Service and food were okay, but both definitely left something to be desired. I chose this place because of their soy cheese options. When I began ordering a pizza with soy cheese, the waitress left the table and came back with a piece of paper that she shoved in my face and said I had to read if we were ordering soy cheese because of allergies. I was more than fine with her showing me the disclaimer, but the way in which it is was done was irritating. We finished our order and waited. The waitress then proceeded to walk over to the counter and yell to the guy in the back asking if they had any soy cheese. It made me wonder about the place because soy cheese is advertised on the website and all over the menu. When we got our pizzas, ours came out round. The disclaimer said any soy pizzas would be square to differentiate them. Our pizzas were average (we ordered one with regular cheese, too), but we will try another place next time.

Went here because the ratings were so great. Unfortunately the pizza we had was not. The restaurant itself was very clean and a nice environment with friendly staff. However, our pizza tasted very similar to the $1 totinos pizza you can buy at the grocery store. . .that was fine for my college days but I really aim for a higher taste standard when I'm eating pizza out. To be fair we had a simple ground beef pizza. . .which is my favorite so I know it can taste great. We did see other pizzas brought to other tables that looked a little better than ours but we didn't venture to those strangers and ask for a taste so I can't speak for the quality of their food either.

From the first sip of the awesome iced tea, I tasted awesomeness. We chose the bruschetta for a starter and it was delicious because the bread was warm and toasted and oh so soft. The tomatoes and onions and basil were perfectly combined. The swirl of balsamic on the bread was just enough. We decided on a small meatball pizza and it was just enough for me and my hubs who's a big eater. So the food was top notch. The attentiveness of our server was excellent. The only real complaint I have is that it seemed a bit expensive. I would definitely return here. They topped off my tea and gave me a to-go cup to boot!

Service- so great, seriously, she did a great job, attentive, friendly and professional but never intrusive. Nice! We loved the wings, should've gotten the larger order as we were licking our fingers and looking for more. The Carnivore pizza was good but we did order it with extra sauce and cheese and couldn't tell there was either. We'd definitely go again I few were in Gatlinburg again.

Superb selection of different food options. We had the carnivore pizza and it was loaded with all the meats. The service was fast and very courteous.

We had dined at the Sevierville location on our way to Gatlinburg and the pizza was so good my husband and kids wanted it again. However, the Gatlinburg location was awful! The pizza was greasy and soggy, and most of it ended up in the trash. Parking is limited to about a 20 space lot that is shared with another restaurant. This location cured me and my family of any pizza cravings we were having.

Great pizza. Dough Daddies were yummy! Really good marinara sauce. Pizza crust is thin and crispy

  • Clark D.

Boo Boo Bomber is excellent. Crunchy thin crust, quality pepperoni and cheese, tasty sauce. I have also had a few of their special pizzas, but to be honest, the more toppings the less I liked it. Sticking with Boo Boo next time we're in town

  • Amy L.

I think it is the best pizza in Gatlinburg. It is thin and delicious! Wood burning stove. Also had the chicken Ceasar. Dressing and croutons were so good. Jennifer was our server and was super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Very good pizza and wings. Service was friendly and fast and a great respite from a quick rain shower.

Great pizza and the strawberry cannolis were amazing!!! The wait staff were friendly. We would go again if it wasn't our last day here.

  • Michael D.

like fold-over, wood-fire charred pizza? this is the place...you aren't buying bread here...you are buying fresh marinara, free mozz-provolone, fresh air toppings pizza. Friday all-day is BOGO ON PIZZAS SUBS!

  • Yanira R.

Everyone was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Service was really fast. Kids loved making their own desserts with pizza dough, and they were so happy with the place that they kept talking about coming back. It has its own parking and is at a nice location in Gatlinburg. Is a great place for families and we highly recommend it!

Pizza was really good but Definetly over-priced. Their large pizzas are what most places would call medium. We had 2 large pizzas, 2 soft drinks, the rest had water, and an appetizer and the bill was over 60$. Needless to say the 6 of us left very hungry. Over 20$ a pie is just too much, but again it was really good just way too expensive. If you are really hungry drive down the road to cici's pizza and get satiated.

Ate here several times while visiting Gatlinburg, TN. Everything is fabulous and unique. Loved the buffalo wings pizza and prime rib pizza oh and the house salad dressing

  • Derrick B.

