This used to be our place but quality was slipping tonight. We had water with no lemons but the server brought out a small plate of about 5 or 6 lemon wedges. Not bad just curious. The food took a while to come out. The broccoli wasn't steamed, chicken was dry, and our avocado was grey instead of green. Everything was remedied as much as it could have been but it was just a let down.

Bang bang shrimp tacos were great! Food and service were top-notch. The price is a bit high for many items, but not as high as a lot of places in our area. It was worth it and I will return there.

My husband and I have been to the Chattanooga area Bonefish Grille twice, and both times we have been pleased by the quality and service for the money. The fresh seafood specials have been well-executed, and the wait staff had been knowledgeable about the menus and its features whenever asked. I have had Tuna steak and Mahi, and my husband has tried the lobster. We were both satisfied with the quantity and quality of food. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was excellent, and the Wednesday night bang-bang special made the price just right! The variety of sides and sauces also made the meal terrific.

We made reservations for Bonefish Grill on a Tuesday evening, without any knowledge of their "Hooked on Tuesday" specials! What luck. These kind of appetizer to dessert specials are our favorites! When we walked in, we took a moment to admire their new look and then we were seated immediately. Apparently the Tuesday special is popular because shortly, all tables were filled. My only complaint about the ambience was that while the soft, dim light was undoubtedly flattering to me, it made taking photos tricky. We started off with drinks and I immediately chose the Fresh Watermelon Icicle Aphrodisiacâ„¢ Martini. It was everything I hoped it would be. Sipping it, I settled in to look at the menu. Everything sounded good, and I was torn between the Spicy Tuna Bowl and the Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout. I settled on the trout and the hubs settled on the Ahi Tuna Steak. For salads, he chose the house salad and I chose the Caesar. We also couldn't resist to add the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer for just $6! Sipping my watermelon martini and slipping bang bang shrimp into my mouth, I was in my happy place. So good. The appetizer serving size was very generous! The shrimp was tender inside, crispy on the outside and tossed in their spicy sauce. After that I was ready for my second martini, the fresh pineapple martini. While I liked the watermelon martini, the fresh pineapple was amazing. This is the one I will have the next time we come. Our salads were perfect. My Caesar salad was balanced with just the right amount of cheese and croutons. The house salad was several steps above most restaurants house salads. Bread was served with the salads and it was a lovely rustic loaf with an oil and herbs dipping sauce. Excellent. Both entrees were excellent. My husband's tuna was cooked perfectly, as were the snow peas and the rice. He loved the Asian dipping sauce. My Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow trout was also perfect and a very generous size. The gratin potatoes were rich and creamy and the snow peas tender yet still crisp. By this time I was already starting to get full, so to save a teeny bit of room for dessert, I took half of my dinner home for lunch the next day. The desserts were the perfect ending to a lovely meal. My husband's seasonal berry shortcake was light and delicious. My macadamia nut brownie was also very, very generous! I ate the ice cream and couple bites of one of the brownies (yes there were two!) and took the rest home for the next day. When we shared them the next day we couldn't believe how rich, chocolatey and delicious they were - they easily fed two people! I also have to mention how good the service was. Our waitress, Jennifer, was amazing. She answered all of our questions, recommended the potatoes (great call!) and kept our water glasses filled and table clean throughout the whole meal. A very friendly man (manager?) brought our drinks and also checked back with us. We received a complimentary gift card to try Bonefish Grill, but all opinions are my own. We will definitely be back, that Spicy Tuna Bowl is calling to me!

The bang bang shrimp was good. We waited 2hours to be seated. The hostess kept saying your next, then we notices she was saying that to everyone. If your booked say your booked. Don't lie. We only stayed cause we drove pretty far to get here. My hubby ordered a salad all he got was bed of lettuce and 3 pieces of shrimp and 1 piece of tomato. So disappointed.

The food was very good, with an excellent selection of fish as you might expect. My tuna was a bit overdone, but then my version of "seared" means wave it over the flame and send it out. It was probably technically correct. The sauces were AMAZING. The best part of the evening was our server. I wish I could remember her name, but she had dark hair and a very nice smile. She recommend a local whisky that was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Pricing was good, but a touch pricey, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back.

