Best place in Hendersonville to get some pizza (and wings or whatever floats your boat) and watch some sports games. I know everyone recommends the cajun pepperoni pizza, but I'm not a huge fan of pepperoni and I LOVE the Chicken Herb pizza. The largest size seems to have less toppings, so I always go with the 9 or 12" sizes. As a warning, if you try to go for a big game (like the NCAAF championship game or a big Titan's or Vol's game), it can be hard to get a table at the bar, or really a table overall. Plan to get there early!

Great beer choices, food and service. The tv's make it fun all the time. Try the wings there a hidden gem.

If the service was better they would get 5 stars... the servers don't seem to be on top of things.. Food is very good and they charge you for it :)

Bar food especially sports bar food has never really been held to a high standard. actually, its never been held to a standard at all since the main reason we go there is to cheer on our favorite teams with our friends because your parents have told you that you can no longer have your underemployed, half-finished college friends over anymore. The wings look like they came from midget chickens, the pizza is soggy, the spin dip looks like the white glue paste I used in kindergarden. Thats not the case with Sam's All-American Sports Grill. I have not had an entree in the 4 times that I have eaten there since I can't seem to get past the great appetizers!!!! only at Bahama Breeze has this happened. The sweet and spicy wings are great and look normal. The white pizza is quite simply one of the best I have had. the beer is nice and cold and they serve Yuengling beer on tap here ...... In middle Tennessee!!!! I am a happy man. The wait staff, as most folks here in this area, are very friendly and don't push everything on the menu. You don't have to be a sports fan to go there but it helps since there are big screened TV's everywhere. They even have them in their outside patio which seems to be a trend now. The airplanes hanging from the ceiling are cool though I am not sure I see the connection. If you are in the Murfreesboro, TN area which is a really nice area head on down to this place, you will not be disappointed!

Pretty decent sports bar! Need to upgrade the TVs to bigger ones! Beer selection was very good! Staff was very attentive and friendly! Like the set up! Menu looked pretty good, didn't eat! Love the large beer sizes! They also have an outdoor/smoking section with TVs! But, unless you're sitting at the bar, you're gonna have trouble seeing the TV! Overall, very good spot! I'll definitely go back! When we walked in I asked what TV the Nebraska game was gonna be on, the manager came right over to our table on put it on for me. Nice work dude! Pretty crowded too!

I went there with a friend before seeing a movie next door. We wanted a beer and a decent meal, nice enough place and comfortable, cool environment. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries as a side, I know we aren't in philly....but I've had better at the food court at the mall, lol. The hoagie roll was good and fresh, the beef was like the pre packaged and sliced stuff at the store, and the onions and peppers were still a bit raw. The fries had enough salt to season 3 orders. It wasn't good, what a shame.

This is my favorite sports bar to watch a big game or just stop by for that fantastic pizza. Wings are just awesome. Bushwhackers are there special drink on sale at all times. Service is good and can always improve but who couldn't as it gets hectic if you know what I mean. Love love this p,ace.

Visited here this past Friday night at around 7:00 pm. It was pretty packed with lots of folks waiting outside and all around the entrance inside. We put our name on the list and walked down and browsed a couple of the other stores nearby. We got a call (they took our phone number instead of giving us one of those vibrating beeper thingies) about 15 minutes later saying our table was ready. We returned and were given a booth with a great view of about a dozen TVs. I wanted to watch the Titans game anyway, so this was perfect, except they had the same two games on every TV. I'd have liked to have seen more variety but just a minor complaint. Anyway, wifey had the cajun pepperoni pizza which she said was very good. I had a black label burger. Ordered it medium and it was a tad on the rare side but no big deal. Very big and filling and tasted great. The fries were really good. I think they had some onion salt on them. Or maybe someone chopped an onion and then plated my fries without washing their hands. I don't know. But it tasted good. Also, we had a jalapeno queso dip and chips for appetizer and it was pretty good, too. There were a lot of people there so our server seemed to be a bit frazzled. She had to come back a couple of times and ask us about our orders because she'd forgotten. Again, no big deal but could've been a negative if we had a larger party or were in a hurry. All in all, we liked the place and will go back again.

The food is great, I love the white pizza and their salads are good, decent chicken wings but the absolute worst service ever! I had good service once and that was because we knew the waiter. But I can't tell you how many times I've gotten the wrong food because the waitress is too preoccupied with some guy or gossiping with another waitress. We went here with a group for the OSU vs Michigan game, everyone in the bar except maybe 5 people were either in OSU clothes or michigan clothes and they refused to put it on the big screen with sound because the UT game was on (which the 5 other people were wearing orange). Over 2/3 of the bar ended up leaving and going to buffalo Wild Wings because they were catering to their crowd and put on the game.

