Wonderful! The food was prepared fresh and was delicious. The environment was very clean and friendly staff. A little expensive but it was good.

Great food and value! So glad there is finally a nice healthy option on campus! I had the grilled chicken. The sauce was tasty the salad fresh and the wheat berry rice was really good! Cant wait to go back and try more!

Awesome food, friendly service and a cool atmosphere. For the price I pay for a ham sandwich and chips elsewhere I can get one of many gourmet paninis or salads (and have plenty left over for later). Or you can pick from one of many "meal size" small plates that range from $4-$7. The entrees which include steak, salmon and chicken are between $10-$15 and rival any fine dining establishment in town for a fraction of the cost. The beverage bar is the coolest thing I've seen in a restaurant. It has 6 different varieties of tea and lemonade. They also have a flavored water (cucumber and lemon today) for those who don't want to spend $2 on a refillable drink. Convenient location at University Commons, in front of Publix, with ample covered parking and far enough removed from campus that it's well worth the trip!

Let's talk about my expectations for a restaurant that promises fast food and meals available under $10. And when figuring my level of expectation, don't forget to add that said restaurant is a chain. This formula will spit out something just above mundane and adequate. Now you understand what I was expecting when I walked through the doors at Fresh to Order. What I was greeted with was far from mundane and blew adequate out of the water! Let's start with the staff. While I am very aware that the employees may just be high off of the new restaurant smell, the staff is fantastic! Super knowledgeable about the menu and ready to share their opinions, they walked us through the a menu that has no lack of options! They were eager to help at every turn and check on us to make sure that our experience was nothing short of perfect! The restaurant itself is open and inviting! High top, low top, and booth tables are sprinkled in the dining room to help accommodate whatever size party that walks through their door. From the entrance, you can see the big, open kitchen with employees milling about, making delectable morsels. And now on to the main event, the food. Wow. Just wow. When my generous portion of Almond-Rosemary Crusted Chicken Skewers arrived, I was charmed by the artistic work of art that sat on a plate before me! My plate was decorated in color, which is something that is missing in a lot of restaurants. My chicken was cooked to perfection, moist and tender, and it was laid on a bed of asian slaw. I substituted the mashed sweet potatoes for grilled vegetables and was pleasantly surprised when that didn't mean the typical variety of carrots and zucchini. My veggies consisted of a half an ear of corn, portobello mushrooms, and a roasted red pepper...all freshly grilled. I ordered the 3/4 portion and still would have been plenty full with a smaller portion. With paninis, burgers, salads, and so many great entrees on the menu, I think you could try something new everything for a long time and not have to have the same thing twice. I intend to do just that. I can definitely see this becoming of my regular spots in town.

Tomato bisque soup- thick and creamy. Flavorful. Not salty. Not tomatoey. Very filling. I mixed it with shredded tortilla chips, seasoned corn, croutons and avocado. It wasn't as weird as I thought it would have been. The typical partner for soup is oyster crackers so having these new combinations was interestingly good. I highly recommend! I didn't try the chicken tortellini soup but I saw it and it was very water and I've heard a lot of people say it was more like chicken noodle soup since it was noodles instead of tortellini.

This place is truly as good as it gets. My mind is currently blown as to how good the food is and how wonderful the employees are. When Fresh To Oder first made it public they were signing a lease with University Commons, I was a little disappointed. I googled them, looked at their menu and thought it was just going to be another blah eating place. With a name like Fresh To Order, one is certainly not expecting gourmet food. I figured it would probably fall in the same category as Jersey Mike subs, another eating place with okay food at University Commons. Boy was I wrong. Fresh To Oder is fantastic. Other than the fact that they need a better name. The set up is nice. Very open restaurant and you can see into the kitchen as you walk up to place your order. Some of this might be due to the fact that they are really new but the employees are really nice. They walk up to you as you walk into the door and offer you a menu. They actually listen to you, repeat your order when you place it and make thoughtful suggestions. The food is on a different menu. Definitely healthy, delicious and well thought out. You get the option of salads, paninis or main entrees. They have a wide variety of yummy sides, I thoroughly enjoyed the mashed sweet potatoes and the berry rice. They also have a nice variety of teas and lemonades that change every day. I know this because I went two days in a row and the tea/lemonade option was very different both days. It is just a little pricey but so worth it. Fresh to Order is a must visit. I'm so glad they are here!!!

Just had lunch there today and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Asian Crunch Panini with the Fresh to order salad. All just really good and portion was large! I could have shared with hubby. He has same sandwich but Chicken Tortilla soup and he said it was all very tasty! Both ate for $20.00. While it's not the cheapest in town, it really is very good and nice to have different choices. They are very nice and friendly and atmosphere is very nice and CLEAN! Definitely will be back.

I think this place is just fine. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I am not nearly as blown away as my fellow Yelpers with this spot. It is very clean and the people are super friendly. The flavored teas are my favorite thing about this spot. My food has just been mediocre though. Nothing is wrong with it, it just isn't great. I've had a salad twice and both times the lettuce looked a little less-than-fresh. I also had a caprese panini and tomato basil soup. I LOVED the soup but they committed a restaurant cardinal sin in my book with the panini - it wasn't heated all the way through! come on guys. make it melty, especially when the main ingredient is giant pieces of cheese. I will not rule out going back when i'm in University Commons as it is a convenient and healthy option, but I am not really into it over all.

I love their Corn Chowder!!! They have lots of other soups to choose from but I have found myself craving this one since I tried it on my first visit. I got the soup and sandwich combination and had to get a box cause the portion size is great. Another great aspect is the wide variety of beverages. After getting used to other fast casual restaurants with the Freestyle Coke machines, without that machine they still keep a large selection. The teas and lemonades switch day to day but are always fresh and delicious. I definitely plan on coming back to Fresh 2 Order to work my way through their extensive menu.

If there's one thing Knoxville's never short of, it's new restaurants. Some leave a lot to be desired, but Fresh to Order is not your run of the mill new Knoxville dining spot. The menu is REALLY solid with choices for all palates. The staff was welcoming even right as we walked in the door. The person at the door gave lots of great suggestions, and was amazingly helpful in narrowing down the scad of great choices. I ended up ordering the Brown Sugar Roasted Pork Loin served with a side salad and mashed sweet potato. Here's where it gets a little nutty. They have a full portion, and a 3/4 sized portion. I was hungry, so I got the full portion. I enjoyed the full portion, but I had to struggle to get through it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the portions are MORE than generous, and if your scale doesn't say "one of you get off" when you step on it, consider the smaller portion. And that's the thing. It's fresh to order. What's in a name? EVERYTHING, right? So the food is fresh with great presentation, and I feel good about eating it because on top of the fact that it was scrumptious to the last bite, it felt healthier than many Knoxville eateries. So here's where we stand: The menu's huge, the people were helpful with ordering, the food came quickly and the presentation was excellent. It beat my expectations to a pulp and left me asking for another trouncing. What I haven't mentioned is that on my next visit, and you bet there'll be a next visit, I'll likely try a drink from the extensive choices of teas and lemonades. They taunted me just a smidge. So I really really liked this place a lot, and the only things I had any issue with is that I wish it weren't a chain. I really loved everything about F2O, but it being a chain is a bit of a struggle. I also don't like that it's in a development anchored by a walmart, but those are my crosses to bare. There is absolutely nothing about the food or the experience that wasn't well executed.