Good pizza and friendly service. Garlic knots are good as a starter. Wife had the Italian sandwich served hot and loved it. Great place for kids here. Would eat here again

Of course the service is perfect here first being friendly and fast Fars the pizza it self it's also excellent. It is made in a brick wood fire oven which gives it excellent flavor.we were down here for the weekend and and had it twice just because it was so good. The pizza sauce and the crust was my wife's favorite part of the pizza and why we went back a second time.both times we ordered the Mama Mia pizza and loved it!

Thanks to all you Yelpers, the fella and I decided to hit this place after a loooong hike. Maybe we were just tired and sore, but this place hit the spot! The fella got a local (Knoxville) IPA on a whim, and he was pleasantly surprised, and I stuck with a refreshing Dr. Pepper. Then we split a 10" Carnivore, which was 8 small pieces of pizza topped with all the meats! We ate every bit of it. YUM! I always say it's hard to mess up pizza, but it's not easy to make it great, and this pizza was pretty darn good. Throw in an attentive waitress, and some toothpicks and mints with the bill, and I'm a fan!

    (4)
  • Maggie B.

Honestly, the pizza is mediocre but acceptable? I can't say it was bad, but it does follow the Gatlinburg food trend of the price and quality being fairly far out of sync. Given some of our other food experiences, I was almost pleased it wasn't more disappointing. We did carry out, so I can't comment on the place itself or service, but parking was fairly easy. And for the record, what's up with this part of the country putting red onions on their pizza instead of white? Not that there's anything wrong with that really, but apparently white onions do not exist here. And they certainly don't go on pizza. (??)

  • Lynn Z.

Ordered the small Tuscan a Pizza and it was pretty good. Nice thin crust. Toppings on the pizza didn't just slide off like most places. Also ordered the house salad with the house dressing. (Gorgonzola vinegarette). Nice size salad for the price. Fresh ingredients. Atmosphere blah but then again it's just a pizza joint. Service was good. Bargain hunters....Check coupon books and maps for discounts on your meal. If you don't have any coupons don't worry. Average pricing for meals so won't break the bank. Would recommend.

Party of seven at approx. 730pm. Service was good, food arrived really fast and was really good. Although not the best pizza we have ever had. Price in my opinion was high, but probably a result of the tourist area. But three 14" pies, 3 salads, 4 beers and 5 soft drinks shouldn't consume an entire $100 in my opinion. Little pricey!! They did have a guy going around making kids made to order balloons, and letting them toss pizza dough if they wished to try. Pretty cool for kids!!

Big Daddy's Pizza is totally amazing. We spent 30 mins searching through the different pizza joints in Gatlinburg and finally made the decision to try Big Daddy's, we were not disappointed in no Form or fashion. The pizza was delicious and the service was totally outstanding. If you visit Big Daddy's I hope your waitress is Jaymeca, she went over and above to make us feel welcome and her service was always with a smile and a laugh which is very important to my wife Kim and I. We give Big Daddy's an A+ We loved it and will be back to see Jaymeca. David & Kim Houston

Service was excellent. Food was prepared quickly and well. The "Grandgirls" loved their cheese pizza and us carnivore "grown folk" chowed down on a pizza loaded with meat. A delicious way to cap off a long day of travel with 3 generations!

  • Ashley B.

Awesome pizza! Totally hit the spot. The pizza is excellent with the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. A group of four of us ordered a large cheese pizza, plain and simple, and it was great. Reminded us of Frank's Pizza in Houston, TX where our group was visiting from. Perfect amount of pizza for four of us. I highly recommend this place. The price is a little expensive at a little over $15 for the one pizza but it's exactly what we were craving so give it a try, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Anybody have a clue why the tv's state something along the lines "it is against the law to have the volume on the tv?" I'd really be curious to hear this one. Pizza was good The size of their wings.....they should be ashamed of themselves. Beyond small. My 6 year old could have eaten a dozen no problem. Service was pretty good. Free parking outside.

Ate here with my husband and mother-in-law. We asked to sit outside, as it was nice and cool. The manager seated is, and said he would make sure we were well taken care of. Our waitress, Ashley, was by far the best waitress ever!! We ordered a salad to share with their house dressing, great! For an appetizer, my husband ordered the dough with marinara, great! Our main meal was a pizza, 1/2 Mamma Mia, and the other 1/2, sausage & pepperoni, also great!! If you go to Gatlinburg, this restaurant is a must try!! Service and food are both excellent!!!

