3 Stars for the beer selection on tap. Degraded for so many smokers inside. Maybe the secret it to brew a beer that tastes like a dirty ashtray, then they wouldn't have to ruin all the awesome beer flavors for the rest of the non-smoking patrons.

Like seriously, what's not to like. All summer long they have $2-$3 draft beers depending on the kind of beer and the food was all good. The service is quick and on point. I don't think I would love it throughout the year but I was in town for a conference and it was the perfect place to hang and lay low. There are two areas to hang in, front and back - each with a bar - the back one has a small but looks like it's a full bar as well. The bathrooms are clean which is great, but it is a divey bar so the floors are kinda sticky and you get a whiff of something slightly questionable every now and again. It's close to campus and the Hilton Garden or Garden Hilton whatever it's called. One of their specialties are Vol Bombs which is their in-house made orange vodka with red bull and it is deliciously dangerous. $3 well spent. $9 would not be well spent. Great things come in moderation.

First MAJOR plus...they are smoker friendly!!!! A TON of beer on tap and collage game day Saturday the serive was awesome!!!!! Definitely must visit in Knoxville, especially if you love beer, smokes, and UT VOLS football as much as I do!!!!! Good Ole Rocky Top, Rocky Top TENNESSEE!!!!

Looking for the college crowd? Then you have found your haunt. Cumberland gets kind of lonely at night so keep that in mind. If you are I to bar food then this is your place. Lits if greasy bar food.

This place was WONDERFUL! I did not choose to go here and wasn't expecting the food to be so delicious. Went on a very busy weekend due to an event in the area and the waiters were constantly zipping around keeping drinks coming and the food coming out. I had the boneless wings (which you get a million of) and the fries. Other members of my party had some of the hamburgers, which looked amazing. This place was great--wish it wasn't so far from home!

My favorite bar in town! Great bartenders and attentive servers! They have great daily specials and trivia. I loved the adult trivia but they changed it a few months back to general trivia. Still fun! My only negative is the food is hit or miss with it being on campus. But they've always tried to fix it if there is an issue.

This place is one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm back in town for a game. They have 20+ drafts and great bar tenders. Half Barrel always brings back great memories from college.

I always enjoy heading to Cumberland Ave and reliving the times of yesteryear. The Half Barrel was one of the bars I would always go to back in the day. (Geez, I just said back in the day) This is one of the first places on the strip that had a great craft beer selection. You can find the local beer, Saw Works, plus other great beers like Abita, Fat Tire, and much more! If beer isn't your fancy, they have a pretty big selection of other things. I have to say, on a game day, I am a big fan of the VOL BOMB. Stoli Orange and Red Bull....ahhhhh tastes like college! I did nibble on the pretzels and the house made hoppy beer cheese dip. You totally have to get it! Very additive and has a great price point for two people to share!

Wow! I was impressed. For a bar on the Strip, I didn't feel like I was in "U.T. Land"!! It's a cozy cool bar with a great selection of bourbons and scotches. I was impressed. Looking for a cool late night bar I think this is a good choice. I've only been once....but I would return. Cheers!
