I had some seriously high hopes for the newest breakfast addition in town. *sigh* But alas, this just didn't quite hit home for me. The space is new and clean and it's decorated like a good southern granny's dining room. (Are we perhaps pigeonholing the region or are they all decorated this way? I'm just curious.) The interior was actually a bit smaller that what I was expecting. Our waiter did an excellent job and for that I was thankful. The carafe of coffee for your table is a nice plus. About the food: It was alright. It was a walk down the middle of the road. I ordered a basic plate: two eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and potatoes. First and foremost, they did cook my eggs appropriately. Set whites, runny yolks. Good job! However, my potatoes were still frozen in the middle. Yep. Frozen and crunchy middles. (Really, I've mostly given up that this town knows how to cook a potato!) The sausage patties were the type that were thin, waxy, and leaves sweaters on your teeth. The gravy was just a typical white sausage gravy, but it kept stumping me. Is the sausage in the gravy the same as the sausage on the plate? I kept thinking no, and for some reason this troubles me.... The Hubbs ordered the Texas Skillet. There wasn't a whole lot going on as far as the veggies that should have been included and the "steak" was really a "steak-um." (You know, that quick-cook philly meat?) His eggs were cooked to order, too. So compromise, right? Neither one of us were blown away or had the desire to come back ASAP. The prices are fair, but for what you pay (around $9 per plate, coffee is $2.40 per) I was expecting a little more effort and freshness. We both agreed that we may consider giving them a second try. Maybe since they do seem to able to cook an egg, the omelettes will be good. I'll definitely NOT order the potatoes. If I do revisit, I'll be sure to update!

We're not a breakfast people but wanted to try something new and well...this place is new. We've never been to this chain restaurant in any other location. We visited around 9:30 AM on a Sunday and were seated right away. The hostess was pleasant. The decor is not cutting edge and trendy but homey. However, it's not over the top with stuff nailed to the wall. The menu has a pretty diverse selection of breakfast stuff. I had eggs benedict and they were awesome. The side of potatoes were delicious as well. Our server was great, pleasant, and personable without hovering. We'll check this place out again in the future.

If your looking for an alternative to the normal chains for breakfast this is a nice place to start. Very clean and fresh when entering for a late breakfast. I had my normal eggs, pancakes, bacon and toast. Although, mine is simple so many screw this up over and over. This with my specifics for how I wanted my eggs and the bacon very crisp. They hit the home run, first time up. Only reason for 4 stars was the milk was not as cold as I prefer. Not sure if this is normal or sat on a counter too long. Service was good but seemed like gaps when they should have checked our drinks. But I will try again soon and update if needed. Nice spot for a change.

If you want an awesome breakfast, you HAVE to try this place! Their menu is huge and they have a ton of options. Eggs, omlettes, pancakes, waffles and more. Service is awesome - we had Mike as our waiter and he was very friendly. The "Belgian Waffle Eggspress" is the perfect breakfast: a waffle, eggs, and bacon or sausage. Highly recommend!

We ordered the Parisian Benedict and The Veggie Benedict, both were delicious! This restaurant has been here for about a year and I've been meaning to try it sooner. I wish I had tried it sooner! We will definitely be back. They serve breakfast and lunch. Our server, Brian, was very attentive. There's not many good breakfast choices in the Hamilton Place mall area, this is a good addition for the area.

This is the best breakfast restaurant I have visited (I haven't tried their lunch selections yet). The food is very fresh, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I have recommended it to all friends and family who are in the area, and will be visiting some of this chain's other locations. Love, love, love.

We like breakfast places that are very much like this restaurant, and were excited to hear it was opening in East Brainerd. I would agree with other yelpers: not cutting edge decor, but not 100% covered in knick knacks either. Very friendly hostess, who actually remembered how to pronounce my name. Server very helpful, and answered all of our questions. Also, he made a point to get my wife and mine's order in before a party of 8. I got the Huevos Rancheros, and my wife had the Texas Skillet. Everything came out hot and fast. Although, I wish the potatoes had been browned on the skillet, but that's just me. Good service, cozy atmosphere, and hot and fast food. We'll be regulars

Great open seating, with interesting combinations on the menu. We arrived on Easter Sunday, just before the crowd and were seated immediately. Tim, our server, was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Build your own omelette had tasty options, including avocado. I recommend the Parisian Benedict with subtle notes from the Havarti cheese blending deliciously with the croissant. Great option for breakfast, which we found on Yelp!

Overpriced for a semi-"gourmet" breakfast. We have been here 3-4 times and each time we think maybe next time will be better. We both chose the build your own omelette this time. Some menu items included cream cheese as an option, but this wasn't listed as a topping for the omelette. I asked the waitress if I could have cream cheese. This was a yes/no question- but resulted in a lengthy explanation from the manager about the melting properties of cream cheese and how omelettes are made. First three ingredients are included, then you can add on extras from two lists- some items are an extra $1 others are .50cents. We both picked three items and then added extra from the .50 list, but of course we were charged the $1 for the fourth (more expensive choice listed). When the food arrived, my omelette had a lovely spoonful of cream cheese plopped on top of the omelette not inside it as requested. Really simple- I took my knife, flipped the omelette open and spread the cheese on it myself. Why was this so hard to do back in the kitchen? It melted nicely and tasted fine. The grits were so watery I couldn't eat them. Water was actually puddled around the inside of the bowl. When I pulled the spoon out, water filled the spot. The manager asked how the food was- I started to explain the whole cream cheese thing, but ah...never mind. Just not going to keep giving them chances to disappoint. It's an awful lot to pay for less than satisfactory. We would give the service closer to 3-4 star; employees are always polite and fairly attentive.