I will start off by saying that I can be a picky eater, especially when it comes to pizza. My husband wanted to have some pizza while on our honeymoon and we decided to try this place. We are both SO glad that we did! We came after 8:30 PM and were seated immediately. Our server, Jaymeca, was very friendly and attentive, always making sure we had plenty to drink and that everything was fine. My husband and I split a 14-inch pizza. I had cheese and pineapple on my half, and he had cheese with pepperoni and Canadian bacon on his. The pizza was delicious!!! And the crust? No dipping sauces needed. I usually dab my crust in Parmesan cheese, but this crust was plenty good on its' own. As for dessert? As soon as I saw that they offered s'mores, I knew I was in for it. I made sure to save room for them and I'm glad I did. Soo amazing! The restaurant was clean and quiet at the time of night that we visited, and the music wasn't overbearing or annoying. My husband and I were highly satisfied with Big Daddy's and given the chance, will come back!! Wish we had one in Tampa. Thank you, Jaymeca, for making our first trip to Big Daddy's a memorable one!!

Three locations in the area. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, & Sevierville. Ordered the specialty-Margherita. Overall okay. Good crust. Sauce a little on the bland side. Biggest issue was the price. Over $16 for a 10" pie, which is way over priced. But it is a tourist area so guess that contributes to the inflated prices. Would give it another shot, I suppose. After pay day, of course! Haha

  • Kelli E.

The food was overpriced but that's to be expected in this area. We had the Tuscan pizza. It was good but it was $19.99 for a 14" pizza. The canoli was really good!! The house dressing, Gorgonzola vinaigrette, was delicious!

  • Doug W.

This was ok. This is a basic tourist pizza place. They serve basic pizza and you can modify them with add ons. I thought the prices were a bit high but it's on the main street of a tourist trap town so it wasn't that bad really. The pizzas were ok. Nothing special but no problem either. It was very noisy with 80s music blasting in the dining room and for some whacky reason they seated us right next to the kitchen which had some other music blasting. The service was spotty despite it being slow. Again, not bad, not great. They have parking which is a rarity in this town. It's right next to the tram station with parking in the back. Good for families and anyone wanting pizza. There is a bbq restaurant attached to it as well so you could probably split up.

Nice pizza, pretty good service. Get the dough daddies.

Great service and excellent food. Everything is fresh never frozen and flavor is perfect. A little hard to find the Gatlinburg location but worth the effort.

Appetizers are so yummy!! We loved the Spinach Artichoke dip and Bruzetta.. Wings are finely fried and pizzas were good as well.. However being a busy place you can expect food a bit delayed.

  • Adam C.

Super thin crust pizza. Very very salty, just over all not good. Dough daddies were like hockey pucks. Too hard and like chewing on beef jerky. No way they were fresh, seemed like they had been sitting all day and just got warmed up. It was empty in the dining room, so I would guess that is the case. We ate one a piece and one piece of pizza each and left to find better food. The worst part, the waitress and manager didn't even notice we barely ate our food and didn't ask for a box.

    (1)
  • Derek M.

Asked around for the best pizza around and we were directed here. Great pizza. Had to wait a bit for our waitress but other than that we enjoyed our visit. The meatball and "dough daddies" appetizers were fantastic. We could smell the pizza around us before we even sat down. It smelled and tasted amazing. A must visit for anyone in Gatlinburg looking for a slice.

Delicious wood fire pizza! The crust was perfect as we bit into it, chewy dough with crispy crust. Yummmm!! Our server was very informative as to the local happenings.learned about the FREE WHISKY AND MOONSHINE tastings up and down Parkway in Gatlinburg!

Pizza was good, salads were great with their homemade dressing. Sit on the patio & watch the tram go overhead. GREAT service, from both the manager and our waitress. Best service we had on our trip. We actually went to Volunteer Pizza before deciding on Big Daddy's (Yelp gave Volunteer a slightly higher rating), but Volunteer had 1 car in the lot... didn't have the warm and fuzzy. Glad we wound up here and will come back next time in town.

  • Rob L.

The dough daddies were unbelievable. They were much larger than we anticipated and ended up getting a box to take some home so that we had room for pizza. That was a good call because the boo boo bomber was delicious. Not to thick. Not to thin. Just right. And of course the Mt. Dew was phenomenal.

  • George B.

Great Wood Fired Pizza! The only draw back is they don't deliver anymore! the specialty pizza are good too! The Boo Pepperoni and The Carnivore Pizzas are whatever had, dough made fresh everyday!

Delicious brick oven pizza. Conveniently located within walking distance of The Hilton. Very friendly staff with excellent customer service! Can't wait to go back!

Super fast delivery! Super friendly on the phone. The reason for only 4 stars is because I thought the crust would be a little thicker looking at other pictures. Pizza hit the spot anyway.

Great pizza! Order the bee sting . Whoever thought of Honey on pizza is BRILLIANT!!!!!