Sam's All-American Sports Grill is a wonderful alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street, featuring an ornate bar area, original decoration (if stuffed animals are what you consider decoration), and massive TV's posted in plenty of spots throughout the restaurant. The food, though, is rather dull on a consistent basis. The menu offers a lot of typical grill choices (burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and decent appetizers), but I've had better. What this bar lacks in really stellar food, it more than makes up in their evening programming. Every Wednesday is Trivia Night with around $85 in Sams gift cards up for grabs. Additionally Thursday nights feature karaoke, while every other night is a good night to watch a game. Overall, it's a fun place to go, but the food isn't necessarily the star attraction.

This place is on my favorite places to go list. They have a ton of tv's and what I would consider the best wings in the area. Hands down blows away Buffalo Wild Wings. I will be honest service can be sketchy but overall usually good. Staff I'd friendly and atmosphere good. Nice place to go for happy hour. They have good happy hour specials.

Though you will love the food, atmosphere and energy of this Hendersonville Sports bar, the server we encountered was absent, rushed and terse. Since there are many other servers' available don't let that hold you back from making Sam's All-American Sports Grill a lunch or dinner stop. The wrap sandwiches were delicious and the Turkey Reuben was awesome. The skinny fries were plentiful and though a little salty, a great accompaniment. The bar food menu also offers a good variety of appetizers, pizza and burgers. The large screen TV's kept us entertained, the booths were comfortable and trivia game was fun. The well stocked bar looked promising for those wanting a fun night on the town. Looking forward to another trip to Sam's All-American Sports Grill but it is our hope that, next stop, our server will be off.

I like to go here for the Pizza, Sports, and the friendly atmosphere. I will say that recently my friends and I have had two dissappointing visits, but the food is still good, so I will give them a couple of more tries. I advise you to NOT present these guys with a Groupon.

When I asked a classy lady friend of mine where I should take an out of town guest, she recommended this place. They have an impressive bar, with great angles, efficient service, and a nice atmosphere. There are plenty of TVs, games and a knowledgeable bartender. We didn't try the food, but we did sample the beer. They've got some great local and micro-brews available. I had two of the wheat beers, which I don't normally enjoy, but enjoyed both. My guess is this place is packed when the yuppies are out drinking. We visited on a slow Sunday afternoon in May, so the crowd was mixed. My guess is on a Friday or Saturday night, it's loud, packed, and hard to get service. (Some of the other reviews support this assertion). If you're in the Indian Lake area and want a fun, sports bar experience, with reliable food and service, this is a good bet. If you're really looking for a unique experience, this is going to feel too much like the big sports bars you see in every town.

There have been so many times we have given Sams a chance to prove our bad experiences as a one off. Time and time again they have let us down. From servers with horrible attitudes to the constant lack of consistency with their late night happy hour menu. Our latest experience we were told by one server that they had a late night menu. She brought out the menu to us. A second waitress told us that this didn't apply On Mondays, even though the menu clearly states "every night" at 10pm I never right reviews but after this many bad experiences we just think others should know and avoid this spot despite the great food.

Same good food as the original location however the service here was not as good. Our waitress wasn't in the weeds but she just didn't pay much attention, check in or seem to care.

Stopped by here a few times and think it's a solid sports bar. Plenty of TV's and I'm from outta town and they've been willing to change if my teams playing. Pizza's are very good, thinish crust and some of the cheese is cooked around the edge for that yummy cooked crisp cheese flavor. Wings are also very good, mild sweet spicy is an awesome base and I always get a little side of scorpion. Manager John was nice, friendly and welcoming as was our server of the same name. Very good craft beer selection. It's just a must to have a good solid sports bar and this one qualifies.

So first let me say that I love the location and atmosphere of this spot! That's the reason I'm giving 2 stars. Just wanted to give a run down on my most recent trip. The host was checked out when we walked in and seemed totally out of it. Then, the gem of a waitress really made the evening. She questioned our order choices (asking if we wanted waters with our drinks), then refused my husbands drink order all together when she saw his dog chewed ID.... Long story short... We went there to unwind and relax from a very stressful day only to be more stressed when we left. Horrible service.

Good beer on tap. Pizzas seem to be the popularly item, just beware no fresh herbs, all dried spices, otherwise pretty good. Happy hour Tuesday's all day!

First the positives - great atmosphere, great food! The downside - terrible, terrible service!!! Our waitress was complete crap. She couldn't answer questions about the menu, didn't know if there was drink specials, looked at the Facebook post on their page and shrugged when we showed her the special, disappeared for long periods of time, took our order then went over to clean a table that had been sitting empty before going to put our order in, the list could go on.... I complained to the mgr who was not interested at all, didn't apologize and didn't even listen to the entire complaint. We ended up leaving because it was so bad.

