This was a fairly average Mexican joint. The chips were nice and thin, the salsa had good flavor, but they lacked any sort of hot sauce. When I asked for a hotter salsa, I was brought a dark, fermented tasting salsa that wasn't much spicier. The menu had the usual TexMex fare of tacos/burritos/chimichangas/etc... with some expanded seafood choices compared to other restaurants. The food was decent, as were the portion sizes. No complaints about the service either.

We love this place! It's our go to Mexican restaurant. We tried some others in town but somehow always want to come back. I love the food and the service is good. We can get in and out quick.

They closed this restaurant down. It had a sign that said they were remodeling and now it's not there. That is sad because it was a very good place to eat.

Appears the places closed. Arrived here during business hours to find the lot empty and available on their sign.

The positives were quick seating. Nice tables. Chips and salsa were okay. Nothing spectacular. But passable. Sodas were huge and promptly refilled. They have some vegetarian options so that is great. We ordered a bean burrito that comes with some sort of red sauce and asked to not have cheese. I also ordered the veggie fajitas with no cheese. The mother-in-law ordered a steak fajita taco salad. She liked it and said it was "okay..not bad." The guacamole was good. Much better than Tres Hermanos (so was the salsa). So the minor negatives. The tortillas for the veggie fajitas were small, and parts of them were hard as in not very fresh. They were also bland tasting. Not like a good tortilla. The beans seemed bland and also not home made. The bean burritos were average. Still, we managed to find a vegan option by asking them to hold the cheese (I should have asked them to hold the sour cream also)... so that is good. Prices were decent. If you wanted tacos... the Tuesday Taco night special seems like a great deal. Nice looking place.

Both me and my friend Cheri rate this restaurant 5 stars. I ordered number 4 combination dinner which includes two tacos and my friend got taco salad and rice. We never saw the bottom of our drinks which was great and service was fast as they brought our food quickly.

Me and the wife planned to go somewhere else for dinner, but the other places were packed. We end up making it Casa Nacho for the first time as its one of the only non-busy places on a Friday night. The salsa is decent for a mild salsa lover. I ordered the casa nacho fajitas as their name was in the title and my wife got the fajita nachos. A lot of items on the menu but mostly the same items with one ingredient more or less than the previous item. The food was mediocre, but one cant complain because of the price and wait to eat. Friendly and clean!

Nice change of pace from the others in town. Decor is nice. Little noisy with a lot of tables close. Service does seem a little slow but from my experience most Mexican places are that way. Dinner or lunch in Mexico are 2 hour plus events so not a negative to me. Overall one of the better Mexican places for me

Good service. Tasty food. I had a chalupa. The guac was very good. My husbands food was served in one of those lava bowls pretty cool.

To Jonathan A.: Honey, if you thought those tortilla chips were freshly hand made, you need to consider a job wherein you might travel to the SW part of our country. I doubt if the kitchen at Casa Nachos even has a bag of mesa or flour in the kitchen. (That's what real corn or flour tortillas are made of.) And you can take my word, there are no real dried beans there either. Their refried bean are take directly out of a can. I even asked if they had Mexican or Charro or plain boiled beans and our server looked as though I had lost my mind. The only decent thing I had there was the guacamole and even that needed lime. I won't be back nor would I recommend it. However, the service was very good. Quick delivery of salsa and warm chips as well as the meal was delivered promptly, and we never saw the bottom of our cola glasses

This is my favorite Mexican "food" in Cleveland,...not the hippest atmosphere, but if you want an awesome Pollo Loco with good beer prices...this is the place to go. IMHO

HMMM I didnt see it. Service was slow and messed up the order. Portions were small for the price, came with plenty of rice to make up for it. And my shrimp chimichanga was very bland. And out of Bud Light...4:00 on a sat? Thats not good either. To many good Mex places in Cleveland to go here again. Decor was nice tho.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