Clean and very helpful servers. Not very Two wood fires brick ovens cook up your orders. Very flexible with orders but you pay for the changes. Approx 20 min from order to delivery. I got the Pizza to go. Pizza was good - very nice thin crust NY style.

Great service and food. Server was knowledgeable about area and friendly. Dough daddy appetizer was delicious. Sandwiches awesome and pizza good. Would definitely go back.

  • Derek B.

Really good and really quick. Same sweet tea as Bennett's (adjoined) - which is an amazing thing. Service leaves something to be desired not terrible just not as good as we wanted. Price is a little steep for what it is and the menu is basically a knock off of Mellow Mushroom but the quality is better in our opinion. Definitely suggest getting the dough daddies as a starter.

A little gem tucked away off the main drag nestled in the mountains. Homemade everything marinara to dipping sauces to dough. We tried the pizza rolls for an appetizer with garlic honey sauce. Amazing!!! So tender sweet n savory. The pizza was awesome. We had half big kahuna (Hawaiian) and this other one with chicken white sauce cheeses and fresh tomatoes. Wonderful! Fresh and delicious. Only one street away from the main drag near the river. You won't be disappointed.

We have been looking for good pizza up here for years. We finally found it.the pizza was baked in a fire stone oven the crust was delicious. Plenty of toppings . just had a great taste. Place was clean and good music as well.

Very friendly staff on probably what was Gatlinburg's slowest Sunday night in early January. The crust was very well baked but lacked any flavor at all - unless you thrive on Zesta crackers. We got a BBQ 4 U, a BBQ sauced pizza with chicken, bacon, red peppers and cheese. The sauce was very weak (even though they share the building with Bennett's BBQ) and there was not much of it. The chicken was plentiful yet it too lacked much flavor, the bacon on the other hand was a bit too smokey for my liking ( and I am a BIG bacon fan!) and the peppers added nothing to the mix All in all just an average pizza similar to one from the freezer. They have all the rest down, service, decor, even the prices weren't too bad, just bring the flavor profiles into line...

  • Hollie Durant R.

It was just okay. The cost to value was not worth it. We spent a lot of money but I was not pleased. The waitress and staff was nice but the food was blah. I had 1 large pepperoni pizza and a half cheese and pepperoni. I also had the wings. All was just OK. I spent almost $60 for little Cesears quality. I would have gave it a higher rating if I had of spent $20 but not this for sixty.

  • Michele G.

We had high hopes for this place when we found out it was brick oven but unfortunately not very good. The wings and the garlic daddy bites on the appetizer menu were really good. The pizza was not very good and the primo sandwich horrible . Huge amounts of bread for the sandwich and hardly any meat. If only they would learn how to use the brick oven the pizza could be great. Crust is flimsy with no taste . I'll give some stars for the appetizers but 0 for the rest

In town visiting from Chicago.Ordered 2 meatlovers a pepperoni and cheese pizzas. All excellent! !! Flavor was awesome and would recommend. We'll have to try the BBQ next!

  • David S.

Pricing was fair but the pizza arrived before salads... kitchen communication?? Server forgot to put the order for the salads in... not cool since that my entree. Then they didn't know what salads we ordered. Chicken on the Salad tasted like lunch meat. Pizza was good. They did take care of the issue so I give them kudos for that. Very friendly staff. Canoli was excellent.

  • Stephanie C.

OMG this place was so good. Our waitress was attentive, helpful and the restaurant was very clean. My girlfriend and I ordered a large pizza with spinach artichoke sauce and mozzarella and provolone cheese. We also got honey butter to dip our crust in. It was so yummy and amazing. I almost think we could have ordered another. Had chocolate chips canolies to finish it off. Such a good experience!

Wonderful pizza. Fast service and not crowded. Kids get to make their own cinnamon bread. The dough roll appetizers were soooo yummy! Neat pizza combos or make your own.

  • Ivan M.

Best pizza around. Wood fired and gourmet flavors make this a stand out pie apart from the chains on the main strip. Staff is service oriented, a welcome and refreshing note we didn't really experience on the strip. Exceptional for Gatlinburg.

  • Kelvin P.

Great pizza! My wife is a pizza freak and she said it was the best she ever had! Service could have been better though. Great experience overall!

We were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. The waitress was friendly and took our order shortly thereafter. The pizza was delivered hot to our tables. It tasted okay - nothing memorable but not bad either. During the course of the meal, the hostess and waitress both checked on us and asked us if we needed refills on our drinks. In summary, good service but okay food....
