Surprisingly excellent food and great value. I have only gone here for lunch and always get a meat and 2 and pay about $7.00 (that includes your drink, rolls and a dessert). Vegetables- always fresh and cooked well- LOVE the fried okra (and I am picky about my okra) Not mom's but it is a heckuva lot better than the pre-breaded frozen stuff you get just about everywhere else. Fried Chicken- well seasoned- tasty, juicy- HUGE chicken breast Pork Chop- (grilled) WOW! It was like eating a steak..perfectly seasoned and grilled...very juicy and tender Country Steak (not country fried)- pretty good...gravy (brown) is very thick and delicious. Does have a full bar and a few big screen TV's to watch the game. Only complaint...the smoking "section" is right next to the nonsmoking "section". I can't see going here for dinner or on the weekend if the bar if full of smokers...would totally be disgusting..not worth it if you are trying to breath and can't taste the food. Other than that...I really like this place...service is great..after 2 visits the waitress pretty much knew my and had my drink at the table before I was. It is weird to walk into the first time. Heavily tinted windows and dim room makes you think it is closed until you are actually seated. But really worth trying out!

Great food, must try the Jack Dainels Steak.... Really nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. Last friday night the place was packed all night long with lots of great singers. DJ/Karaoke host does a great job. Gotta hear him sing. Awesome..,

When we first entered this restaurant, we thought about turning around and leaving. The place was dark, smoking section and bar in the front, non-smoking section in the back. Yet, we took a chance and went to the back. After a bad experience with a steak the night before at another restaurant, I had a taste for a good steak. My wife ordered the NY Strip and I ordered the T-Bone. The waitress suggested I might want the strip steak or a rib-eye instead. As it turns out this place cuts their steaks and the rib-eyes and NY strips were freshly cut. I switched my order to the NY strip. We were not disappointed. The steaks were great and cooked to order: medium well and well done. Oh yeah...did I mention that these were 16-ounces and thick? It is hard to cook a steak without burning it or drying it out. We got the medium- and well-done steaks in great condition. They were moist and tender. The Jack Daniels sauce on it was also good. It is not like some restaurants that do not know how to used Jack Daniels. The prices for a 16 oz. steak were very reasonable. Back to the darkness and smoke. Smoke was not a problem in the non-smoking section. I wish it were brighter in the restaurant. The wait staff was friendly. We had a view of the kitchen and it was old, but clean. We were here on a Friday evening. A lot of locals were eating here. The restaurant staff knew many of the locals. Repeat business is a good thing. I would eat here again.

In a word, surprising! We stopped here on the way home to Atlanta based on the reviews on Yelp. We were looking for a fast food alternative. Well my travel companion had a steak and I had the coconut shrimp. With each came an excellent fresh salad. Our main courses did not disappoint. The shrimp at first glance looked very heavy but it was light and tasted delicious - fresh shrimp. Steak was cooked to perfection. And to top it all off we were entertained by some very talented karaoke singers. The place does not look like much from the outside but its well worth the stop.

Good food. The blackened shrimp was good. Salad was fresh. Veggies were cooked in same spices as the shrimp so it was a bit much for me. May have been better if just lightly steamed with butter to be crunchy

Best wings and burger around chat. The house sauce is a must! Oh and the fried pickles have a little kick, in the best way possible. Who ever the cook is, keep him! Also the live music was awesome, mostly classic rock with some modern songs to spice it up.

Ribs were Danish not pork. They were extremely tough. The beer selection was lame. No draft beer either. The prices were outrageous for the lack of.quality. It took forever to get a beer. The waitress actually came to our table to tell us that she put my order in...for a bottle of beer. I mean come on. Also, I've never been to a place that doesn't have a side that comes with your entrée. That was extra.

Tried to eat there tonight. On vacation and love to eat local. Unfortunately the place smelled of cigarette smoke so much, that we left. Too bad as the food reviews looked interesting.

Great place! Full liquor bar, wonderful steak dinner, great atmosphere & servers. Will be a stop for me every time I go near Chattanooga.