The pineapple coconut pancake is amazing and HUGE! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a pancake more. If you go you have to try it.

Food was very good and served hot. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. If they rated service separate our waiter would be a 10.

Wish this restaurant was closer to downtown..Eggs Benedict are better than most others, including those from the better known brunch places in the area. Reasonably priced menus with a lot of variety!

My husband and I went to this restaurant for breakfast for the first time about 2 months ago. It was fantastic. The food was delicious, served piping hot and an over flowing plateful. We have since been back several times and will continue eating breakfast here as long as they are open. You have to check it out.

Was in the area and went and had a late breakfast/lunch. Closes at 2p on weekdays and got there about 1:20p. Several diners in there but not too busy. This has been on my list of places to try. Great menu and lots of choices. To drink I ordered the Key West Sunrise Cooler - a mixture of lemonade, orange juice and Sprite with a splash of grenadine, garnished with cherries and lemon. Very yummy and refreshing. Not too sweet. The Sprite gives it a little zing. I may have to make these at home and add vodka, just a thought. ;-) To eat I ordered the Green Chile Chicken Hash. It was decent. Almost like a green chile enchilada with eggs. Nice amount of green chile sauce and it was mild, the eggs were nicely done, over-easy. Love that runny yolk over my food. Mmmmmm mmmmm. Came with a tortilla so you could make a burrito too. I had leftovers and that gives me a 2nd breakfast. Bonus! I also ordered a side pancake, because, well, why not? It's a wheat pancake and fills the whole plate, but it was super thin. I'm more of a fluffy pancake gal. It was good, nothing wrong with it, but didn't wow me. The food was good, just pretty generic. I guess this is a chain and you can tell that they don't do off the cuff kind of food. Good breakfast choice though. Better than some chains in the area. I'd go again if I'm around there but probably wouldn't make a special trip to go. PS - I am going to make that cooler drink with some vodka, or even rum. Mmmmm

Stopped in for a quick bite and it was packed. Food was good and had a great selection. However, the hostess was rude. She was short with people and I did not see her smile one time while I waited on my table. She had plenty of smiles for the bus boys though. The cashier was super friendly and all smiles. There should be a change in positions for sure.

Great breakfast/brunch place. My partner and I went to breakfast with his dad on july 4th weekend and we were delighted to find this place open and bustling. There was a 20ish minute wait to get our table but the wait was a breeze. They offered free coffee while you waited and had a great sitting area for restless kids and family. The menu was a little expensive for a breakfast place, but the food was superb. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict and my partner had the Belgian Waffle Eggspress. The eggs were cooked to perfection and their Benedict selection was impressive and unique. The service was impeccable and all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The overall feel of the place and the decor makes it a great place for a good southern breakfast for a couple or large group.

Had a great Saturday morning brunch. Wait staff was attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. My waiter was very hard working. We waited over 10 minutes for our drink order and wait after placing order was 20 min. Other than the wait times food was good.

The food was very good and the serving size was plentiful. The server we had was excellent, you could tell he enjoys his job. I do think the price was a little expensive for breakfast food but I would go back to eat there when we visit again.

Had a yummy Cobb salad with fresh brewed iced tea. The menu had many options and my decision was a tough one. Everything is prepared fresh. Great find!

Being from out of town and not knowing the area, we turned to Yelp for suggestions in the area for breakfast. To our pleasant surprise, we landed this awesome restaurant!! The place was clean, fresh-feeling and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and our server Brian was great! The food had GENEROUS portions and was completely delicious!! Even the bathroom was impressive :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone!

This was the best breakfast I have ever had in chattanooga. Service was great as the servers seem to help each other and worked as one big team. During my breakfast I had 4 different people interact with me. The Colorado omelette was amazing as were the hash browns. The wheat toast was thick and hearty and perfectly toasted . If you like breakfast you must go here. This place is locally owned and that makes me happy too. When the plate arrived it looked as if it was staged for a photo it was so pretty. .

I had been wanting to try this place ever since I saw it was coming to East Brainerd. My husband and I finally tried it on a Sunday morning around 9:30 AM. We were able to be seated immediately which was nice. Our server was very friendly, but she must have had too many tables or something, because the service itself wasn't that great. First we both ordered coffee. She brought our carafes out but no cream. She made a comment about forgetting it as she sat the coffee down, but then never came back. I waited about 5-10 minutes to get cream, and I ended up getting it because the guy behind me had finally gotten up and gotten his own! Then I ordered the Belgian waffle, which is one of their signature items. A runner brought out our food, and plopped the Belgian waffle down and walked away before I could ask for syrup. Again, another 5 minutes or so before our waitress checked on us and I was able to ask. Why a breakfast restaurant wouldn't have at the least cream on their tables is beyond me. It wasn't just us that had issues-I noted two other guests that went to search for their server in the time we were there. After reading the other reviews I feel like we just must have caught them at a bad time. The food was fine, but nothing to get too excited about. We definitely are planning to go back any time soon.