This place is always popin in the evenings. It's one of my go to places in the Hamilton area when I want to go somewhere nice. Fish is always good. Most recently my sister took me for my bday and I got the fish tacos and she got the fish n chips. Delish! The batter on the fish for fish n chips was the best I've had! Light and crisp! They have this cocktail something... tropic heat. I can't remember the name. But it was tasty! Service is usually pretty good as well.

I have been here one other time and enjoyed it very much but this was probably my last time for a long while. Ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos...this was brought out immediately like fast food-2 small tacos on a plate...that's it! No bread, no garnish, nothing...taste good but felt like it was an appetizer! I'm not a pig and no huge appetite but that was disappointing!!

I love bonefish! I visited after a long absence and the bang bang shrimp was just as good as I remembered! Had the tilapia with the pan asian sauce and though the piece of fish was pretty big, the sides were kind of blah. The "fresh vegetable medley" looked kind of pathetic but by the time I had some appetizer and bread with pesto, I was full so I didn't really care. Overall, we had great service and will be back!

Yes, I hate chains. Yes, I understand that Bonefish is a chain. But when I'm traveling for work, which is all the time, I sometimes crave the familiar and don't feel like doing the research or taking chances with random places like I would at home. That being said - Bonefish is my go-to comfort spot on the road. They've had this special orange roughy topped with lump crab served or spinach with a lemon garlic sauce and it's awesome. Every time they have it I order it. Seabass is also pretty good. Unlike most people I don't love the bang bang shrimp, but I don't generally eat fried food.

I been here several times over the years. Today I came here for the bang bang shrimp tacos. They had them on special for just a limited time and today was the last day. First of all, I forgot my coupon that I printed off my computer this morning. I didn't think I needed also because when I called the first time, I was put on hold for several minutes and she never came back. I called a second time about an hour later and person said they were on special for $7 which led me to believe I didn't need the coupon. Anyway, when I got here, of course they asked for it. A manager came out and said to give it to me anyway. Menu items ordered; bang bang shrimp tacos, broccoli and sweet tea. They tacos were great tasting and looked as good as the picture in the email as they sent me. The broccoli was a little too hot but I waited a couple minutes for them to cool down. The service here has always been great. One time I came here and saw Peyton Manning dining here with his wife about 5 or 6 years ago. As I was going to the bathroom I saw someone who looked familiar. When o came out of the bathroom I went up to the table and asked if he was Peyton. He said "what". I asked again he nodded his head "yes". I asked are you Peyton Manning. He again nodded his head "yes motion". I put out my hand and he shook my hand. Which is what I wanted if you had a few drinks.

It was my wife's Birthday celebration, the family went here and even being our 2nd visit, it was well worth the visit. Our Reservation was for 5:30 on Saturday night and there was maybe a 20 second wait. I ordered the Corn Chowder/Lobster Crab soup and next time I am going to order it by itself and eat maybe four bowls. Nice and creamy lightly seasoned with a generous portion of seafood and potatoes. We then had the tilapia lobster sauce, it was so awesome, I would have had a 2nd round but then I am trying to control my eating! having a 1 year old the wait staff was very accommodating and the waiter made the proper recommendations and it was just an enjoyable evening! We have eaten at the one in Orland Park, IL but this was just better at what they did!

Went here with a work group and had been here several times before. As normal, good food, good service. Our steaks were done more than we ordered. The bang bang shrimp, bacon scallops, and ahi tuna were all great. The desserts were not as large as some American size but still pretty big. Overall, recommend but be willing to send red meat back if overcooked.

I've heard great things about this chain for years. I suppose it was fine. I'm not a fan of chains but certainly do like many, just not this one. The service felt canned and scripted and that is just creepy to me. That was the biggest turnoff. I'd give it another shot, though not my fav.

The service was excellent, from the greeter, to the bartender at the bar. Our server was attentive and polite, very professional. The food was excellent and it didnt take very long to prepare. Will definitely eat here again.

We really enjoyed our time here. The Bang Bang shrimp where great!! My scampi and steak where A-OK as was the rest of the food. The service was superb. The best part of the evening where seeing our friends.

