Been here a couple of times now. Very casual experience. Definitely a family place to eat. You walk in. You are seated promptly. The waitress or waiter usually beats you to the table to get your drink order and... Ok here's the thing: if it's your first time and you ask for a menu you'll probably be disappointed. Tell them your drink order and go to the buffet. Walk past the sushi. Don't even look. It's not going to be anything you'll be back for. Go to the hot food. Another thing to consider: the food is really good on some days and so-so on others. Therefore, I would recommend going for the Americanized Chinese food. Check out the carved meat, the varieties of chicken, the egg rolls, fried rice, french fries and more. Basically those are the things I stick to. Although I will say that the chicken variety is a bit disappointing at times. Anyway if you have a craving for chicken or want a large amount of food with no wait then check it out!

Good food for the low price! It's nice that there is No up charge for the grill or sushi . Kids love it. It's always busy and kinda crowded but service is fast. Nothing fancy but good "fast" Chinese food.

Previously I gave this restaurant a 3/5. However since then I have gone again. I feel like it was so much better this time! The food was hotter, there was more of it. None of the choices on the buffet ever ran out of food, they were very good about replacing it which was a step up from my last visit at Hibachi Grill. I feel like the price is fair considering it is a buffet. The noise level is ok. Hibachi is a big place and at certain times of the day and certain days of the week are a little crowded so the noise level rises a little. They had all of my favorite Chinese food choices and they also had other choices such as Mac N' cheese and meatloaf. They also have a lot of dessert option. Sushi is another option. And if you are a picky eater, that's ok! My brother is a picky eater and he was easily able to find food that he liked and that's hard! Now as for service, it was good. My drink was refilled often so I never had to ask for a refill. They also take away your plates/bowls quickly too so it's not just sitting on the table reminding you of how much food you consumed. Overall a 5/5 and I will defiantly go again soon!

Great price, probably one of the best Asian buffets I've been to and I'm not really a buffet-type person. Atmosphere not so great but it's good food and the kids love it.

Read the reviews so the hubby and I gave it a try. We walked in and a man at the desk saw us and turned around, couldn't even say hello. Then the hostess comes up and takes us back to our table. Both of our first plates of food were borderline cold, so that was a terrible start. The only reason nothing was said to anyone is because there was steam coming from all of the buffets indicating that they were fresh and hot the second time around. Sesame chicken, fried rice, and crab Rangoon were all super mediocre. There were even a few items that my husband and I bit into, and simply couldn't eat anymore of. The stuffed mushrooms were beyond disappointing; they were stuffed with cream cheese and topped with cheese and tasted awful. The stuffed blue crab shells smelled super fishy but I had my husband try it to see if there was any pork in it (which I don't eat) and he said "I don't know what's in it but its really gross". Needless to say we will not be back.

Every time I go, I enjoy my food. The selection is large and the staff is very friendly. I do recommend going at lunch time... Dinner time is a little pricey and you get the same food from lunch time. So you pay extra for nothing really...

We went to this place on high reviews from a co-worker who stated this is the best buffet in town. I was not impressed. The service was good and our drinks were large, however, the positives pretty much stopped there. Typically when you go to a restaurant, the front door is facing the street. The front door here was in the back of the building near the back of the parking lot. No sign to the doors, but we found out when we tried to enter the emergency doors near the street side. We got seated promptly and our drink orders taken. I went straight for the Sushi bar and my husband had his usual chicken and other items. Fresh is not the case. The raw fish was rather underwhelming and part of it had a funk to it. Definitely not fresh. The fish roe were good, but that was about it on the sushi bar. My husband's chicken looked dry and definitely not fresh. I also had the Hibachi grill where I included bean sprouts, mushrooms, shrimp, and hibachi steak. Cooked too long and again, didn't taste fresh. The crab salad was good and tasted like it was just made, but the cold shrimp was rather dry and hard. Definitely not fresh! Even though the floors looked clean, the tile was rather slick. This is not good for a person with a limp and unsteady gate. I tried to stay on carpet as much as possible. Overall I was not impressed. I feel that they may have so many items on the menu that they don't keep it fresh. The food bins were rather full, instead of just keeping a small amount of each item until it's gone. I don't feel they do buffets justice and I've had much better. Probably won't be going here again.

Very delicious and cheap! If you like seafood and grill you won't be disappointed here. Sushi and Chinese snacks are good choice. And you can find coupons on MINT that saves your expense!

This place had been highly recommended by a fellow diner st another buffet in a nearby town. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was as good as described. Everything was fresh on a busy Sat. at lunchtime. Extensive selection plus a nice grill and sushi chef. Very pleasant wait staff too. Check 'em out, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Highly recommendly!!!! Great food and huge selections. Most importantly, it's a very clean restaurant. Can't go wrong with the price you pay. L.D.

This restaurant is proof why Yelp is better than Urbanspoon. 72% of the 18 people liked this on Urbanspoon. This restaurant is garbage. Granted you are paying between 6.75 and 9.75 for a hibachi/sushi/chinese/american buffet, but it isn't worth the stomach pain. The hibachi was the only thing that was decent, and I stress decent in the restaurant. Even though it was the best, it was still pretty bland. If you do brave this place, do not under any circumstances eat the sushi unless you are only eating stuff with fake crab in it. I had a piece of what I thought was a philly roll and what was supposed to be smoked salmon tasted like fish that had been left in the sun for a while. I will never go back and I encourage you not to waste your money. Go to Kichi or Makino if you want cheap-ish chinese/japanese buffet.

