I've only been for lunch but this place is good. I'm easy to please when it comes to Mexican food though. Drizzle everything with cheese, and I'm a happy camper. I will say, this is the "normal" Mexican food that you see at most places. If you want more traditional, try La Esperanza a few miles away.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Knoxville. Ordered Taquitos Mexicanos and was not disappointed. Only $7.99 and I am stuffed. Also very clean restaurant that has full tequila selection.

-2 stars for a guy begging for money outside the front door. I told them, they chased him off, but that very disappointing. Shared the habanero fajitas. They were great. And fast. Cute place....inside.

After trying a different local restaurant we came in here not expecting much, were we blown away!! The food portions were much larger than the last place we visited. The carnitas plate was just over $11 but the meat tasted authentic and was a good sharing size portion. My wife had the chile relleno and loved it! She told me it tasted like one from her favorite restaurant at home. The prices seemed reasonable for the size, salsa needed a little salt but that's expected since that's really up to individual tastes. Alcohol was served although we didn't partake, they have a 25 oz for around $5 which isn't too bad. Overall we loved this place and are probably headed by there on our way back home!!

The people who own Habañeros are fantastic. They keep the restaurant clean and the food fresh. This is a great place to get Mexican food quickly and affordably. Their salsa is fresh and so good! I recommend Habañeros to all of my friends.

This is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. I used to have to drive across town to the West End to get good Mexican food. Now, it is right next to my doorstep. These guys are great at catering to both American and traditional tastes, as well as having great personalities. I could not recommend this restaurant more.

We stopped here on our way home from vacation. With a 4.5 star yelp review it looked ideal. It was awful. My kids ordered nachos and a pizza. The kids nacho was just chips on a plate with cheese dip on top and the pizza looked so nasty we wouldn't let my daughter eat it. My enchilada cheese was cold in the middle and the red sauce on top tasted like it came from a can. The bathrooms are filthy. Only one stall was open cause the other was full of paper and crap. I dunno where these 5 star ratings are coming from next time I'll just go to Taco Bell.

All the normal stuff is delicious. Only concern was that the beef kind of tasted like it had tomato sauce on it... Like it belonged in ravioli. I want to try chicken next. Otherwise, great for Americanish-Mexican food.

I very much enjoyed my lunch here. I ordered the Burrito California, which was filled mostly with steak strips and rice, and topped with white cheese sauce. The steak was outstanding! Most Mexican places I've tried serve dry, bland steak. This however, was a nice surprise as the steak was moist and well seasoned. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The salsa served with the chips is slightly above par, I thought. I will try the carne asada on my next visit.

This place is near our house and we eat here almost every week. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and it has all been delicious. The service is fast and friendly. I'm so glad to have such a good restaurant so close by.

Authentic food from courteous staff. So glad to see this quality restaurant on the east side of town. No one in town does Mexican food better.
