The worst Mexican food I have ever eaten! I ordered a side of guacamole that was not house made. I ordered two enchiladas as my entree and after three bites, I discovered a twig(as in part of a tree). I quit eating. It was just plain gross. There is a Taco Bell around the corner. That would be the safe choice. Real talk.

This place is great. I had a clue when there was no parking. We walked in and there were about 20 people to be seated ahead of my party. We were told a 15 minute wait and it was less. Our server was efficient and attentive. The food was great.

We all had wonderful meals and the service was extremely quick. Nice size portions. Desserts were so-so but we were so full from the meal it didn't really matter. Would go back if back in the area again. Better than most at home.

Really nice Mexican restaurant with a friendly staff and great food! I ordered the "Playa Quesadilla" and it was really good! The chicken was well seasoned and it was complimented by sautéed spinach, onions and mushrooms - delicious! I'm very big on rice and refried beans and although these were not the best I've had, they were tasty. This is the second Mexican restaurant I've tried in the area and so far it's the winner.

I don't know where else these people leaving good reviews have eaten but this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Watered down drinks, neon green guacamole and the nacho supreme tastes like cat food. This place sucks. I ate one bite of the nachos and asked for my check. It's pretty bad when a Mexican restaurant can't make their own guacamole. Eat here instead of going for a high colonic, the results are the same and it costs less!

I was a little leery after reading the other reviews but gave it a try anyway. I'm glad I did - this is a typical Tex-Mex restaurant with solid food and service. My server was very attentive, the portions were huge, fajitas were delicious and the salsa was spicy, but tasted authentic. I also tried the guacamole and it definitely seemed homemade. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again. Oh - be sure to check out their daily specials.

Good value food for your money, the owners are very nice and the service has been great any time that I have been. It's a great place to call in an order for lunch.

Service was slow at first. Quiet place. The 3 amigo dip was very good. Had the 3 amigo salad. I'll have that again. Nice overall experience.

I agree with the other reviewers. What a hole in the wall gem! It is just a short walk away from the Best Western where I was staying. Thank goodness for Yelp, or I would never have looked in that shopping center. Fresh, tasty food at great prices and comfortable surroundings. Don't let the strip mall dissuade you. They have a number of vegetarian selections, but I chose to order sides of veggies, mushrooms, jalapeño peppers, guacamole, tortillas and beans and make my own tacos. It was a ton of food and I walked away only $12 poorer. The side order of vegetables was beautifully grilled and quite substantial- it paired well with the mushrooms. Food came out quickly, hot and aromatic.

This is a little Mom & Pop place, pretty small. But don't let that dissuade you. The staff are friendly, I've chatted with the owner several times. Food is a good value, I love lunch #6 and the taco salad too. Had that for lunch today-a great value! About $6.75 for a really yummy taco salad. They also have a rewards program-so I got a free flan. Which was also good. Don't listen to the haters reviews!

Being a vegetarian from Los Angeles, I have a high standard for Mexican food, and am accustomed to finding good veggie options. Los 3 Amigos did not disappoint. Their special cheese spinach dip was nice, and the guacamole was good (if small, as avos are pretty expensive way out here in Tennessee). Our waitress was friendly and helpful (and Mexican!) And helped us make good choices. I ended up making my own soft tacos with a bunch of side orders. We were happy with the salsa and pico de gallo, dad liked his enchilada. I didn't like the bar decor but whatever, the people are really nice and the food is good!

Great food, prices & service. That's it. We got the Chim light & the taco salad with Amber Bock drafts.

Neat little hole in the wall. This place was near my hotel and easy to get to. Simple Tex Mex menu. Seemed very busy given the non specialty menu, but hey - to each his own. Service was very fast and very friendly - maybe that's why the crowd :) If you want text book Tex Mex with friendly service and great prices - look no further!

Read the reviews on here about this place and we gave it a try, boy we're glad we did. The staff was courteous and prompt. We sat down and in less than a minute we had our drink order and nachos. The food was delicious, I had the 3 Amigos special while the wife had the shredded chicken nachos. Plenty of food with plenty of flavor.

I typically never write bad reviews. This place use to be a fabulous restaurant. The owners have quit spending time here and aren't hiring English speaking waiters. They also don't handle large parties well.

The place is very roomy and clean. I was here on a Saturday night and it was less than half full. Service was very fast and attentive. Complimentary chips and salsa. I was disappointed that the salsa obviously came from a large can and was not homemade. I order one of the combination platters. A burrito, a taco and rice and beans. You only get beef. There is no other choice with combo platter. The portion was a good size. The food is what I would call Gringo spicy. Not very spicy. If you want hot sauce you have to ask for it. Otherwise the food was good. I only five them four stars because of the salsa, lack of spice. It also lacks those Mexican touches a lot of Mexican restaurants have. No decorations on the walls, football not soccer on TV, no crazy Mexican sodas.

A genuinely great (hole in the wall style) Mexican restaurant with very large portions of good food, good beer selection with excellent value, and a very friendly staff. (This coming from someone who has worked as a server). Good choices of food are the Low Carb Burrito, the Quesadillas, or Fajitas. Great tacos too.

Fish tacos, steak tacos, chicken tacos (all soft shell) - very good. Fast, friendly service. Margaritas - perfect! Prices right- didn't mind kids running around. Guacamole was a little bland; but chips and salsa were good.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
