Upon walking in, the patio area was packed. This is a great place for wings....their wings are a dry rub with sauces. Their sauces are ALL excellent. I cannot describe the flavor. It has my vote as #1 in Knoxville.... The waitress was very nice, the manager went around to all the tables, checking on them. He gave us extra sauces to try... He even suggested the cupcakery's cupcakes. Red velvet, double chocolate, peanut butter and chocolate, got all 3 for $10 Yummmmmy. Very Moist...We liked the double chocolate and the Red Velvet the best. The music on the patio is 80's....love it. Overall, will be a regular in here and suggest everyone to try it... Highly suggested.

The wings are very good with original spice rub or spicy. Cooked to perfect. Many different dipping sauces to choose from. The side salad was very good and only 2 dollars. The noise level inside was very loud, the only downside.

I was first worried because most of the Yelp reviews were that I read were drom 2014 and you never know what can happen after a year in business. Although, me and my wife had a yearning for wings since she hadn't had them in a while. I myself have wings at least once a week. To get to the point here. I prefer smoked wings ivee fried wings most of the time. When we got here and saw all the wings were fried, I thought "Oh no?" The Big Kahuna wings my friends is legit fried wings. This is what wing stop is supposed to taste like. Nit to greasy or overwhelmed by anything. You didn't have to worry about them being over sauced since they were all dry rubbed. And the Fire dry rub is exactly what you look for. Not too much heat but just spicy enough. The side sauces are amazing and the best part of all is how crunchy good the chicken skin is. I could eat these for days and I suggest you do. Lastly but for sure not the least part of the experience was the great service we received from Rinona. We got there right before the place got busy. As we went along our meal the place begun to get packed. I saw Rinona have to start moving quicker and quicker. No matter how busy it got, she nade sure we got what we needed. Even if she had to ask a fellow co-worker to bring us something while she took care of another guest who called her over suddenly. It was great! 5 Stars!!

Best wings in Knoxville! I had the Big Kahuna wings (the whole chicken leg), which come seasoned with an original or spicy dry rub and are meant to be eaten without any sauce. I tried it with sauces, but much to my surprise I ended up eating them "dry" (they were cooked perfectly) and even after peeling off the skin the meat had tons of awesome flavor. This place is my new go-to spot for wings, despite the atmosphere feeling a bit like a demo building at Home Depot. At least there are plenty of nice TVs!

Excellent wings, nice new place in Dixie Lee. Been waiting months to get in here and our first visit did not disappoint. We had wings and chicken tenders and they were excellent. The place was packed but it just opened and it was Friday night. The service was good friendly and pretty fast considering how full it was and the fact they just opened. Great to see new business open up in our little town. I am a fan - will be back.

My wife and I ate here for the first time last night along with our son and daughter-in-law. When we arrived around 7 PM on Friday there were no tables available so we had to wait about 15 minutes which was reasonable. The venue is small and does not take reservations or call ahead seating. The waiter was very friendly and patient with us while we looked at the menu. We decided to have the Kahuna Pig Fries as an appetizer. It came out pretty quick and was gone almost as fast. The fries were freshly cooked and the pulled pork, bacon, and cheese on the top were delicious as was the garlic sour creme dipping sauce. Ketchup is available on request. We ordered the traditional wings with the spicy rub and I specialized mine for 10 cents extra each with drums. The order took a little longer than expected so we ordered another plate of Pig Fries to help the wait. Again those came out pretty quick; even before or main order. Wings come with two sauces so my wife and I ordered original and original hot. The wings came out piping hot (too hot to eat) which was great. The drums I ordered were cooked perfectly and were easy to eat. Everyone else had the traditional wings and said they were good as well. I thought the 10 cents extra I paid was worth it as the drums seemed to have lots more meat. The sauce tended to slant towards the hot side was fine with me and my son but the girls would have ordered more mild if given another opportunity. My daughter-in-law order the mild but was still a little too warm for her taste. Currently they are only open for dinner but one of the owners stated that they would be opening for lunch on Fri-Sat beginning the first week of March. As I said the venue is small and consequently very noisy which makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. So come here for the wings and not the conversation. You won't be disappointed. If I could have given it a 4.5 I would have but it just seemed like the kitchen was a little too slow for a 5. I will be eating here again though!

Well the concept sounded good. We ordered the Big Kahuna wings which are big full wings. It has a dry rub on it then you choose dipping sauces. Two problems...the rub is so salty I will probably need a double dose of blood pressure medicine, and you can't dip the big wings into the little sauce cups. I don't think we will go back.

So disappointed. I live just around the corner from big kahunas wings . Went by a couple times to have lunch they don't do that weird. Made it for the first time Thursday night nice waitress first thing out of her mouth was the concept what the hell. Restaurants with concepts they have to explain to you never have worked for me just saying. Okay it's brand-new restaurant very clean looks great from the street. Their concept is dry rub that basically means salt and more salt and spice rubbed on your chicken. You can see by the other photos people posted is awful. I was surprised to find no other post like mine wish them good intentions but I will not go back.

Very disappointing. Boneless wings were dry and chewy. Should offer the option to make them wet instead of dipping them in a sauce.

Amazing food and unique place. Wonderful staff makes sure you enjoy good service, tasty wings and quaint atmosphere. The classic wings and Brown Ale are a perfect match. The owners are great people too!
