It was ok. Nothing special. Meal came out over a 20 minute period. Nothing like a 6 year old not understanding why everyone else is eating and she keeps being told to wait. Wasn't too bad.

Don't waste your time this restaurant had good reviews but terrible food. When I walked in the restaurant song sleeping child first booth. The food has so much MSG I think it made this child pass out. It started with the salad which was drowning in dressing. I try to spoon some of the dressing off but it was just coated completely from top to bottom. I told my waitress there was too much dressing but she didn't seem to care. It should've been a warning to me that my entrée would have way too much salty sauce. After one bite we both decided this was not the restaurant for us. I told the waitress of our problems with our meal and she insisted that we pay full price and so we did and left and we will not return, even for free.

I went back to chef Ben a few days ago and again was very impressed with the food and the service. I don't understand how there could be negative reviews on this restaurant, they have to be one of the best if not the best Chinese restaurants in Knoxville. I have only ever been there with a party of 4 or less, so I can't comment on the service for a large table, they may just have a small kitchen. However, I will always go back here when I want amazing Chinese food promptly and in large quantities.

This is the worst Chinese food... Please go to Wok N Roll on Earth Magnolia.. Chef Ben customer service sucked. We got our entrees at different times, the waitress never gave us any refills nor ask us how our meal was, in fact I never seen her again through out the whole meal after she gave us or entrees at different times... No stars!!!

I recently went to this fairly new addition to the Fountain City restaurant on Thursday afternoon and immediately found myself there again on Friday afternoon. The restaurant is small, but the decor and atmosphere are classic, clean, and enjoyable. The prices on the menu are extremely reasonable and the selection is extensive. The food was really good and the portion sizes were perfect- not too big or too small. I especially enjoyed the rice they had- sort of tasted like it was whole grain or something because it had a heartier taste and certainly filled me up quickly. I enjoyed the restaurant alot and am excited to visit it again. I hope all Fountain City/Knoxville residents take a chance on this delightful local restaurant.

Honestly wasn't too impressed. A lot of the food tasted bland, but wasn't too bad. The egg rolls are definitely not as good as other places I've had in Knoxville, but if you don't have very high expectations, it's not bad as far as Chinese places go. Portions are reasonable for the price. Fairly nice for a casual place.
