Staff is very friendly. The patio area is really nice and its pet friendly as well. I dont drink beer, I was here for a yelp meet up and it was a great gathering place and big enough for all of us to accomadated on the patio. The restrooms were clean. They had a food truck outside as well. Great place to meet up with friends or to make friends.

Great neighborhood bar where the bartenders are friendly and knowledgable, with food trucks every night, good beer selection (& hard ciders for this chick), and fun Monday night trivia! Happy hollers gem

Beer is flatter than hell, no carbonation at all tonight, plus they had a ton of summer beers which aren't my favorite. Only had two beers and they were flavorless, but I'm quite the beer snob too. Was here for Monday night trivia and they had a good crowd. This is not trivia where you have an interactive screen and controller, it was done over PA and the tables had to submit a handwritten answer. It was fun, think you can win prizes, haven't played trivia out in a long, long time.

While I'm not much of a beer fan, Hops and Hollers has a good thing going. The environment is good. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The selection for the thirsty seems nearly endless, and the fact that they have a food truck most days to serve the patrons is a great draw that keeps the menu interesting without having to have a kitchen of their own. The only thing that could make me like this place better is if I had a taste for beer, and I really don't, but I have a great time regardless.

Excellent pub on a sunny day! Awesome beer selection (there's only beer), great patio, and there's always a food truck! Man, I love food trucks. I've actually never sat inside, but it's small with a good bar and tables. Overall, great place. Did I say there's always a food truck?

I love Hops and Hollers. I love the renovation and location of their building. Their beer selection is top notch. And their staff is friendly and helpful. Hops and Hollers is a great place to find yourself after work. It has more of a hangout feel than a bar feel. Come hungry and grab dinner from one of the local food trucks that they have scheduled. They also have a nice, pet-friendly patio.

Hops and Hollers along with Suttree's are my favorite for a wide array of craft beer. Hops and Hollers is a little more laid back environment, and has more comfy space compared to Suttree's. The beer selection here is grand. My last visit I had a thai basil beer and two different pumpkin beers, my boyfriend loved his chocolate milk stout, it was amazing. They have different food trucks everyday and have large TV's to watch a game on. The bartenders were so nice and knowledgeable, so glad to have this in the Happy Hollar! Beat the downtown traffic and come to Hops and Hollers.

Stopped in here after going to the Downtown grill and Brewery for an night cap. Very slow for a Tuesday . The owner I think his name was Charles /Charlie could not care if I were. Sitting here or not . Tended to his seemed to be regulars. In the bar industry everyone is your friend!! ( remember) especially out of town Beer geeks looking to share beer stories. My rating by Owner Attitude only "F" .

I've been coming here since it opened and these guys continually demonstrate the cleanest pours of one of the best draft beer selections in town. I would add a 6th star if they had the French Broad Kolsch on tap all the time. Charles, Dane and Todd are always friendly, accessible and value their customers.

It appeared quaint and neighborly until i interacted with the bartender. I imagine it would have been a pleasant experience, if it weren't for the disrespectful and ungracious attitude of the bartender. I would go back if they changed their staff.

I want to like this place because it's one of the few dog friendly establishments BUT...they won't let you even taste a beer, they make you bring your own glass back and it's kind of like you're just left to fend for yourself in the wilds of beerland. It's a bizarre place...but I'll probably end up back here because choices are limited in K-town, yo!

I love this friendly bar. It has good beer, a nice little patio, food trucks, and plenty of parking. Go there!

It's a fun place to go to if you'd like something a little different than the typical Knoxville experience. The bartenders are friendly, but the patio is somewhat small, and there is a lot of standing you have to do. Not very smoker friendly. On a positive, they usually have a food truck there. A HUGE negative? They don't give you any samples (If you want to try a beer before ordering). Beer selection on par with Casual and BBB. Definitely worth a visit.

New spot in the Holler fits right in. Cool old building. Simple, clean restoration. Nice outdoor area. They have 32 beers on tap, good bottle selection (which CAN be consumed in the premises), growlers (and fill-ups), all at reasonable cost. Rotating draft selection always includes a good selection from TN as well as favorites from around the region. Different local food trucks provide eats each day (ask them for the schedule). Bottom line: cool place, good beer, food truck haven. Welcome to the neighborhood!!

Great selection of Local and regional craft beer. They recently switched to Taphunter App to follow what they currently have on tap. They also sell and fill growlers. You can also buy beer to go in bottles and cans. Monday Night is Trivia with Knox Trivia Guys and they support the local food trucks which provide food. The atmosphere is a good mix of people. They have used almost all reclaimed wood in making tables and benches.

Great small craft beer centric bar on Central Avenue. Very friendly atmosphere and very neighborhood centered. The taps are always rotating with the best selections. Usually has a food truck parked outside and the patio is dog friendly. It's definitely one of my favorite places in Knoxville. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter where they communicate their specials and events.

The beer at Hops and Hollers is great and the selection is good. The location is also wonderful and the building is really cool. I also like that they support the local food truck movement and regularly have food trucks on site. I am giving Hops and Hollers one star because of the owner/bartender. On several occasions he has been rude and obnoxious to customers and community members. As a resident of downtown Knoxville, I thought it would be great to take out of town visitors to the new local bar, and he was specifically rude to them and unwelcoming. I desperately want to support local businesses in Knoxville and think Hops and Hollers has great potential, but the owner needs an attitude change.

I'm not sure what the others problems are with this place. Dane is the only bartender I have met here and he is very nice. He WILL let you have a taste of beers and is knowledgeable of the beers. I'm happy it's none smoking and dog friendly. Also I have met many nice folks here. I've had nothing but great service here so give it a try.

I realllly like it here. The building is really cool looking and I like that everything is spaced out so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of people. The guys that own/work there are very nice and I felt very welcome there. There is a different food truck outside everyday so there is accessibility to snacks. It seems like the perfect place to go hang out when its too hot to be outside (they have a small patio, too). The selection of beer is very good! Always great to have another place in happy holler!

Good beer selections. Food trucks are fun most of the time, and it's a unique way to serve patrons. I second the post about rude service.

Updated. They finally started doing tastes, so you can try a new beer without committing yourself to a pint. It's about time, guys! This is now the best beer place on the North Side. Despite the TVs.
