Love this chain! I usually go to the location on Park. It was my first time eating at this one. Food was awesome as expected. Ordered my usual veggie pizza with feta and anchovies added (don't judge!!). I have to say I much preferred this location. It was larger and much brighter! Loved the layout of the place. It was very pleasant to sit there as opposed to the much darker restaurant on Park. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive. Definitely coming here again!

My review is only for takeout as I haven't dined in this memphis pizza cafe yet. However, I thought their take out service was great. I placed an order over the phone and it was ready when I arrived. The cashier was very friendly and polite. I ordered two calzones and half of a Greek salad. Everything was delicious! I will be back to try something else

Caesar salad was nice, pizza good and hot. Well worth the visit but don't look for ambiance. High school hang out.

I really like this pizza. It has a nice thin crispy crust. I wish they delivered in Getmantown. The salads are simple and plain. The servers could be more attentive but that pizza is just plain deliscious. My he dough is flattened into a pie shape by machine, it isn't hand tossed but they can get the crust as thin as a cracker and I like that. I want to go back.

First time visit to MPC very cute inside with easy parking. Server Jordan greeted us promptly menus on the table made it easy to order a slice of veggie and a diet coke with a half dinner salad. The crust was thin and crispy with a nice sweet sauce and loaded with fresh veggies including spinach! It was tasty and a great portion for lunch. Price total with tip less than $11. You can't beat that!

This is the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life, and I am a pizza fanatic. The crust is crisp and tasty with the perfect texture. The sauce has a wonderful flavor and is always on there in the right proportion. The cheese melts here in a way that it doesn't on other pizzas and I don't know what they're using but its awesome. And the pepperoni is always just a little bit spicy to give it that perfect punch of flavor. When I go with other people, they usually order the cajun chicken and they say its excellent. I don't eat chicken but I've seen multiple people eat this and talk about how wonderful it was. The calzones are also very yummy. Gooey, cheesy, and in that perfect crust with sauce on the side. If you want pizza, unless you're into chicago style, do not miss out on this place! I live in Los Angeles now and I miss it all the time. Every time I fly home this is the first thing I want when I get off the plane.

Great veggie pizza and service. Horrible that one of the staff (black hair, beard, glasses, late twenties, avg build) sat at the bar on his break with his nasty, hairy, a** crack hanging out for all the customers. Disgusting excuse for a person.

My family LOVES Memphis Pizza Cafe or as we affectionately call it, "MPC". They serve thin crust pizza only and its huge on flavor. Our go-to is the Ultimate Cheese pizza to which my wife and I are always fighting for the last slice. My only recommendation is for them to add some appetizers like mozzarella sticks or other fare. The only somewhat-of-an appetizer are their salads. Their Greek salad is to die for. You won't be disappointed!!

The staff was very friendly and never stopped smiling. The food was incredible. The marinara was steaming hot and everything was fresh.

I love this place. Yes it is best in Memphis. I've been around the world and have found no better. Well worth the trip.

Let me first say, my boyfriend and I love MPC. He is friends with the guy that manages the Overton Square location. He takes care of us every time we go and runs a great staff. At the Germantown location, things are a little different. Still great food, the reason we keep coming back, but lacking in staff attentiveness. Being that him and I have served and been in the restaurant business for the past 7 years it is very hard to not notice when a customer isn't being taken care of. Every time we go to this location it seems really hard to get noticed when we seat ourselves. I just wish their servers pushed themselves a little bit harder. Anyways, if that kind of thing doesn't bother you then don't let this review stop you from going to MPC in Germantown. I do have to say it might stop us from going to this location...

Our family gets takeout from here all the time although we have dined in as well. My favorite is the Alternative pizza- so delicious and craveable! The thin crust is always cooked to perfection. Fast takeout service.

I enjoy this place. The Hey Meat! pizza is pretty darn tasty. They are rather quick with take out orders too. The one draw back is that the pizza does not re-heat very well. Other than that, great job.

I found a long curly black hair in my drink & was not comforted by the Managers response "that it doesn't happen very often" & "Our owner doesn't make us wear hair or beard nets". Dirty ball caps are good enough, I guess. If a gross experience is your dining goal, this is the place.

Shut the front door! When I found out that there was a Memphis Pizza Cafe within driving distance to where I lived, I was doing back flips! The pizza they have there is always awesome! This was my second visit, and we had ordered a half BBQ / half Cajun Chicken. Let me tell you that the Cajun Chicken is awesome... but the BBQ? That is out of this world good! The crust that this place uses is great; it is thin, yet has that crunch that makes the pizza so unique out of every other pizza I have tasted before. The server was great, and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a pizza parlor. Nothing too fancy, but it's the food that keeps customers coming back for more!

For thin crust, it's the spot in town. Their beer selection goes well with their selection. The slim pie can hold a good amount of toppings, and their salads aren't that shabby either.

Love the gluten free options. They taste exactly like the regular version and are awesome!!!! This is now our go to for gluten free pizza.