While on vacation, my wife and I decided to give this place a try based upon the previous yelp review(Ray T.). It was not a typical place we would normally go to, but since the previous yelp gave it a great review, I figured we would give it a shot shine we were out of town. When we first entered the restaurant, there was about 15 tables and a guy singing. It was St. Patrick's Day weekend and they had some decor out on the tables and on the staff. There place was filled at the bar and the tables except for one in the non-smoking. There is no such thing as a divide between smoking and non-smoking. There was a good amount of smoking going on, but we pressed on. We were seated and shown the specials. I went with the 16oz Ribeye with Jack Daniels and my wife ordered 16oz New York Strip. Both got baked potatoes loaded. We both got a hand cut, hand tossed salad that was very good. It didn't look like much when it was brought to us, but it was very good. The steaks were hand cut...just like Ray T. said in the previous review. They were awesome! Both my wife and I loved out steaks. I'm not a big steak eater. I like a good hamberger any day of the week, but these steaks were very good. We both like our steaks well done and that were just that and still juicy. Yes, it was dark inside and the smoke was a bit much for us, but my wife and I were very, very happy with the food. The choice of songs were not to my taste, but my wife loved them. If my wife is happy, I'm happy. The guy singing did a pretty good job too. I'm very glad we stopped by and tried out this place while we were on vacation. I would suggest for anyone who likes steak and likes to try someone besides the chain restaurants, then try this place. Do not bring the kids though. This place is not for anyone under 21 as the sign says on the door. Great food. Very friendly staff. Resonable price. Good music. Wife happy.

Avoid eating here. We were visiting Chattanooga for a wedding and spent one night. We ate here and regret the decision. They claim to serve hand cut steaks and their menu advertises that steaks are their specialty. My steak was terrible. They sell 6oz filet for $18.99. It was full of gristle, fat, and the one forkful I had took 5 minutes to chew. My steak was very undercooked, being dark red and cool to the touch through most of its size. I had ordered it medium. I sent it back for a few more minutes on the grill and it came right back out covered in some red sauce and still raw. The waitress seemed unconcerned. They took $8.00 off my meal, so I only paid $10.99 for a terrible steak. However, if you want to smoke cigarettes, drink beer and watch football, this is the place for you. Hence the two stars.

Closed a half hour early and sent me away hungry after driving for 13 hrs! Horrible customer service

Love a good steak but when you can't enjoy it over the cigarette smoke it doesn't really matter how good something is.

The BEST NY Strip I have EVER had! I'm not a big steak eater so I always use A1 to give it flavor, no need for steak sauce here, the Jack Daniels glaze was to die for... the place was clean, it does allow smoking which is rare these days, I took the pic in the profile, our waitress Stephanie was very sweet and took great care of us, this lady is a top notch server! We drive a Semi based here in town and WILL be back to visit! A MUST VISIT FOR ANYONE THAT LOVES A GREAT STEAK! (Oh and they cut their own steaks here)

As some others have said, the food is really surprisingly good. However due to the lack of non smoking vs. smoking sections it is very smoky in there. The place is hard to find at night, we drive by 3 times before we found it. Overall the decor is some kind of cross between a bar/ pub and a fancy steak restaurant. We enjoyed our food, but not the ambience!

This restaurant was below average overall. First of all it's way too friggen dark inside and we drove right by the place the first time. Second the service is terrible and took forever. Third no draft beer only bottled. The food was pretty good except my steak was way undercooked and I had to send it back. And I'm not picky at all, the thing was practically still mooing. I don't recommend this place

This place isn't fancy or flashy but they can cook a great steak! Friendly service. I would give five stars but I did smell like cigarettes when we left as it is a bar and grill.

"Very smokey, ordered the lemon dill fish grilled, by blackened... The chef seasoned it so strongly you couldn't taste anything but the strong spices. Service was slow, but they seem to have only one server who was busy attending everyone as best she could. Peppers wrapped in bacon with cheese very good.
