I would rate this as the best Asian buffet in town. I like that they had sushi, would be 5 star if the sushi selection was larger. It is a buffet though

Great buffet with a lot of variety. The majority of the food was very flavorful and prices were very reasonable. The dinner buffet was only $8.99 which I found very affordable. I am from Kansas City, MO and i now have two favorite Chinese buffets - Ma Ma China in KC and Royal Buffet in Cleveland, TN!

New business but so far its been great. Great food at an very cheap price. Excellent selection, a grill if you want hibachi, sushi, and very good service especially for a buffet. A buffet as cheap as many fast food places.

This was the best Chinese buffet that I've come across in the Chattanooga area. We thought it was a great value at $6.95 per person for Saturday lunch. Good sushi, some nice seafood and a dessert selection like I've never seen at any other Asian buffets.

First time eating at this establishment. Plenty of parking close to the restaurant. No waiting, seated immediately on a busy Saturday night. Plenty of choices to choose from the buffet, everything is clean. Food is fresh, hot, nothing was in short supply. Service was great, our server checked with us several times to make sure everything was ok. I thought the price was very reasonable and plan to go back again.

The hibachi grill was excellent, you choose the vegetables and other ingredients and watch it being made, fantastic. Now the bad news I was in the mood for shrimp and they had several choices to choose from and I chose them all, now imagine my feelings to find the shrimp HAD NOT been cleaned and de-veined and not just a couple (even shrimp that is cleaned it's easy to miss a few) but all the shrimp I tried, I even went back to try some more, nope not a one had the tell-tale sign of a split back like they at least attempted to clean them. The same goes for the hibachi shrimp I checked out while waiting for my steak to cook . To me this is totally unacceptable and inexcusable period.

The Royal Buffet has all types of foods. They have Chinese, Japanese and American food. Their prices vary for buffet depending on when you come. I like to go Monday thru Friday between 2pm and 3:30 pm when it is only $5.95. During this time you will find country type food like macoroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, beans and etc. you will also find Chinese foods like rice and the normal chicken meats. The buffet is $6.99 during lunch on Sunday but at night their prices go up to $8.99 for their buffet. The buffet for seniors is only $5.99 all day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays My advice is to get just water as it is free. This way you save some bucks on your buffet because they charge extra for sweet tea or a coke making your meal higher. Furthermore, look for coupons in the mail, newspaper and fliers throughout town to save money at Royal Buffet.

Food was disappointing. There were very few Chinese offerings... And both the beef with broccoli and chicken with broccoli were very greasy. Selection on sushi is OK. Very surprised that there were only three islands with hot food, as the fourth island is being used for desserts. Was also super surprised they charged me $2 for hot tea, when no Chinese restaurant has ever charged me for that. there was no selection of just stirfried veggies (string beans, broccoli/carrots etc.) Good selection of fruit, but doubtful that I will ever go back.

Went here for lunch while in Cleveland Tn. basic Chinese buffet with a decent selection of sushi, under $11 for lunch and an iced tea. Food was always full on the buffet but the sushi you had to pay attention when they brought it out because the people would fill their plates with everything. not bad for lunch - only went once though

I've eaten here quite a bit and for the most part it is good for a chinese buffet. The sushi is good and they have a great selection. The sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. We usually go for dinner but we went for lunch today and the food was mediocre. When you have a craving for a chinese buffet place this would be one of the better ones in cleveland.

Great new Asian style buffet in town. Very clean and many options to choose from. I have been to all of them in this town and several in Chattanooga and this is the best in the area. Just hope they can maintain the service and cleanliness. Crab legs, Steak are available at extra cost.

This place is A OK! We were greeted with a friendly smile. The food was hot and fresh. The Hibachi was fired up and produced me a hot plate of food. What more could I ask for?

This has to be one of the worst Chinese Buffets I've ever tried. yes there was a lot of food but, a lot of food did not taste fully cooked. Food cold and greasy,Very Bland they keep this up they won't be in business very long.Mongolian Bar-B-Q left a lot to be desired. One guy ran the grilll, would put your items on grill and leave, coming back a few minutes later. sushi was frozen in the middle. They need to improve their act..Even the HOT TEA we had almost cold to the taste. Could not wait to leave. Had Apple Cobler , stopped eatingt it was not fully baked.Service was minimum, restaurant was clean.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
