One of my favorite Cookeville eateries. I eat here just about every Friday with a group from work and get the baby back ribs. The sides are always good, the bread is great, and they have the best happy hour in town. Bar has sports, and the back deck is great in warmer weather. Service is always fast and friendly, highly recommended!

My son and I went in over a month ago for lunch. Service was good food was great! Lunch specials were portioned good for the price. Love the variation in BBQ sauces!

Good food, good time! Bartender needs to go online and learn how to make a cocktail or remove that from the menu because their dirty martini was BAD. Beer was good. Great place for a family dinner.

Rib City in Cookeville is a restaurant that we will plan to drive 100 miles just to eat the food. IMO, the best ribs you'll eat; tender, moist and savory. You don't need sauce, but if that's your thing, the sauces offered are excellent as well. Chad and his team do it right every time.

Great ribs and chicken. Four different sauces to choose from: sugar sweet, vinegar base, mustard base and spicy barbecue. Good portion size. Waitress was great and the place is clean. Bring the family.

Wife had the rib lunch platter and I had the beef lunch platter. Good food and cleanliness. Waitress was very attentive. Food was served hot and prompt. Great service.

While visiting the area we decided to eat here because of all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, after our visit, we felt it was very much over rated. From an outward appearance, it has the hallmark cool look and vibe of a BBQ restaurant. However, the ribs were dry and had very little flavor as was the BBQ Beef. The best of them all was the BBQ Pork. Basically, we had to slather all of them down with one of their three sauces to add flavor. The baked beans were too soupy and nothing spectacular. It was definitely not worth the money. And get ready for all the up charges. Ranch dressing...an up charge, sweet potato fries as your side...an up charge. On a positive note however, our waitress was very nice and helpful, the place was clean and decorated nicely. I really wish the food had been better.

Rib City is a frequent stop for us with friends. The food is good, it always seems clean and service is fine. If I could change one thing they do it would be the crazy "upcharges"... oh, you want blue cheese with the fries? That's 75 cents extra, oh you want a salad as a side, that's $x extra. The amount isn't much but we must hear it at least 2-3 times each time we're there. Build it into a normal price !

I got the ribs and sweet potato fries with beans. My wife got the kickin chicken sandwich with a baked potato. The food was really good. They give you 4 different sauces to sample with ribs. Service was AWESOME!!! Our server Courtney was prompt and courteous. We were surprised to get such amazing service in a rib joint!

I had the Big Fish Sandwich with fried and coleslaw. The fish was over-cooked to the point of being like rubber. The fries were actually very good. I cannot address the coleslaw as it was missing from the bag. This was a takeout order. I had previously eaten there about 2 years ago. After that meal, my companion had food poisoning which he believed he got from undercooked chicken. I decided to give them another try, but after a second bad experience, I certainly won't be eating there again.

I have been checking out all the BBQ joints in Cookeville and you cant drive around this town without seeing at least one RibCity Sign on the side of the road. At first I was thinking this place was going to be super cheesy but actually Rib City has allot of personality. The service was very good , the waitress was very friendly. I looked at the menu and noticed there is alot of variety which is always good. I ordered a BBQ sampler of sorts , it came with BBQ ribs and bbq chicken. When the food arrived it was very tasty , the chicken was moist and the ribs were fall off the bone good. If you are in the area I would say check it out. I am definitely a fan of Rib City.
