I take my boys here once every week or two to make sure they are getting more green in their diets - great, fresh, and always a good choice.

I can't recommend this place. The greens were a bit wilted and the toppings were too few in variety. The soups were very salty and the overall feel was similar to a hospital cafeteria. However, the staff was quite friendly, so there's that!

I never ate at this place during all the negative reviews from the past. However I've been to it a couple of times now, and I was pleased enough with the experience. Service was just peachy. Friendly girl that kept our drinks filled up and the plates from piling up. The decor was clean and neat. Nothing fancy, just booths and tables. The salad bar is well stocked, usually they offer a seasonal salad as well. There are things on this bar I never would of imagined would go on a salad, so it's pretty well stocked I would say. The soup is really good and tastes home-made. The bread goods have always been fresh and hot, along with the other various hot things. About the only complaint I've had, was one time the cheese sauce had dried out and hadn't been changed until i asked them to, then they put fresh cheese out and it was all good. I took my niece here one time and she filled up on just their bread sticks... she ate like a dozen of them... They kind of reminded me of olive garden ones. I recommend it as an occasional lunch spot, especially if you're craving soup and salad.

My family and I think this place is great and eat here often. What a friggin bargain this place is! We usually have a $5.79 coupon which is less expensive than the Burger King veggie burger combo that my wife buys every so often. When we first moved here last fall, the place was in pretty bad shape, but they've since remodeled with new floors, booths, paint I'm guessing, etc. I really don't know how anyone can bad mouth this place.

If you like healthy food and salads, give this place a try. Food is reasonably priced. A buffet, all you can eat. I found the help friendly. Their soups are fabulous and they have pizza too! My only regret is that it is not closer to Crossville or Cookeville. Hope someone considers opening one off of I-40!

Friends don't let friends eat here. I used to love all-you-can-eat soup and salad places, but haven't been in one for awhile. What I remember is lots of fresh vegetables, pasta salads, homemade tasting soups, and fresh baked breads. None of those things were found here. Lettuce looked tired. Most of the salad additions were dried out or just dull and lifeless. Taco bar had a meat product labeled as ground beef but looked a step down from the "meat" in a Taco Bell taco, which is pretty scary. The booths all had torn seats, the carpet was worn and dirty; the hot section of the salad bar was poorly stocked and was also dirty. We wasted our money here, but hopefully will help you to save yours. Don't embarrass yourself by being seen coming out of this place. Just say no.

Started eating our food and my son noticed a dead cockroach on the table. The server got the manager and she removed the cockroach with a towel and explained that they just sprayed the restaurant last night, thus the dead cockroach. DISGUSTING no matter how you explain it. I got up and left. They didn't even comp me for my meals....NOT GOING BACK.

This restaurant space is tired and dirty. There are flys, dirty seats/tables, and the bathrooms are disgusting. Definitely in need of an overhaul, remodel. Space hasn't been updated since the mid 90s. Other than that, the overall salad bar is reasonably fresh, and the price is right.

*** BEWARE YOU WILL GET SICK *** I like the thought of a salad place that is cheap and healthy. The price here is not bad but the food is unsafe. My girlfriend and I went there over the weekend and I wish we would of passed on it. The salad bar was filthy. The items on the bar looked like they had been out for a long time. The salad dressing containers had dry and crusted on dressing around the pour spouts. They looked like they had several layers of dry crusted on dressing. The ice cream table had 1 spoon for all 6 toppings. The ice cream had freezer burn coming out of the machine. Both my girlfriend and I had food poisoning after eating there. Our waiter and the manager were both sitting at a dirty table talking. Neither of them looked like they knew how to clean. The funny part was, I watched the manager walk over to the salad bar and look at it. Then go sit back down. The place was not even a quarter of the way filled up. The only plus to the whole place is the black guy who works the hot food bar. This guy was constantly filling up stuff, cleaning, and more or less doing what you would expect a good working employee to do. If I was the owner I would fire the manager and make him the new manager. *** BEWARE YOU WILL GET SICK ***

Worst Place I Ever Have Eaten I was on a work trip a few years ago and stopped in here while walking around looking for someplace to eat. I dropped in here as the manager or worker was outside and invited me in.. I got both soup and salad and both were horrible. Everything was either luke warm or hot and horrible. I dont really have much else to say other than i hope its still not as bad as I dont know how they would stay in business if there were.. All i know is i would never eat at this location again even if it was the only place that had food, as i would rather starve to death.

Ok, I like salad! This place will fill that Salad need and more. Like the variety and the cost is a great value. Look it is not a gormet meal but if you want good Salads & soups with other sides than this a good place to eat for a good price.

Meh is the exact word I would use to describe this buffet. After having quite an indulging weekend with food...the hubby and I decided we needed something fairly healthy...so we decided to try Super Salad. When a place only does soups and salads...you would think the main focus would be good and fresh ingredients....not so much here. The salad bar : for greens you have 3 options... Caesar, a mix of iceburg and romaine, and another pre-dressed salad (apple walnut w/ romaine). The caesar was dissapointing...and the iceburg and romaine mix was not as fresh as one would expect...you have to kind of pick through the lettuce to get non brown or non wilted pieces. The topping choices were pretty average...they were out of a few things...just having empty containers in there (like black olives) They also had some pre-made salads on the salad bar... a cold tuna noodle pasta, an italian pasta with pepperoni and peppers, a loaded baked potato salad, and a crab and shrimp shell salad...the italian pasta was...so-so...the rest were absolutely horrible! No flavor...the "loaded potato salad" was just big chunks of potatoes in...im going to assume...sour cream...nothing else. The crab and shrimp shell salad...same sour cream-ish flavor (not sure really what base it was as it did not have a flavor) fake crab...and no shrimp in sight...and tiny shell pasta...total fail. The tuna noodle was semi-edible ...just needed seasoning. On to the soups : Every Single Soup FROM A CAN!... actually had "chicken noodle star soup"... I couldn't force more than a couple of spoonfulls of any soup...total fail there as well. Also, no crackers available...I find that very strange for a soup and salad bar. The rest of the "buffet" : There was a bread station...that had cornbread, several berry breads, gingerbread, no rolls... the sweet breads were muffin mix in loaf form...nothing stood out. They also, on this night had 2 pizzas, a very crusted over veggie pizza...sitting for quite a while...and a cheese pizza...that, although fresh out of the oven...was nothing really worth indulging in. Another small station had taco shells, flour tortillas, nacho chips...and taco salad/taco makings. The shredded lettuce was sitting in water...floating...pretty strange... but the nachos I made were sadly the highlight of the meal...and that is not saying much. Although nothing stood out as amazing...the salad bar..with a few tweaks in the freshness arena...isn't bad for your money...just go with low expectations. I don't think we will be returning

Cheap, somewhat healthy, plentiful. A nice place to go when you are trying to watch your waist line but still want some options, but don't go if your trying to impress anyone!