Went here with a good friend last night. I had the lobster grilled cheese with tomato bisque, while my friend had Lilly chicken with spinach. The atmosphere was nice but we definitely paid for it because the food was average if that. The only flawless thing about the experience was the flawless service, which we tipped well. Anyway, about three hours later my friend and I were overtaken with some terrible food poisoning, I mean terrible. Didn't pay 50 dollars for such a terrible 24 hours. Thanks.

Wow I think this was the best experience we have ever had anywhere...One of the best servers, Teresa she was so helpful and made sure everything was perfect .....The food was wonderful...The new vegetable medley is great...they also have a new couscous side and it was very good..My salmon was wonderful and the pan Asian sauce is out of this world...We have a new favorite restaurant.

Me and my wife ate there today. She got the filet migon which was so plain, the cook didn't even salt and pepper it before it was cooked. I took advantage of the lobster tails, they was almost cold. I was so disappointed in the portion size of the sides, looked like 2-3 oz, maybe a scoop from a small sever spoon. The best part was the very nice waitress that was so sweet that we didn't have the heart to tell her that the food was horrible. I just won't be back.

Great place for a date night or special occasion. Dark and intimate inside, with cozy seating. Pricey but food is worth it. Try the firecracker shrimp...spicy but not too much. Parking lot always crowded yet large enough to find a space easily. Conveniently located in the Hamilton Place Mall area.

Had brunch here recently and the server talked us into "endless bubbles." Endless bubbles is a joke. I was driving and got a visit from the manager after having three tiny mimosas. He said they don't typically serve anyone more than that even if they have a designated driver. That's fine but don't sell endless bubble if in fact that's not the case.

First time visit to Bonefish. Arrived at 12.30ish for lunch. Seated straightaway - no wait. Waitress was nice and bubbly...too bad her attention to us was not as good...forgot to bring our appetizer and bread...food was good/average...about 3/4 of the way through lunch...our waitress starting asking if she could box our lunches up to go???? She did this twice. I would dine here again, but only if someone else's treat.

Enjoyed this spot while on a trip. Tables were overflowing with people, inside and outside so I had to check it out. After being seated, I was served by waitress, Kate who indicated super busy because of Wednesday night specials. Ambiance Came for dinner and ambiance was dim and lit by candlelight . All decor was devoted to a fish theme to match the name, simple. Paper on tables made it in between cleanings streamlines the process. Food Warm bread & pesto...A little on the salty side but still good Bang Bang Shrimp... This $5 special had a nice crisp on the shrimp, with mayo dressing and a bit of heat. Great texture to it and hits the "mmmm good" spot. Good dish, would order again. Atlantic Swordfish with Pumpkin Ravioli.... Take 1... Ravioli was awesome. Perfect blend of pumpkin and spices in a nicely packed ravioli. Fish was extremely dry and overcooked, Kate graciously took back to take another stab at it. Take 2.... I believe in second chances. Fresh new fish fillet and more ravioli (yummy!!). Perfectly cooked this time. Service Kate was awesome, she went above & beyond. There was just one time she missed the mark but considering I had 5-6 refills, I can't complain. Regarding entree order being returned, I received immediate attention. Fronthouse manager, AJ came out to check out table within 5 minutes of order return. So far that's an "A" for service excellence. Parking Located in large shopping plaza. So more than adequate parking. OVERALL Food and service were above par. With a vibrant bar scene and bustling restaurant, I can understand why its so popular. This is a great spot for a visit, reasonably priced food, great crowd and delicious specials.

Sunday morning visit for Sunday brunch. The French toast with bacon accompanied strawberries and creme de la cream was very delicious with warm maple syrup. The service was good. There was no wait even though we did not have a reservation. My companion had a spinach salad with fish taco. We enjoyed the meal, appreciated the service. We will definitely eat there again.

The cup of corn chowder is so awesome. The tillapia with asian pan sauce was okay along with the au gratin potatoes. The service was wonderful, quick, very friendly (erica). I do plan on coming back one day. And I spent less than $20.

Came here during a business trip recently. Our food took a little long to come out, but not to the point of being a real issue. Surprisingly the manager comped both our entrees. I didn't think our wait really merited that level of accomodation but I wasn't complaining. The food was good as well.

