1 star food, 5 stars everything else. What did I just eat? Ordered the fried shrimp basket. Didn't expect much because we are in Tennessee but what was served to me shouldn't of even been legal. Literally it was 6 tiny unbreadded and hardly fried shrimp. What a disappointment. If they charge two bucks a shrimp then I'd expect something much much better. The basket was pathetic looking and I'm could feel a sense of guilt on the waitresses face as she served it to me. In the end I actually didn't even eat them all and gave three away to my poor mom who was just as disappointed. Her sandwich was called the "famous fried grouper sandwich".... Famous for what? Now I'm not saying I'm calling these people liars but, that fillet of fish wasn't even grouper!! My guess was tilapia or some other cheap white fish that they can pull off serving to local hicks who wouldn't notice the difference anyways because they probably have never seen the ocean and couldn't even begin to describe what a grouper looks like especially its taste. As for the jerk chicken sandwich, which to no surprise was just as awful as everything else, tasted like some odd jerk rub smothered in a bizarre sweet BBQ sauce. I didn't get how they managed to mess this one up. The food was absolutely nothing of what we expected and it's sad because my grandma took us here to support the local place because she said they have been suffering this past season due to a lack of business from the low water level caused by the broken dam. Overall the food was awful but the atmosphere is nice and beautiful. You have a fabulous view of the lake and the day we went had perfect weather so that helped ease the pain of the meal. I hope nothing but the best for this place and I hope they fix the dam soon so they can resume to normal business. I'm being very generous with 3 stars because I feel bad for them and even though the food sucked the service was prompt, friendly and the view was spectacular.

We used to love this place.. The last two times the service has been absolutely awful.. The GUY waiter was absent more than present and that was for every table not just hours.. We heard other tables complain about him.. The girls seem to be at least present at work.. Our guy, not so much It took two hours and 30 minutes for our meal and drinks.. Not an exaggeration.. The food was cold, especially the fries.. Cold, soggy.. Gross.. He messed up a salad order, yes a salad order.. Yet we were too hungry to worry about fixing it.. Once we asked for our ticket.. It took another 30 minutes to get our check and pay.. Yeah.. Service was the absolute worst ive ever experienced.. Dont expect much.. Sit at the bar if you can at least youll have someone around..

I came here on a Friday night while in town for the Bristol race and had a great time! Friendly staff and customers. The love band was fun and fish tacos were yum. I dislike beer and that is all they offer but it didn't ruin the atmosphere.

This place has the most horrible service I believe I have ever encountered. The food is awful if you ever get it. However I did enjoy the band.

We visited the end of Sept, 2013, so the end of boating season. Maybe that explains the food being disappointing. My husband and daughter ordered the fish and fry basket...more like fries with a side of fish. Very small pieces of fish and only 3 for about 11.00 a basket. Way over priced for what they got. I did love the view, but we will probably not return. The decking of this restaurant is nice and big and needs a definite scrubbing. Took me two years to finally get my hubby to try this place, we live in Greene county so about a 40 min. drive. Disappointed that the food was not up to par and the service was not good either, the young man was slow with drink refills....which is always, a negative for me. Maybe this place does better during the "season".