Been coming to Sam's for a few years now. If you haven't tried it then you are missing something awesome. If you have tried it and don't like it then there is something wrong with ya. Both the cajun pizza and the french dip sandwich are to die for. Good selection of draft beer as well. A lot of TVs and some cool decor. Check it out, you won't be sorry.

Cheap beer. Bad karaoke. I like it! Get chicken nachos not beef. Cookie monster like.

Good food and drinks. Service can be slow at times. Don't expect to get a seat if there is a game on. Best pizza in town!

Great place to watch games. They have plenty of TVs and the service is really good. The two items of food that I would recommend is their buffalo grilled chicken and the barbecue chicken pizza. They also have a location on the lake during summer that is great and has a very similar menu

Was the worst place I have ever been to the customer service from management is what I am talking about. I waited an hour and half for a table of six then they called me and told me I was next. Which was a lie they had me wait another 25 minutes to tell me that a table of 13 was more important than my time and business I wouldn't recommend this place to any ever again which is sad because I have been going since the place open its sad and I hope the owner will take another look at what's going on

Good food. Great lunch deals also. Kids menu is cheap too. Kids love the chicken and fries. Chili nachos are delicious. Wait staff is knowledgeable about the menu. Wish they had a mixed drink menu for ideas.

They make one hell of a 7 and 7. Other then that I had one of their "best burgers in Tennessee". I sure hope that's not the case haha. It was a good burger but middle of the road.

Sam's is a great place to grab a drink and just hang out. Tuesdays 2-4-1 is awesome. Standard domestics about $3. Massive chicken nachos= yummy. Smoking patio is fantastic! Trivia Wednesdays are fun, Karaoke Thursdays are miserable.

I've been a regular at Sam's for about six months. I'm Louisiana born. That said, I advise you to stay away from the Cajun pizza but all the others plus everything else on their menu I've tried is delicious (wings, pizzas, nachos, etc.)! They have a WIDE variety of brews and liquors to fit your fancy. It's hit and miss with the service personnel as often the newcomers are learning the ropes so be patient or stick to bar seating where you won't go wrong. The managers are excellent and have assisted me on all sorts of issues related to seating, tab issues, and left-behind items. I almost always go online ahead of time to check current specials, but even they seem to change too quickly to keep up. Sometimes, it's just best to call if you want to check on their drink specials for that afternoon/evening. I say afternoon because happy hour starts EARLY: 3PM!!! Unlike reviewer Selina K., I love Karaoke Thursdays. I guess cause I'm there for the sports all the time that it's nice to have a change of pace where folks cut loose on a microphone with an audience! Seems like everyone's singing along before the night is out. Or maybe it's just me. I'm a fan!

It's more of an upscale sports bar with excellent prices. The food was good and the price was perfect. I had a regular cheeseburger and fries and I think it was around $6.50 for the meal. The beer menu was good. I think they offered around 10 beers on TAP and 20-25 bottles. The place was fairly busy. The crowd was mainly made up of older patrons. There was a TV everywhere you turned and there was plenty of space and seating. The food isn't the best I've had but combined with the price this place is great.

I always feel so at home here. Food is a cut above most sports bars. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Average bar food. Good beer selection, although they are served in PLASTIC pint glasses. Tacky. Service is horrendous, and management doesn't seem to care. Server forgot beverages, forgot entrees to the point that the table was finished eating before the missing entrees arrived. Not a single "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" just ignored. Management present yet did nothing. This has been fairly consistent over several visits.

Delicious pizza! Pretty nice atmosphere for watching sports, and it seemed very clean. The servers weren't overly friendly, but definitely weren't rude.

It falls in my just OK category. Not much special to say about this place other than they have a lot of TVs to watch sports on.

Foods OK, Service pretty good, just don't present these guys with a coupon, especailly a Groupon. They use them to get you in, but will not accept them if you are there during happy hour, even though your food bill is higher than the Groupon value. Amazes me that they would make me go through this hassle to loose my business. Ate there 2-3 per month, or should I say I did eat there 2-3 per month. NO MORE!

This is a horrible place. I will not be returning. My bbq chicken pizza was burnt and my guests burger was raw. The server told us our meal was taken care of and we didn't need to pay. As we were leaving, the manager came to our table and said we were the ones with a problem. She did not accept any blame for the issues with the food or server. Instead, we needed to understand and we needed to fix the problem. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a restaurant. I would suggest going somewhere else.