I'm a snoot when it comes to chains. I prefer dingy family restaurants on sketchy side streets over nationally known eateries in strip malls, but Bonefish has lowered my sky-high nose. First of all, our server Kevin was amazing. He eloquently described everything on the menu and even warned my mother that the fish tacos contain cilantro when she ordered them. My mother loathes cilantro and therefore asked for the cilantro-dotted mango salsa on the side. Kevin is, like, a mind reader. My family of four split two Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers. The fried, spicy blobs sat in sundae cups atop lettuce shreds and expanded my growling tummy before my entree arrived. I melted into the wolf fish special. Crab, shrimp and cheese were stuffed into the firm yet flaky fish. A side of asparagus and a chickpea/andouille sausage/spinach mixture added symmetry to the plate. We split a huge boat of creme brulee, topped with blueberries. The only thing that weirded me out was the entrance's revolving door. Dark, takeoff-sounding and spaceship-like, it nearly induced a panic attack. Yet, Bonefish is like entering another restaurant chain world, so I get what they're going for.

My mom and I checked this place out on a Saturday night. The place was packed. They served warm fresh bread and I think we both could have been happy eating that! We did share a seafood special for 2 - which has a range of 5 different fishes. It was a perfect size sample and portion for us but not for a man who has a appetite. I'm not big on going to chain restaurants but if you are looking for a nicer place than other chain restaurants, this is a good option.

The food is always good here, but they have finally lost me because of the slow service. We had reservations for Sunday lunch and were still forced to sit at one of the very uncomfortable bar tables. After our order was placed it took exactly fifty seven minutes before the food arrived. The only explanation was "We are a little busy today." That might explain a twenty minute delay, but not almost an hour.

Below average, food was not that great. I was the only one in the restaurant.

We ate here on Saturday evening while having an outing while celebrating a 50th Anniversary with family members. We had a party of seven and waited about 30 minutes even though the place was rocking inside and out. We sat outside and had a couple of drinks and were soon called to our table. We had a 4 year old darling of a little girl in tow and she acted a well mannered perfect lady throughout the evening and was well served by our server.. Our server was Todd Rosen and he was well versed on the menu items as well as upcoming features and specials that he thought I might enjoy. Todd took the time to learn a bit about my tastes. Not too often does the waitstaff go far enough on a busy Saturday night to learn much about a guests likes and dislikes. We decided on the Calamari appetizer 6/10 which was good even if a bit middle of the road and I would say it was a little on the tough side but certainly passable and decent given the good flavor. We also had the "Bang Bang" shrimp appetizer 10/10 which consist of 6 medium shrimp served over a bed of a lettuce radicchio type of mixture and topped with a hot and slightly sweet sauce. The sauce had plenty of bang from the Cayenne pepper but was "spot on" perfect. Delicious! Do NOT miss this appetizer! It is banging! Salads were fresh and crisp as a salad should be but completely peripheral to the appetizers and entrees. We all ended up sharing a bit family style so it added to the fun and insight into future selections. I ordered the Chicken Marsala 8/10 and added on a delicious lump crab cake. This was all delicious but I must give a nod to a fully conceived and delicious Remoulade sauce 10/10. The Marsala could have used more of the delicious sauce and the chicken could have been slightly more tender but no biggie. The sauce contained chopped Prosciutto which added a different not that I liked being a Prosciutto lover. The crab cakes were mostly lump crab and were falling apart due to lack of breading. I like this type of cake but understand others do not. It also is more of a "Chesapeake" style having no red or green peppers. I found that with the remoulade sauce that these were very nice crab cakes indeed 7/10. My partner ordered the Filet Mignon 8/10 and added a crab cake as well. His filet was tender and temperature perfect. The filet itself was also a nice thick and even cut. As a side dish he ordered the potatoes gratin 10/10. They were absolutely delicious. Mom ordered a delicious Red fish filet 9/10 that was perfectly prepared and swathed in clarified butter if memory serves. On the other end was a delicious stuffed sea bass evenings special that was delicious 9/10. It seems that everything that came my way was superb. It was a great meal and one for which Todd made sure that we wanted for nothing. Take a trip to this Bonefish and you should be pleasantly surprised by both the good food and possibly by Todd who through his attentive service and knowledge elevated our meal from good to exceptional. Thanks Bonefish and a big thank you to Todd as well. Overall Rating Food/Service/Ambience 8/10 Excellent

