Very close to house. Eat there more that I should. Have not tried anything on menu I did not like. Food is very good for quick take out type place. Sometimes food is a bit too oily. Made a mess on my car seat soaking through bag a couple of times. Good value for money. Be aware they do not take credit cards!

My Go To place for Chinese take out! Great family owned restaurant! Fresh, flavorful foods that are always ready when I call ahead. Each meal is enough for TWO and less than $10! Many veggie meals available - just ask. Indoor eating is an option and would be very quiet and personable. We usually take out and I believe most everyone else in the area does, too. I've only seen 3-4 people eating in. GREAT FOOD~! Will fix your Chinese craving!

They don't take credit cards anymore and the menu on line is old. We were used to getting take out from other places. Ordered the meal for 3. Its a ton of food. You need a box to carry it. Hot and sour soup was good. General Tso chicken good. Broccoli beef was good. Spicy chicken was okay. Needed more heat to be spicy. Egg rolls were fresh. Crab Rangoon were okay. Will go back but will remember that we ate on the leftovers for 3 days. It is a very clean place. Friendly staff. Some locals eating their "usual" said they come in every week.

As crazy as it sounds, some of the best Chinese take-out in Chattanooga comes from this unassuming little place in East Brainerd. The Hubbs is a noodle man and loves their lo mein. They use actual lo mein noodles here! I know. Shocking, right? But you'd be surprised what tries to get passed at other places. Me? I'm a chicken and mix veg gal and there's has always been spot on. The brown sauce is really tasty; a little sweet and a little savory. If you're a fan of hot and sour soup, Hong Kong is some of the best you'll find around. It's dark, thick, and loaded with been curd and mushrooms. The best part? That sour funk smell when you open your container. I love it! Soooo yummy. I should also mention they hand-roll their egg rolls. No frozen, premade disappointment here! Pretty much everything I've had has been really tasty. It's a small space that does have tables and you can eat in. However, I'd suggest getting it to go. Like everyone else said, they are cash only, but so you know there's an ATM at the Publix up the walk.

We thought it was just ok-nothing to write home about. The hot and sour soup was the highlight of the meal. The sesame bean curd was a little on the disappointing side. The mu shu average. I don't like that they don't take credit cards so I see no reason to go back. The place was pretty busy at an odd time Sunday evening so maybe we just ordered wrong.

I am currently on the hunt for a good chinese place. Coming from a bigger city, where I had several great options, it's been difficult finding a place that has good reviews and makes me want to visit AND actually has good food. A lot of the places around either have neutral or negative reviews which leads me to look the other way or the food isn't up to what I know is out there. I did try this place based on reviews and service here was ok, as was the food. The sauce used on the hunan variety is a little different and thicker than what I'm used to, but it was ok. The soup was good and portions of both were very large. They do not take credit cards and that's a little inconvenient for people like me who rarely have cash on hand (it's a money saving mechanism, honest! if i have it, i spend it waaaay too fast). Overall, the value for what you get is good - you definitely can make 2 meals out of one. I'm still on the lookout for a good chinese place like the ones back home, but so far this place is a good compromise and I will revisit.

Try their Singapore chow mei fun, bit spicy curry flavored noodle, chicken & broccoli, and House Special Soup. This is our go to place, busy weekday night! You can add more shrimps with extra money.

It looked like it could use a good cleaning inside, but it did smell good so that was a positive. I ordered my food-started to pay and--- they don't take credit cards. I can't remember the last time I went to a restaurant that didn't take credit cards.

We ate here back in June of 2011 with family who wanted us to try it and the food was very good. I had a veggie low mein that was absolutely delish and the husband loved his food as well. Our 2 family members recommended their egg drop soup to my husband and he said it was absolutely delish and definitely as good as my cousin said it was. My cousin raved about it before we had gotten there so he ordered it. Overall, this is a really good Chinese restaurant over in East Brainerd.

Very close to my house which makes it the perfect place to satisfy my Chinese food cravings! Love the egg-rolls and the hot and sour soup, but have never had a bad meal there period! Would definitely recommend!

Kind of a bummer that they don't take credit cards, but the food is satisfactory. They were also more than happy to sub meat items for tofu, which I was very pleased with. The ambiance inside is quite undesirable, though, so I recommend taking your food to go.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
