Overall, an above average, very decent Chinese buffet that's popular with the business/retired crowd. Lunch buffet is $7.05 w/ tax. While the restaurant itself is pretty tired looking, I think most will be impressed with the large selection of items to choose from--four or five buffet tables plus a hibachi and sushi bar. The center tables had all your classic Chinese-American dishes that were honestly pretty average. All the breaded and fried items (sesame chicken, general tso chicken, etc) were either dry and chewy or mushy. Not very fresh. A few standouts were the fried dumplings (who doesn't love that soy, ginger and scallion sauce), the surprising variety of steamed dumplings, pepper shrimp, and the Bankok chicken which is over by the hibachi items next to some of the driest most pathetic looking "steaks" I've ever seen. A handful of soups and seafood items are included too. There's one table of American fair including powdered mashed potatoes, huge links of "Italian" sausage, a dried out honey ham sitting in a inch of water, mysterious looking fish fingers, a frozen pepperoni pizza and soggy oven fries--I didn't get near any of it. So what, you ask, makes this place stand out? The hibachi and sushi bars make it a great value--especially for lunch. Most of the locals will be loading up on fried rice and egg rolls which leaves both wide open even with a crowd. Lots of rolls to choose from--a rainbow roll on a lunch buffet? Don't see that very often! Avoid the ones with cream cheese--just filler. Fix a plate of raw meat and veggies and hand it to the hibachi cook along with the sauce you'd like and you'll get about as fresh a plate of food you can get at a buffet. Finish with a plate of fruit and you'll easily get your money's worth!

Pros: Tons of selection (Including Mongolian Style Barbecue); Low price for lunch buffet ($6 and change-don't know about dinner) you can get in and out in a hurry if you are on a quick lunch break, friendly service, really good Chinese food- considering ... Cons: Not what you will get in China...or even Chinatown USA... We wanted to try something new for lunch and had no time. I saw the storefront and thought "ugh! Another Chinese style buffet in the Deep South...tasteless, greasy food...with no imagination or authenticity" But what we got was a FEAST! I am from the DC area..so I am not saying this is like extremely high quality Chinese food, but it is certainly better than most of the Chinese food I have had in the Chattanooga area and I am certainly a fan. Huge selection! Multiple tables so you are bound to find something you like... Seafood (seemingly fresh), Mongolian Barbecue, whole dessert section, a lot of the old favorite (Americanized) Chinese dishes (teriyaki, sweet and sour, kung pao etc etc). I really enjoy the Bangkok Chicken- cooked with Jalapenos; also like their dumplings-both fried and steamed. They have a table with traditional American dishes..this is disappointing to me but I guess they feel they have to please everyone. $12.00-$15.00 total lunch bill for me and the GF. She is a vegetarian and hard to please..but she is happy with their veggie selection (not just onions and peppers) and they have tofu dishes.

Pretty decent buffet. It actually had all the things you would see in a Asian populated area buffet. Hence, this buffet just didn't just throw things together to just call a buffet. And they actually have more of the not so typical dishes. Which is A+ because most cheap buffets in non Asian towns usually serve the typical.

The place is pretty run down but the food is good. I don't eat anywhere without consulting Yelp first and the reviews here aren't super solid. As a big time foodie, I recommend this place. I went Sunday which means dinner menu all day. The price is very right and you'll enjoy the food. The guy on the hibachi grill wasn't friendly at all but he did the food exactly how I requested he do it so I appreciate that vs. my trip to a similar establishment in the area recently where he kept adding oil when I said not to. Definitely give this place a go!

We work in food service, and this was absolutely horrible. After great hesitation we decided to try out the buffet. The food on their hot tables looked day old and some was sitting in completely stagnant water. With my first bite, the food was cold. After a couple more bites my stomach was turning and I pushed my plate away. My boyfriend experienced the same nausea and barely took a couple bites. When trying to explain to the employees that their food had made me sick, they asked me "Why?" about 10 times. They did not apologize and were extremely rude, telling me "no, no, why?". I told them I was not paying for the few bites that had made us ill and we left. I'm an agreeable customer. I serve food for a living. I'm not an asshole of a customer. These people weren't having a bad day. The food was bad and the employees were rude. This was my worst restaurant experience to date.

I should have read the reviews before I went. The hot food was just warm. The red sweet sour was too vinegary and the giant shrimp was just other giant. The coke machine needs to be checked not enough syrup. I think it needs to have a remodeling and cleaned up.

Loved it! They had tofu! I've never seen tofu at a Chinese buffet before and it was excellent! Everything was great (mushrooms, fried rice, shrimp,..) They also had a huge selection of fruit and there were a lot of tables of food to choose from. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice as well. One of the best buffets I've been to.

Just ate at Asia buffet in lee hwy.. It was rated 4 stars so I gave it a try after a long Memorial Day. We couldn't decide what to eat so we picked a buffet. They had signs stating they were picked the best buffet in Chattanooga..... Let me star by saying there's like 2-3 buffet in this town and that must be the reason... I'll been to many buffet and I know buffets aren't always clean but this place is absolutely ridiculous. First they don't say hi and brings out drink 15min of eating. Then the owner comes by and trying to sell some cheap toys and fake jewelry. Their food? Hmmmm looks like leftover, foods all dry. Some trays are empty... U have to ask to get the food. Spoon and forks are dirty!! Will not come back. If I had money I would open a buffet much better then this. I hope this helps for some customer. Everyone is different but for me not a good place to go. Oh btw sushi is not worth it!! U will be sick! Hope this help someone

Surprisingly, this place is very good. Espec for the value. Food was very fresh. Huge variety. Good sushi bar. Awesome hibachi grille, the guy can really cook. Crawfish, clams, shrimp, mussel, etc. It has it all. Very crowded so you know the place is good. I will definitely be back when I am in town again.

So I've come to the conclusion that most buffets are the same...nothing great and nothing bad. This was typical. Lots of choices, food was warm, but not a lot of everything. Do not recommend the low mein; too much oil, not as much taste. Sushi bar offered plenty of options!

The best buffet in Chattanooga. Hands down. I've eaten at almost every Chinese buffet in this city and they are the best. They have the biggest selection of food and the largest sushi buffet I've seen in a buffet, plus they have a hibachi grill that's included. No place is perfect, so yes, you might find a few things that you don't like. Some people take the servers as rude but honestly, it's because they don't speak very good English. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they could use a little remodeling. Outside and inside. Booths are a little worn and one of the fountains in front is broke but don't let it fool you, the food is great. Try it and enjoy! ;)

I have to say I have been here many times but will not return for a long time if ever! Seems to be going down hill! Last week I went about 5 PM...not a lot of people there so I understand why there wasn't fresh food put out but there again that could be why so few!! Everything I had was dried out and old and even some empty trays!

We find this place pretty solid and have paid return visits. For an all-you-can eat buffet, you get a pretty good deal. It's nothing fancy, just your everyday lunch place. But the food selection is pretty extensive, and they keep the trays filled. We seem to always find ourselves going for the same items. We like the sushi bar - sometimes they have these triangular makis dusted with masago that are good. Rainbow rolls, salmon/tuna with cream cheese are our preferred sushi because they aren't overwhelmed with sauce and because they contain raw fish. We like: hot & sour w/ scallion & fried noodle, chicken feet, shrimp shumai (from dim sum section), fried dough, stuffed mushrooms, all their stir fried veggies, shrimp cocktail, crawfish, hibachi, clams. Their fruits are pretty sweet and fresh. And of course, the dessert bar does not disappoint. Friends of our family won a car from their car giveaway!
