup of ice cream from my wife's hands, threw it in the trash (with emphasis), and lectured my wife that she should have ordered 'vanilla chip'. Two things..... 1) Understand your product. We asked for chocolate chip....same as what you apparently call vanilla chip. You gave us chocolate chocolate chip. If there are regional differences for what the recipe is called, understand them. or walk through the Kroger and see what the ice cream recipes are called. 2) Be nice!!! I was really pissed at how my wife was treated. I should have said something. Next time I will.

Not to be dramatic, but these grilled cheeses honestly make my day. Make. My. Day. I've had a bunch of them - Kim, the owner, chef and all around awesome-sauce diva, is always making them on TV (where I work) - but my all time fave has got to be the deviled egg 'wich. The combo of spicy from the sweet heat seasoning and the deviled eggs ... Ugh, I could literally eat another one right now and I just had that for lunch a few hours ago. The ice cream is also amazing and I highly recommend any and all baked goods or chocolate dipped bacon. Plus they have square, for you apple nerds out there. I think 10 visits gets you a discount? So next time you're out west (or even if you're not but are craving the best grilled cheese of your life) stop by It's All So Yummy and live your life, (wo)man!

I live in NYC, so I've eaten my fair share of sandwiches, but the grilled cheeses here are among the best I've ever tasted. Each one was unique and incredibly good, and now that I'm back home I think of them fondly. I try to avoid cheese most of the time, but these were amazing enough that they were worth the risk. The service is also exceptional - everyone who works here is incredibly nice, and even though there's sometimes a little wait, it's just because everything is made fresh. Also try the ice cream; the peppermint bark is home-made and it's amazing.

Kim and her girls (and boy) are wicked awesome!!! I mean grilled chicken, pepperjack cheese, bbq sauce, honey mustard, and jalapenos all wrapped up in a tortilla... YUM!!! I also try to eat healthy and do a turkey reuben from time to time. It's not on the menu but they are always so nice to cook it for me! They are all so sweet!!! Don't get me started on her brownies. There aren't words to describe their awesomeness!!! One last thing... Blue Moon Ice Cream!!!

Amazing grilled cheese! The sandwich with deviled eggs is my fav! Everyone thinks it sounds bad, but you have to try it! Yum!!

Let's start with the food. The grilled cheese combinations are interesting and pretty tasty. The prices are decent, as the meals come with a tea and small salad. The ice cream is very good. Unfortunately, the customer service chapter must have been removed from the owner's business textbook. After explaining to my girlfriend that we were misinformed on contest rules, she proceeded to patronize us on why. (Because you can't buy two at a time for the grilled cheese challenge, as this would affect the integrity of the challenge with a tee shirt reward.) After receiving an unfavorable Yelp review, she brought out to go boxes, and asked us to leave, and said we didn't have to return. With some courtesy and professionalism added to the food, this could be a pretty good business and place to eat.

Extremely friendly service and outstanding sandwiches and homemade ice cream. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and chopped deviled eggs on it. I'd never seen deviled eggs in a sandwich, but it works like WHOA, at least the way they make it here. If I lived in town, I'd be a regular, and it was clear that a lot of the lunch crowd are there all the time. They helped my co-worker and I decide what to order! This is a great local business and it's nice to see the community supporting it.

Wow, the bitchiest woman I've ever met is the owner. She literally came to my table and belittled me for 10 minutes! Don't go here.. I typically eat here twice a week because I live near by but today will be my last day! This lady needs to get some manners.

Came here today for the first time. I got the Ham & Apple Butter grilled cheese - ham, swiss & apple butter.. wow, it was delicious! One of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was a pretty good size too. Will have to come back to try their ice cream & another yummy sandwich. Definitely stop by!

Great sandwiches at a fair price. The jalapeño deviled eggs are to die for! The ice cream is amazing (as good as you'll find anywhere in Knoxville). Soups are consistently good as well. Great catering too!

If you love comfort food, and feeling like you're eating at a friends house, It's All So Yummy Cafe is the place to go. I was referred by a friend after I told them I love homemade ice cream. I had no idea I would be eating a wonderful lunch at one of Knoxville's favorite locally owned businesses. Not only is the food great, but the friendly service can't be matched. As a HR Manager, and customer service trainer, this is one of my favorite places to go!

They have a variety of creative gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, salads, and ice cream flavors that are all made in house. My grilled cheese had deviled eggs, bacon, and some sweet/spicy mix sprinkled on it. It was quite tasty, even if my brain couldn't wrap itself completely around what it was experiencing. My brother got a Thai one with grilled chicken & a spicy sweet sauce that was also very good. Most everything comes with iced tea & chips or a side salad. They also have combos with soup & their deli sandwiches. We both ended our meals with ice cream. I had "death by Godiva" and my brother had Oreo. We were both quite pleased with this place and surprised we'd never heard of it before. I look forward to returning!

Been there 3 times. 1st time very good. 2nd time showed up 15 minutes before closing, you would have thought it killed them. Tonight the food was good the managers attitude is piss poor. Very unprofessional and I would have gave anything to have her on video. As a business owner I know things can be stressful, but your customers are your business. Without them better close the doors and go home. I will give this place one more try but someone needs an attitude adjustment.

Really good comfort food. I wish I would have gotten a more exotic cheese. Not sure if you can

Really good homemade grilled cheese. They have lots of fun grilled cheese combos with neat toppings. Affordable pricing. If you're up for it- they have an ice cream challenge during football season. It's 16 scoops plus 3 brownies and 3 bananas. I was too full to take it- but sounds awesome.
