Horrible service! How can five people behind a counter be so inept? The answer to that question is available at this Starbucks. No one seems to be running the show, it's a farce.

Starbucks coffee is a Starbucks coffee, so the service distinguishes each store, too bad this store has no service. You can literally walk in no one will say anything to you, and can stand at the counter for two minutes and still no one will take your order. So if you go to coffee shops for coffee skip this one.

I have to say, I love most Starbucks, but this one is especially nice. We stopped by back in June when we were visiting TN. It's cozy and new, with the same great drinks you get at any other Starbucks. I don't remember any bad experience with the staff. Tell me - what's not to love?

Nice place to relax and hook up to the Internet. I am in town visiting family and no one has any service so I'm left to drive 20 mins but I sure don't mind having a yummy coffee and people watching . The Staff is nice and the place is clean .

This is a great Starbucks! I usually go through the drive they in the early mornings. The employees are fabulous and the drinks are delicious, great job baristas!

I'm all about 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th chances, but it seems that, by and large, the staff at this particular Starbucks are rushed and generally unwilling to go above and beyond to meet the individual needs of their customers. There ARE some very apt, kind and sweet baristas there...but more often than not, I have had to explain how to make any kind of specialty order and have been met with disdain at my requests...and then they still make it wrong. (Keep in mind I'm only comparing to what I have come to find is the overall reputation of Starbucks and, as a "spoiled gold card member" I've seen my fair share of AMAZING customer service at several other "small town" and "big city" stores) I am often taken aback by the laziness and lack of attention to detail by SOME of the staff there. If you're a "drop in every now and then" or frequent the drive through, you'll probably be fine. But if you're looking for a place to call your "regular coffee shop"...I'd look somewhere else. According to THEIR OWN STAFF, "a lot of people go to Johnson City" instead...and I would say it's worth the price of gas to be treated like a valued customer rather than an inconvenience.

Almost any Starbucks you walk into offers exactly what you'd expect: a choice of coffees and teas that are good quality. This location is a surprise find in a nice small town that seems to be "moving up" in the world. At least moving up in the world as well as any rural area can, that is. This Starbucks is clean, comfortable and efficiently run. Lines have never been what I'd consider long and move quickly. Employees are friendly. The coffee is the quality you expect from Starbucks and my orders have been correct and satisfying. Everything about this place is what I like about any Starbucks and that's enough for me.
