    This may be a time of day issue. My girlfriend goes here every day on her way to work and reports consistently good service. They just did not have their stuff together when I visited. They tried to tell me I could not get my sandwich the way I get at every other location. The manager was came out and showed the cashier how to ring in my order, and explained how to melt a piece of cheese on a chicken salad sandwich. After much debate, m food was prepared properly. That being said, I will probably be stopping back here, due to geographics. I hope to have something better to report.

    I am so glad I recently went to the Gatlinburg DD. Now I can go to any other DD without fear because this is the worst one on the planet!!! We arrived at 7:45 (store open at 7) to find only a few donuts sitting out. "Oh wow" I said "did you already sell out?" "No we have a new cook and he's slow" "Do you have any croissant donuts like you advertise on the door?" "No we are out...not sure we will get anymore our manager is the worst!" "What do you have?" She throws her hands up and says "I'm not even sure...what you see is what you get I guess!" The worker continued to complain about working there and told us all her problems. We were in the restaurant for about 30 minutes getting our to go donuts at which point the cook brings out five donuts of a new flavor. My favorite comment of the day however came when we paid. "We are out of receipt paper so I can write you a receipt, but that would just mean more work for me." Needless to say though we stayed nearby all week we did not go back. Clearly one of the Ds at this store should stand for disappointment.

    What a terrible experience. I was in line behind a couple of other people. Two people were working, neither one of whom acknowledged entering customers. We all just waited and waited while those two people just ignored the customers at the counter. How hard is it to say "hey" or "I'll be with you in just one moment?" One was counting the register and I don't know what the other was doing. She disappeared. I understand that maybe they had stuff to do, but not looking at your customers or even acknowledging that they exist is just rude. I waited over 15 minutes just to pay for two waters, and when I finally got to the register, I was totally ignored-no acknowledgment whatsoever that I was there and waiting to pay. The one girl finally looked up from whatever she was doing and curtly asked said, "that it?" In my opinion, nobody working that shift today should be working in the service industry. They have absolutely no idea of what "customer service" entails. I will be back to Gatlinburg, but you can bet that I'll never be back at this place. No donut is worth that kind of treatment.

    Without hesitation, I can say that I've never seen a level of absolute incompetence and arrogance from any service staff as I've encountered here. Don't come here - don't, don't, don't. 1. It's terribly messy. Tables are barely cleaned, and there are flies all over the place. Seriously, I've been to restaurants in rural India that are cleaner. 2. We came at 8:45 AM and found that practically half the items on the menu were out of stock. How can you be a breakfast location and be out of plain bagels and half your bagel/donut varieties so early in the morning? 3. It took us forever to place our order; the cashier simply didn't know how to work a cash register. And, if you didn't space out your requests more than 15 seconds apart, you received a very rudely stated, "Not yet." 4. The staff messed up my order - I received a bagel that was not sliced, did not have cream cheese, and had not been toasted. WTF - I could've gotten that at the gas station down the street! When I asked the staff to fix it, they said, "You must have taken someone else's bag." Considering every other item in that bag was ours as we ordered it, I'm inclined to disagree, and politely informed them as such. The manager proceeded to insist that it was my fault and that I shouldn't take others' orders ... Yeah. She then *threw* me a knife and bagel and told me to do it myself, relenting only when im insisted that it be fixed. All the while behind the counter very audibly saying, "He took the wrong bag; it's a load of BS." I would not even come here if they handed out breakfast for free. Service and cleanliness is that miserable. The manager should be fired and DD should be embarrassed to put its name on this place. Go anywhere else. Really.

    Should of read post from other people....waited extremely long for a cup of coffee... Worker had her unlit cigarette resting on a table while she waited in people

    Avoid! Poor service, and there's a Starbucks across the street. Staff is slow, ran out of lids at 9am. Chairs all up on tables at 9am, when asked if we could sit...told no. Should have listened to previous reviewers...

    The guy making our bagel toasted it, put it in a bag, then threw it to us skidding across the counter. He was clearly pissed about something but it was highly unprofessional. This place is just about as bad as it gets from everything else I've read.

    If give it a zero. Service was the worst. Omg 25mins for a cup of coffee . Hire more workers mr. Owner. Don't waste your time here

    Awful. Not clean, trash cans were over flowing. They were almost out of everything and it was 10am. Staff was not friendly. All around bad service. Disappointing.

    Tables were not cleaned. Restrooms were dirty and smelly. I asked for a cup of water, I was told, "we don't do that", even if I wanted to pay for it. Really?