A good pizza option in Germantown, TN (Memphis Suburb). Anything you get will be good and they have many beer options. This is also a great option for families...very kid friendly. I recommend their calzones...they are very big and you can get any ingredient you like! Also good pizza, subs, and salads...this place stays crowded so be prepared for a wait.

I had heard mixed reviews about the restaurant chain, but this location was great. We took friends from out of town to the restaurant and they loved it. Friendly service and good food-we are looking forward to returning. We even had a gluten allergy in our party and they offered gluten free pizza. After we tried dine in, we visited a second time and took our food to go and had a great experience then too. We are firm believers in providing positive feedback when the opportunity presents. Thanks for the great service!

Awesome pizza. I had the authentic Greek pizza and it was great. Service was fantastic and as my son noted, it's as if she knows us, speaking of our your server Lauren. We will be back on our next visit which will be soon!

I went here for lunch after craving pizza for several days. I was totally unimpressed. The pizza crust wasn't fresh made and the cheese was almost non-existant. Service was friendly but it took an inordinate amount of time to get my individual pizza. Haven't found a good pizza in Memphis yet.

I heard how great the pizza is here and decided to check it out. Not impressed. I ordered half Cajun chicken/ half beef and it tasted very bland. No flavor, nothing special about it. Sadly, the crust was the best part of the pizza. I highly doubt if I'll return anytime soon.

This is the best pizza in town, we have tried it several times. They are consistent with flavor, lots of toppings & the staff have been helpful & courteous. Family comes to town we take them here.

This might be blasphemous since this place was voted best pizza in Memphis for 17 years running, but I am not a fan. I thought the sauce was too sweet. I normally like the flavor of the cheese and toppings so here I thought the sauce was overwhelming. The dough was thin crust. This is fine with me, but I thought it was too bread like. It just didn't do anything for me. I also had a half Greek salad, I made a rookie vegetarian mistake and didn't read the ingredients list. Olives, Feta, and peppers were expected; salami was not. It was a huge annoyance and once taken out, I had a pretty sad salad. The dressing was "Italian" type and just wasn't a good match. I much more prefer Mellow Mushroom. My recommendation would be to head there.

Love Memphis Pizza Cafe- we frequent this one due to being close to home. Calzones are delicious, kid friendly, if we order an entire pizza and the kids order a piece they'll bring the kids out early- or bring them crackers to hold them. Have loved it since I was a college student in the early 1990s.

This is a good local pizza joint. It's been voted the best in the area for 10+ years. I think it is probably well known since they have several locations vs it being the best pizza you will ever have. But, it's not bad considering we are not in Chicago or NY. The crust is crispy and thin and they have a few different types to choose from. You can order by the slice which is nice when you are with a group. Everyone gets what they want. I usually go for the chicken BBQ with a salad. The prices are right and the service is always friendly.

One of my favorite pizzas in Memphis. I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza and that's what you get here. I love the BBQ pizza, but you can't go wrong with a standard pepperoni pizza. I also like their Greek salad. The guys in the back all seem to be retro '80's fans which lines right up with my actual past.

Pizza has usually been our favorite in the area, but service on to go orders has been terrible our last two tries. Last was told 45 minutes on a Friday night, but After that 45 and another 10 waiting in the restaurant it was still not ready.

Better as sandwhich shop than a pizza place. I dont know what has happened. I used to LOVE MPC, but this trip was mildly disappointing. Two things make a good pizza; sauce and crust. The crust was grerat, but the sauce lacked and flavor profile at all. The blackenend chicken sandwhich was wonderful, as was the italian. Dont go hungry, because it does tend to take a while. Pick up a togo menu and call ahead

The perfect crispy crust and an excellent variety of toppings. I love odd toppings, so I got a pizza with Blackened Chicken, [Red] Onion, Spinach, Pineapple, Cheddar, and Mozzarella. It was perfect :)

We don't usually eat in here anymore - too many kids and/or loud teenagers. Besides, other than salads, they don't have much option of appetizers. Not that it's a bad thing but when it's crowded and you know your pizza's gonna' take awhile, you kind of want something to munch on... their chef's salad is yummy :) I like their cafe supreme pizza while the husband likes the cajun chicken pizza. Thin nondescript crust but fresh toppings. No complaints. It's pizza. Like the husband says... pizza is like sex - even bad pizza is good pizza LOL

Memphis Pizza Cafe is a no frills pizza joint that offers about 6 different types of specialty pies, with the option to add toppings to the basic cheese pizza. The crust was pretty crispy considering the number of different toppings on my Cajun Chicken Pizza. Salads, sandwiches, and a calzone round out the menu. This location of the Metro Memphis area chain is in the Saddle Creek Mall area, which makes it a great place to grab a bite before an afternoon of shopping.

Right up front- I grew up in the Boston area, home of Greek Pizza and great pizza. I married an Italian from Long Island. We know pizza. On a scale of 1-5 this pizza rates a 2 in my book. Really no better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. However, I will say it is a great family restaurant. I always prefer local/small chains over national ones and this was no exception. If I want to eat pizza for cheap, I'd rather go here than Pizza Hut even if the pizza is not stellar quality.
