Had lunch there today with my wife. Monday and Friday are Fajitas lunch special. $6.99. The steak fajitas came out sizzling and were outstanding. This is not the first time we've had the fajitas and they have always been great. Taco salad is less successful. Service is great.

A great place for Mexican food. The staff work hard and are friendly and deferential. They've got a great patio, which regrettably fronts on the busiest street around. The food quality is consistent, the prices are great, there is plenty of parking.

Food is seriously lousy. Nothing of quality is made in 90 seconds. Sadly, the service was unfriendly and overall just an unpleasant and rushed experience.

We go here a lot. The staff is friendly and kind. The food is not out of this world but good enough. I'm glad they edited their menu. Price is excellent.

I eat here about 3-4 times a month and their food is always awesome! I travel often, so I have tried Mexican food at a countless number of places, including some very high end mexican restaurants, but Dos is still ranked number 1 in my book! I've *never had a bad experience while dining here.

Standard Mexican fare. Staff has a good attitude and you get plenty to eat. Great place for a family or group that wants to relax and eat. There is outside seating, but it is by a busy road.

This is one of my go to spots in Gallatin to eat. Mainly because I love Mexican food (well Tex-Mex really) and this place is cheap and their food and margaritas are good. Plus they have a nice outdoor area. Only downside is the outdoor patio is fairly close to the main road and you hear a lot of cars.

A-Ok really sums it up. There were high and low points. Service was quick, though not really engaging. Chips and salsa were tasty and fresh. I especially enjoyed the pico de gallo. The margarita was a miss. Instead of the taste of orange liqueur, e.g., Grand Marnier, in the margarita, it was half orange juice. Kind of a turn off. I had a combination plate with an enchilada, tostaguac and beans. I expected a cheese enchilada but got one filled with very dry ground beef. No cheese even on top and the sauce was sweet. The same dry beef was on the tostaguac and the guacamole was a runny liquid. Thankfully the beans had good flavor and at least I saved some calories by not eating the rest... I wouldn't turn down a meal here, but I'll probably stick with El Rey Azteca in the future when craving Mexican food in Gallatin.

I give this place zero stars. My co-worker and I stopped in town for one night, and this place was close to the Hampton Inn where we were staying, so we decided to give it a try. MISTAKE!! By far the worst food I've had in a very long time. I travel over 200 days a year for work, and am very used to getting so-so food, but this place wins the prize for frozen, microwaved, horrible food. It was disgusting. My co-worker, who ordered something different than I did, agreed. It is frozen food, stuck in a microwave and served to you. I'll never go there again. STAY AWAY. I guess I can't leave zero stars, but if I could, I would.

Had a quick dinner here. The waitstaff was spot on. Our food came out quick, and at a great price. Though I did not go to the bar, they seemed to have a nice large set up for it. I am from SoCal so I expect a different Mexican from what I got, and that why I gave a three. However, I would encourage anyone to try, the staff was friendly, price was right, and food was good.

To say something about this restaurant that one wouldn't say about every other typical Mexican restaurant would take a lot of work. From the decor to the food to the drinks, everything screamed medium. Actually, screamed would be too strong a word. Spoke in a monotone would describe it better. The food was fine, the menu stereotypical. The margaritas obviously from a mix. The chips standard as was the salsa. Nothing great, nothing terrible. An OK place to eat or to meet for drinks.

As an expert on Mexican restaurants this place sorely misses the mark. Tried many times but just can't like it.

I love this place. They almost have your food out to your table before you order it they are so fast. The rice is the best I've had, and I love the Chimichanga. Chicken, of course.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
