A tiny cafe attached to the Bush's Visitor Center, across the street from a bean factory. It smells just as you would expect a bean factory to smell. Yech. But the cafe is very quaint, albeit small. One large group can take up an entire dining area, so prepare for a wait if you're behind anyone. We lucked out and got sat right away. And of course, the first thing they get you is a sample of the Beans of the Day! Awesome. Obviously they're canned baked beans, but I thought it was the neatest touch. I had chicken-fried steak (good!) with fries (disappointing) and BEANS (BEANS!!!). The wife had cornbread and beans. Cornbread was dry, beans were BEANS BEANS BEANS And of course there's the pinto bean/pecan pie. Get it. The mouthfeel is like beans, but there's only a touch of the flavor. It's all pecan pie. Very tasty, and definitely worth the Instagram photo you'll inevitably take. Lunch came to just over $20 for two entrees, drinks, and pie. Totally worth it.

She had chicken salad. Said very good. I had catfish add a piece which wasn't necesary. Giant pcs of fish lightly dusted with cornbread coating really good fried okra and green beans( canned nothing special. Peanut pie she had for dessert said was goid. Friend staff and server pretty crowed for lunch. Only open 11-4. Group of 30 came in at same time. Food was preety quick though. Prices are good. Under $10 for everything (except my add on) nice liitle place surprisingly good food

Stopped here on our way to Pigeon Forge. The museum, cafe and gift shop are done really well. No charge for the museum (which is very interesting....find out how much you weigh in beans) and at the end you can have your picture taken with Duke at no charge. Had lunch at the cafe which turned out to be pretty good food. My husband got country fried steak, green beans and mashed potatoes. I had the grilled chicken salad which was a huge portion and just what you would expect. I was so envious of my daughter's and my husband's mashed potatoes (I am not a huge fan of mashed potatoes) but I have to say, the stop was worth the flavor of the mashed potatoes alone. I don't know what was in them (possibly sour cream, butter, chives, ???), but they were DELICIOUS! Have the mashed potatoes.....just do it......and some peanut butter pie. Out of this world, crazy deliciousness right there in Dandridge, TN.

Today was my first ever vist to this place. While I thought the BBQ would be good, it tasted very cheap. I had to send my BBQ and sweet potato fries back numerous time, just to recieve a warm meal. I payed $10.99 for the BBQ Platter and it wasn't worth it at all. I was very disappointed with my meal as well as the service. The museum was alright but not what I thought it should have been. Save some time and money by going to another place for a meal.

Quant. Quiet. Simple. Friendly. Homey. I felt like I was eating at my grandmas' house. I honestly can't say enough about this little restaurant with their museum and Store attached. The atmosphere was one of relaxation and family. The food was simple and delicious. The staff treated you like family. The whole experience was one of "going home to Gramas" I don't think anyone there ever met a stranger. You won't get steaks and pasta here but you do get simple lunches that are served with amazing speed and simplicity. my husband had the club sandwich while I had beans and corn bread with a fried bolognae sandwich. Just the right amount of food they even us "to go" drinks. A must see and eAt. You won't be disappointed

Excellent food, very reasonable priced. They could charge a lot more for the quality and quantity. They have a "bean of the day" and they bring you a sample cup of it when you sit down.

Was very crowded when we went. Staff was very nice and helpful. We got seated quickly and food was served fast. I had the chili dogs which reminded me of a nice cookout meal. Very clean and pleasant time. They also served a free sample of beans. How could anyone. Be upset? :) The museum was a great piece of History. It's a fun and interactive tour. The video is good. It's only 20 minutes and worth it. It shows every 30 minutes. At the end you take a picture and they use a computer to add Duke. My daughter loves animals and really liked this picture. The man using it wasn't to familiar. He was older. However there is an option to send the photo to your phone or email. We asked if we could do it and he said absolutely. It's a fun little stop if your in the Smokeys.

Great place to eat. The sweet potato fries are to die for and the chicken salad sandwich was yummy. I just had to try a piece of the pinto bean pecan pie and it was good but so so sweet. You can't beat the prices and service was excellent.

The food is decent and simple. Normal sized portions. Very clean cafe and very friendly staff. The sweet potato fries are really great. The pinto pecan pie is good, but personally I would prefer more pecans. At the beginning of the meal, the wait staff brings a sampling of the bean of the day. It's a good way to try the food and have a light snack before the meal. I tried the country fried steak, which was good. I had the gravy on the side because I do not care for white gravy. The pulled pork BBQ wasn't bad either. Overall, the experience was a good one. Try the tour of the museum. It was fun for the whole family. The kids enjoyed the Paw Print Journey and the picture with Duke.

Excellent place for a family, great food, great prices. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are very responsible, only $20 for two people including an extra side and drinks.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Pigeon Forge (where we went for a little post-Christmas getaway). The museum was free and very informative- you learned a lot about the history of the beans and the process of canning them. We really like plants and learning about how things work, so we enjoyed the video and the tour of the museum. It's also very kid friendly if you have kids. There is a restaurant on site as well, looked nice and the prices were very reasonable but we were not hungry. You could also have your picture made with Duke the Baked Beans Dog for free, and the staff was extremely nice! You can tell they really love working there and are passionate about their jobs. This is definitely the place to stop on your way to or from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. There is a restaurant on site as well, looked nice and the prices were very reasonable but we were not hungry.

What a pleasant and unexpected stop on the road -- Museum, gift shop and cafe -- I'm still showing pictures and lamenting we couldn't send photos and Smellivision back home -- too bad they don't advertise the visitor center more -- great stop!!!

Fresh delicious food, friendly service. I had the hot turkey with true creamy swiss cheese. All their items come with their famous beans. The museum next door is free and fun. Loved the gift shop too!

Happened upon this place & the visitor center coincidentally. The food is very good & rather inexpensive. Had the baked spaghetti daily special, which tasted great. However, I would have preferred if it were baked a couple more minutes. The pinto bean pie caught my eye so I tried it. I'd get it again. The service was great.

Had lunch here after going through the visitor center. The visitor center had excellent displays that walk you through the history of Bush's beans. You start off watching a informative film, then walk through the museum. Like any museum, there is a store at the for you to pick up a souvenir. The store had lots of items with Bush's name on it, but also a good amount of quality merchandise that would make nice gifts. We walked over to the cafe to have lunch before leaving. Food was very good. As an appetizer, they bring out little bowls filled with the 'beans of the day' for each member in your party. Nice touch. I like to try food from the region, so I tried the Southern-Fried Bologna sandwich on white bread. Not bad! We had heard raves about their signature Pinto Bean Pecan Pie. (Made with Bush's Pinto Beans) We had to try this unique menu item, so we ordered one slice for the four of us to share. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't something that any of us would order again either. The cafe is a large room filled with tables, no booths, or partitions which made it very noisy, which is why they rate four stars. Other than that, this was a great stop, and one that I highly recommend.

Cafe: VERY VERy clean! The staff was very friendly, and I cannot comment enough on the cleanliness of this location and staff. Reasonable prices. Major thumbs up on this location. Visitor Center: Great little area. Again very clean and well kept. Very informative. The workers in this area were older gentlemen that were so kind and courteous. Mercantile: My favorite. Had a lot of novel Bush's baked beans items as well as non-bush's baked beans that had a definite "vintage" feel. Loved it. Again staff so courteous and friendly. It was nice to visit this little out of the way area - to feel a sense of calmness and down to "earthness". Would definitely go out of my way to visit this location again.