If you're looking for "Fine Dining" in Chattanooga...uhhh you may want to go elsewhere. I have been in Chattanooga for almost a year, and to my surprise I have yet to find a fine dining restaurant with an exquisite menu. This is a chain restaurant, but I must say their sister restaurant Carrabas has them beat with the menu, flavor, and the whole experience...Hands Down! Flavors didn't mesh at all, nothing special about any of it to me. Outside of the the service, ambiance, and drinks were nice...the Bang Bang shrimp everyone raves about was not a Bang for me, but they were good. If you're looking for good food, I might give them a thumbs up...but if you're looking for exceptional food....not so much.

All I have to say is FANTASTIC! The service was over the top, the food was phenomenal, and the whole evening was perfect. We were meeting some family that was passing through town on their way to Kentucky, so time was of the essence. Four of us arrived early, explained our situation, and our servers were more than accommodating. We got appetizers while we waited for the rest of our party (get the Bang Bang Shrimp -- trust me). Then we pre-ordered for everybody, and the server waited for us to give her the okay to get the kitchen started on it. Every bite of food we had was amazing, from the Corn Chowder to the Crab Cakes, to the Fish Tacos and Fish and Chips. We were stuffed but managed to split the Macadamia nut Brownie among the 8 of us since it was my birthday. :) This was my first time at Bonefish Grill, but it will NOT be my last!

My wife and I ate here last Saturday night. I will have to say they have kicked it up a notch since our last visit. It has gone from very good to excellent. I had shrimp that was perfect and my wife had stuffed tuna. The veggies were even good. We will be going back soon.

Yes, it is a chain, but quality counts and the food and service are great! The Chattanooga location is excellent. The decor is swanky and intimate and the service is top notch. The food is delicious. Probably nothing special for a foodie, but for the average Joe or Jane, (like me!), it is yummy. I went to a location in Milwaukee, and the decor wasn't as nice and the service was definitely lacking. But the Chatt location is wonderful.

Some people shun chains. I shun some chains, but Bonefish is one chain I am happy to see when I visit a new city. Tonight I enjoyed a nice dinner at Bonefish's Chattanooga restaurant, adjacent to Highland Place Mall. The service at the bar was superb, and the Imperial Atlantic Tilefish special, stuffed with crab meat, scallops, and shrimp was wonderful at $19.30. Bonefish in general has mastered the restaurant business. Caring and knowledgeable staff who are appropriately attentive serving up a wonderfully prepared variety of food makes for a consistently good dining experience from location to location. Before you totally rule out chains, give Bonefish a try. You'll be glad you did.

Bonefish was recommended by our friends and it surpassed our expections. The service was outstanding and the food was well presented and excellent quality in taste and design. The Bang Bang shrimp was a good as advised . My fish dish was one of their specials and very reasonable priced. Order well and you will not be disappointed with your dining experience at Bonefish!

The food, drinks, and service was great here. I don't recall the name of my drink but it was very tasty. My only problem was that i ate both an appetizer and had a entree and was still hungry..the portions sizes aren't very large but the food is excellent.

I travel a lot and when I'm in a strange city and don't find a local joint that gets me excited, I look for a Bonefish. One of the best chain restaurants. Always a good piece of fish, the Bang Bang shrimp are GREAT, and service is usually capable with a nice ambiance. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I took a party of six to celebrate my wife's birthday... Food was very good, and service was very good... but the manager said we were too loud... He hit my wife on the back with a table napkin as he was asking her to be quiet. He was very rude. If we had been unruly, I would understand, but this was not the case... this was six forty something ladies having a birthday celebration, and behaving like adults... We WON"T BE BACK !!!

droooool. chain-shmain... this is a spectacular restaurant. EVERY time we go, we are 110% satisfied. chef's even do special requests for old specialty entrees if you ask nicely & the main ingredients are on the current menu. the chocolate martini knocked me on my booty, thank goodness for my designated driver!! wide variety of wines, very courteous & friendly waitstaff ... though we have never managed to leave room for dessert. you can't go wrong @ Bonefish Grill!!!
