The bbq is wonderful! I love that they have so many different sauces to try that are on your table. You can actually purchase them as well to go. Their pork sandwhiches are well portioned and large. Their sides are in small serving cups. I was so stuffed that I had every intention to try the banana pudding since I hear nothing but wonderful things about it but I just had no room. That means I need to definitely return! I love that in the Karns Community restaurant that they have kept the Karns decor on the wall. Its a little pricey but worth it to pay a little more for some good hometown bbq!

Food is really good especially the pulled pork and potato salad. Prices are a bit high especially sides and desserts. Buddy's Bar-B-Que has an all day Tuesday special for $6.00. Includes meat, 2 sides and drink. This costs over $12.00 at Archers. Prices are not family friendly. Dessert was so small, I had about 3 bites and it was gone.

LOVE Archer's BBQ! The pulled pork flavor is wonderful and we love the variety of home made sauces. We pick up carry out for dinner at least every few weeks. We generally do not eat inside. The service is always great and they seem to be involved in the community as well.

A friend told me about Archers. They were ok. In a word, overpriced. I had a pork plate with creamed corn and potato salad. The portions were medium average sized. Nothing noteworthy. The creamed corn was uniquely spiced and a nice change from the usual fare at a BBQ joint. The potato salad was the bomb! It was awesome. Great taste. Great texture. The smoked bacon in the potato salad was a nice touch. The pork was ok. Nothing special. A #1 plate with pulled pork served on a slice of generic white bread, two sides on a paper plate and a 12oz fountain drink was $13.38 without a tip. This was not in my opinion a reasonable value. The staff was disinterest and continued their conversation while preparing my plate, even had to ask me to repeat my order because they were distracted. Table was dirty and needed wiping. On a positive note, The Andy Griffith Show was playing on the TV in the dining area.

Just made my first official visit to Archer's Barbeque - Bearden and I purchased four plates (2 pulled pork sandwiches and 2 half slabs) and we had a combination of barbeque beans, slaw, and creamed corn as sides. No one was disappointed in my family as I heard much less talking during the meal and I witnessed far more finger licking. I still hold to my original review that the prices are high but the quality of the food and the service are OUTSTANDING. I have to apologize to Archer's West as I originally called to place my order there in error but Bearden (where I thought I was calling) very professionally jumped in and replaced my order after calling the West location and canceling for me To repeat, as long as the quality stays up, i will be a life-time customer..

In my opinion, it's the best BBQ in Knoxville. My family agrees. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The sauces are all made from scratch and each one delicious in its own way: Kansas City (my favorite), St. Louis, Memphis, Carolina mustard, original, and moonshine. The potato salad is TO DIE FOR, and I'm not even a big potato salad fan. Try it. Trust me. The hubs and son love the collard greens. It seems from other reviews that there might be some service issues, but for us, that has never been the case. I'd come in rather than drive thru. Just sit, sample the sauces, and enjoy.

Great Southern Hospitality! The PULLED PORK is 'WOW' delicious! Tender, flavorful and many SAUCES to choose from. The staff were happy, friendly and very helpful. They offered up samples of all the sides I was curious about and didn't even bat an eye. They even kept suggesting more things for me to try! The BEANS were very sweet and flavorful, sure to be a hit with kids and bean lovers of any age. I hadn't tried 'COLLARD GREENS' before, the thought typically grossed me out but the boys behind the counter convinced me they were worth the experience. I have to say they weren't half bad. I'm sure if I tried them a few more times I would actually grow to ENJOY them. My personal favorite side was the LOADED POTATO SALAD! This was so delicious that I gave in and actually bought a side to go with my two large pulled pork sandwiches. The SIZE of the Sides is quite small but only 2$ for an individual side. The regular sandwich has 5oz of meat The large sandwich has 7oz of meat and is a beast! My advice, go to Archers try it yourself and Enjoy :D

Staff are friendly and the food was tasty, especially the ribs which were very well-smoked. I think the sides are overpriced for what they are and the size of the portion. 1/2 cup of banana pudding is not worth $4. I can make a whole pan of it at home for about $5. If you want a pan of it here it is $50. I agree with checking the to-go orders before you leave. I have seen them leave something out by accident. Accidents happen but having to get in the car and go back stinks, so count your things before you leave.

I love living close to Archer's! It's our go-to for good BBQ. I almost always get the pork plate with two sides. The pulled pork is delicious on its own, but those six sauces improve on perfection! I can't really choose a favorite.... Maybe Carolina Mustard or St. Louis? I've liked all the sides I've tried, but the baked potato salad might be the best. We've always experienced great service, too. The only thing I'd change is all the writing on the wall. It looks pretty ridiculous, but that doesn't affect the yummy food! :D

Excellent customer service!! The employees were SO friendly & helpful!! They made sure to tell us all about their specials & right for the Sweet Sixteen they have 16% off any Value Pak! I def recommend this place for quality of food & customer service!

Archer's is a very poor value compared to Texas Roadhouse. The pulled pork is about equal in portion size but after that it's all downhill. The two sides left a lot to be desired. The sweet potato chips were good but a small portion of food compared to Texas Roadhouse's actual sweet potato. Archer's creamy corn was good but nowhere near as big a portion as Texas Roadhouse's sweet corn. The Archer's pulled pork dinner included a piece of bread they called toast. It was just a piece of bread. Texas Roadhouse's pulled pork dinner includes six roles, peanuts, a large portion of delicious pulled pork, a large delicious sweet potato and a large helping of delicious sweet corn and it cost several dollars less that Archer's. No comparison in my opinion.

Second time here . Would have been 1 or 2 stars but the extremely friendly drivethru attendant and his suggestions. (Two infants meant I couldn't go in, so yea for the drivethru!) Glas they had a board explaining their different sauces. Both visits our orders have been wrong or missing something. This time they forgot the sauce! So when I got home I had two meats and no sauce which made for very dry BBQ.