Price is great but food is just OK. The food just didn't wow me. I'd go back if I had.

The best Chinese buffet in town! Food is always fresh and delicious. A friend of ours that does not like Chinese food loves this place as they have a wide selection of American dishes including, ham, roast beef, boneless pork loin, salmon and fried chicken. Wonderful selection of fresh fruit and desserts. I love the sushi and eat there at least three times a month.

This place is terrible ! Out of three people eating there, none of us had one thing that was good. Maybe one or two decent things, but overall, terrible ! Staff was not friendly, plates were stacking on the table, and we had nothing to drink to wash down that terrible taste. Food is not fresh, rice is not cooked, and don't even get me started on the sushi.. When they finally checked on our drinks, they took them away in the back, and I don't really know what happened to our glasses.. What a waste of money ...

OMG! I have only been for lunch, but probably 50 times and it is sooo clean and good. A delicious salad bar, sushi and dessert. I have never had he hibachi grill, but it looks good. And so cheap, like 6 dollars for lunch including drink. The food is always fresh and good and constantly replenished. Most certainly a destination place. One of my favorites, actually. Another must try on your list! It has spoiled me though from trying other Chinese places is my only flaw.

Let me stress this 1st and foremost: I am NOT a buffet person. Having said that, I was encouraged to try the Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet after friend(s) tried it out and gave it the 'thumbs up'. I've read the other review and I can only speculate that perhaps this place is under new management? The food was beyond my expectation. Fresh, tasty pre-cooked 'buffet' menu, as well as, the hibachi grill and sushi station. I'm not big on pre-cooked food (I know, I know...it's a buffet), but I did take immense pleasure in picking out my fresh cut veggies and building my hibachi plate. The grill was very clean and the food was prepared exactly as I requested: a little of teriyaki with tons of Sriracha hot sauce. I couldn't have made the dish better myself. Delicious goodness. There's tons of selections: fresh fruit bar, seafood bar, pasta bar, salad bar, hot soups bar, dessert bar, and an ice cream self-scoop station (Purity Ice Cream). There's a super-friendly wait staff and my water glass never went empty. Empty dishes are cleared before the blink of an eye. Fortune cookies never disappoint. There's something for everyone. So, if you're a family of 'picky eaters', then this is the place for you & yours!

We used to love this place. I mean 'go-there-once-a-week' love. But lately, there's not a lot to love there anymore. Quite honestly, they have gone way down hill. The last few times we went there we were extremely disappointed. The quality of the food has deteriorated greatly. It's not just a one time thing. We have noticed them 'cheapening' the food the last few visits. Leaving out ingredients, using less expensive ingredients or buying cheaper, generic brands. Even silly things like not providing spoons anymore. Today we went there for lunch. They have a Hibachi grill that used to be worth the trip alone. Now, the steak and chicken are fatty. They no longer have crushed hot peppers, my husband's favorite. And they have watered down their sauces to the point where you can't tell the Teriyaki sauce from the Hibachi from the Lo Mein sauce. Why even offer 3? Just offer 'Sauce' and be done with it! The sushi also used to be a high point. No more! The sushi used to have ingredients like asparagus and mango but apparently their customer are not worth the few extra cents that would cost. Most of sushi is heavy on the avacado so if you don't like that you're doomed. Now, on to the Chinese buffet. It has been very disappointing lately. Today's Broccoli Chicken had cold broccoli, warm-ish chicken and was flavorless because there was no sauce. It tasted just like the Broccoli Beef which was cold and also had no sauce. The General Tso Chicken tastes just like the Orange Chicken which tastes just like the Sesame Chicken. If they weren't marked you couldn't tell which was which. Again, why have more than one, except to fill up space with cheaply made food? Bland, dry, cold. They have just given up. Or they just don't care, which is even worse. And on to a more delicate problem which has plagued us the last few visits. I don't want to be crude but lunch today has left, shall we say, needing multiple emergency restroom visits. That's right. You understand. We will no longer be going to Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet. It feels like the end of and era. A bland, flavorless era.

While the trays were full of standard American Chinese, I found the sushi to be of less than grocery store quality. A few dishes were unanimously voted as gross, the stuffed potato with ham chunks, cold mussels, and mozzarella sticks among them. Ranking as "Meh", stuffed mushrooms (you didn't want a second). The bad things stood out from the good, but anything with chicken, or fried, or a dessert seemed to be edible. I would down grade this place to one star, if it didn't have the luxury of being in Knoxville to boost it along.

One star because I had to choose one of them. Food was mediocre at best and the service would probably be better in a prison cafeteria. Definitely would not recommend

It was our families first time eating there and we went right after church. It only took 5 minutes for us to be seated. The placed was packed and that is normally a great sign. A server came by our table and took our drink order and we were off to the buffet. There was a suishi bar and Habachi grill next to each other. Then there were 6 tables to choose from 4 tables being hot entree' s and 1 tabke for dessert and fruit and the last table for chilled shrimp, oysters and salad bar. There was even an ice cream station. The food quality was fantastic and the price was very affordable for a family of 4.

Holy Incredible. Best Chinese Buffet Ever! You need a solid 3 full plates just to get through the array of options. And they are all great! They have a BBQ chicken that tasted like my favorite mall bourbon chicken! I had a couple full plates of good muscles. Soup, prime rib, meat meat meat. Seriously awesome! No complaints other than the ability to walk out of the door from being so full :)

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
