The last time I went to a Panera Bread restaurant, I was very disappointment that they had discontinued my favorite panini sandwiches and replaced them with flatbread sandwiches. So, I revised their earlier review down to two stars, and quit going there. However, since they brought back my favorite steak and white cheddar panini, I decided to give my new local Panera a try, and I'm glad I did. It was as good as I had remembered. I also tried my wife's chipotle chicken panini, and it was also very good. Now, if they would only bring back the Cuban, . . .

It's a shame that they have let this location run down. It was good when it first opened, but now it has gone downhill. The last few times I have gone there around 3:30 and the tables are dirty, napkins out, no toilet paper in restroom and trash is full, and all you see are a bunch of employees standing around. During a slow time of the day they should be cleaning the place up, but no, they are just hanging out! Clean the place up!!!!!!!

I get it you want a new corner of Hendersonville to start to decade .. Don't go here if you want this to be our Standard ??

Overpriced and mediocre food, plus terrible service. Went there last night, and all the employees liked like they would rather be anywhere but there. No one smiling, no one talking, kid at the register acted as if I was a nuisance. So placed our order, which came out to $23 for 3 soups and 2 half sandwiches, and looked around. They had boxes stored 10 feet high behind the counter, cluttered and in disarray. Not pleasing to look at. Got the food home, and it was good, but surprising how little we got! 3 tiny cups of soup, maybe 6 oz each, and 2 half sandwiches that looked like a quarter of what I could make at home. Pick 2 for $8.50, and this is all I get?? Ridiculous! The last time we went about a year ago our soups were only half full, sent a message on the companies website, an email was sent to me saying someone would contact me, no one ever did. I won't be going back. With all the other paces to eat good food and get great service, this won't be on my list anymore.

The food is what you expect. The bread bowl was delicious, however, I'm not one to usually notice dust or dirty floors, but their place needs a deep cleaning. The young brunette at the cash register is rather rude or maybe she just hates her job. Panera is kind of pricey for essentially a fast food joint, she needs to fake it. I even said thank you to her and she said nothing. I also said thank you to the young lady at the food service counter and she said nothing. I am 24 years old, these young ladies are giving young workers a bad name! And their business! Come on, you have one job. SMILE

Probably one of the worst Panera's I've ever been to. This place is constantly filthy and the staff (who seem to want to be anywhere else) couldn't care less! the service here is awful. even just going through the drive thru is an awful experience. it takes nearly 10 minutes! if you're really craving Panera, drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the Gallatin location. much cleaner, nicer, and just better overall.

Panera's are typically great places and I have enjoyed them for years but this locations is always a disaster. Not once or twice but every time I come here I have to overlook something. Whether it's the wrong order, awful service, or they just ran out of something I ordered. So this time I order from the drive thru and the person in front of me order was messed up so after 15 minutes I hear "here is your money back" then I get to pull up and everyone there is confused and doesn't know what I ordered. Finally, like sometimes, I give up and drive to another location about 10 minutes away. So if you have the craving for Panera save yourself the start of a bad day. Drive 10 minutes away and you will leave a happier person.

They decided to close early without updating their website or phone tree (that prevents them from actually talking to people). Hope this new exciting menu is worth losing the 10 customers you've lost while I've been complaining on social media.

I don't often eat at Panera in Hendersonville and now I know why. Eating area is completely trash covered and no one in the 30 minutes that I've been here has bothered to do any cleaning of carpet or tables. Orders were almost right when we got them so we had to have them corrected. I won't come back but thanx for the free wifi while I throw shade at ya

"We only serve potato soup on Mondays and Wednesdays...and on Tuesdays we wear pink!" OK, I made that last part up, but what gives with the totally random soup schedule? I came here on a cold day after thinking about how good a cup of potato soup would have been all afternoon, but unfortunately my craving and the cold weather arrived on a Sunday. Why is potato soup rationed to two totally random days during the week, while I see the same other lame-o soups up on the menu every time I walk through the door? I should note, all Panera's I've been to seem to play this game of musical soups, but I don't have the time or patience to keep up with each location's schedule. Maybe the company need's some sort of soup tracker app, or they could simply not continue to disappoint their customers by offering their full menu every day of the week. What a novel idea, eh?

The food is fine, but the service is a real Mickey Mouse operation. Evening waits are very long, especially in the drive-thru when there are only a couple of cars in line. Requests for what bakery items are met with flippant responses and you have to ask to make sure you actually get them with the rest of your order.

Food is a 5, but service is lacking sometimes. Make sure you order is correct. You microwave yourself and water cups are by the water. This will save you an eye roll from the workers.

I'm not the biggest fan of Panera Bread. I know the markup of these chains and I hate to pay 10X more for food than what I can make myself. This place's atmosphere, the type of people in the store and their customer service is what I pay for.

What can I say? I'm addicted to Panera. This is not a bad one. The Panera on West End Avenue has claimed the Number One Spot in my heart, but this one is just fine. Good food, good service. I have no problem substituting this one when I'm staying in town for the day.

It's panera. That means it's neither good nor bad. It is what it is meant to be, and that's fine.

Prepare for a long stay at this Panera. In the evening, I've never received my food in less than 10 minutes. The employees are quite slow, and it seems that they don't want to make an effort to move the service along. The food is typical Panera, if you're in to that sort of thing.

Oh everyone already knows all about Panera. It is great - salads, soups, breads, sweets, everything. Plus a frequent flier card where you get free stuff and discounts all the time. Try their current steak salad - it is pretty good! Anyway, this location up in Hendersonville is in what appears to be a shopping and dining enclave near the highway and right down the street from the hospital. So it has convenient location! Plus this place is HUGE! I mean, forget those other ones that are all packed out during the lunch rush - this place had plenty of room for everyone. Plus patio seating! Looks like it would be a good place for groups to even meet up, that's how roomy this place was.

Been here twice, a bit expensive but the bread and food are top notch! Plenty of room, dive through and they give you a buzzer to alert you when your foods ready! Very nice job!

convenient with consistently good stuff and a long wait - drive thru or inside - even when it's not that busy...

Panera Bread you may ask is a place just like Starbucks but it serve's food. My 2 cents is it's over priced and not that good at all.

Love Panera! Love the low fat Strawberry Smoothies and Cinnamon Crunch bagel.....I tell myself it's a great breakfast with the low fat smoothie :)....kinda like diet coke and french fries. This place is always packed, the salads and soup are to die for. Internet access so you can spend you day eating and networking with your locals. The staff has always been friends; fast service whether you come in or go to the drive thru. Prices are reasonable, a touch high but worth the price....get what you pay for!
