Had a hamburger and fries. It was good. Nothing special, but, no complaints.

This place flat out rocks. Some of the best tasting hamburgers on the planet. Served by some of the most friendly people on the planet. They pay attention to detail. If you request extra onions, you are going to get lots of extra onions my friends. They don't play. Milkshakes? Oh my goodness! Totally awesome quality and astonishing variety. And they don't screw it up. Always an excellent experience for one person or a family of 7. Bravo Zulu! This is one of my favorite places to eat in town.

I usually hate the line and the wait but whoever made the burgers tonight was on point!!! Seriously, wow.

If you are going to CookOut you are not going because the food is great. You going because it's cheap. To be honest you get what you pay for. Every now and then you'll get a great burger, the next visit it may be a half cooked with almost raw bacon. Can I also mention that their speaker system is like a skit from SNL you have to order like 5 times clarifying what you have ordered. It's annoying as can be. Basically if you want a burger for cheap, and maybe get what you ordered. Heck it may be cooked well, or raw then this is the place for you. After going there quite consistently I have decided not go anymore because it's just too inconsistent. Last time I just threw my daughters burger away because it was not fully cooked. Ugh So basically if you want the Russian roulette of burgers this is the place for you.

The burgers are good, especially for the price. My husband got chili on his and was not disappointed. I got the pulled pork which was okay-definitely should have asked for some bbq on the side. Fries were very good! Didn't try a shake but definitely will go back to try one. One downside was we had to keep repeating our order into the speaker and the attendant kept cutting us off.

Unfortunately we had to find something for dinner last minute. I didn't know this was drive through or walk up and take home. First time visit from friends' raving reviews. Their burgers are thick and juicy. Nothing like a skinny fast food burger. They customized both our burgers with what we wanted. Their fries are cut with the skins in and had lots of flavor! The shakes are tremendously thick! Lots of flavors available as well. Next time we have to pick up dinner last minute I would definitely go here. The only draw back is that it is hard to make a left onto Kingston pike out of there on a busy afternoon.

Love this place! The shakes and hushpuppies are my go to sweet and salty fix on a budget. Always fast, fresh, and friendly.

The milkshakes are what I go for. Sometimes I also get food. There are so many flavor options for the milkshakes, but the best ones are those that include chocolate, caramel, and candy flavors. The fruit flavored ones seem to be somewhat bland. The food is better than what you'd find at a national chain, and you can't beat the price. $4 gets you a burger or sandwich plus 2 side items (fries, hush puppies, beans, corn dog, slaw, etc), and a soda. Or pay an extra $1 to get a milkshake instead of soda. If you order just a milkshake it's $2.

First time trying Cook Out after having several people had recommended it to me recently. The burgers tasted homemade (that's a good thing!!) and the prices were decent. We got fries and hush puppies for our sides, which were both good. I'm not usually into shakes, but heard theirs were good, so I also tried the Mint Oreo shake. It was super thick and wonderful! There were large chunks of Oreo in it too! Yum! We'll be back!

NOBODY makes a shake like Cook Out. Both Knoxville locations are excellent. The service is always prompt and friendly, and the product is consistently high quality. All of their food is tasty and reasonably priced. Simple, all-American food served perfectly every single time! What more could we ask? P.S. If you're looking for the best banana milkshake on the planet, look no further. I order the same shake - plain banana - every time.

I've only ate this restaurant twice. Friday May 11th was my most recent visit. I'll start with the good. The food was fresh and hot both times. The fries were mediocre with Cajun spices on them. The bad - I got the same 1/2 pound burger both times. I had hoped for a good juicy tasty burger from a place called Cook Out. What I got was a fresh burger that was dry and pretty much tasteless. If it had been juicy and seasoned it could have been good. I have only had burgers there so the other food may be better.
