The wife and I had a great experience at whisky creek. The service was excellent. We had loaded wedge potatoes as a appetizer and the meal was ( combo 3) pulled pork, grilled ribs , brisket. ..WERE GREAT WE WILL BE BACK !!!

30 mins for wings at 9pm with an empty restaurant?? Not nice. Cocktails are tiny sized too. Go somewhere else.

Food was ok. Got there early for dinner. Very slow service. Bar was busy and our waitress was the bartender. Slow to get anything. Had to ask for our bill because we had to go. Got tired of waiting.

Had a burger. Wish I had gone with something different. The burger was bland. I later found out that I was supposed to use special ketchup... whatever. Good and friendly service. A tad on the pricey side for what I ordered.

Went here with my wife for a birthday dinner. Seated immediately on a weekend which is always nice. I had the Jim Beam® steak with sweet potato fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife's steak was good as well. The waitress kept our drinks full and was very welcoming.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant at least 4 times. Every time we go there hoping it will be better but we are always disappointed. HORRIBLE service. HORRIBLE FOOD. I have tried the baby back ribs and they were burnt. I tried the prime rib and it tasted like horrible roast beef. We now dread going there whenever we are invited. I would not recommend it to anyone!!

I came to Brookings on a business trip and whiskey creek is very close to the hotels. Good service, great food. I really liked the wood fire prime rib. Very reasonably priced as well.

WORST prime rib ever. Prime arrived at our table COLD but we sent it back. It came back 30 seconds later and it was DRY, HARD and like warm. Told the witness we were not happy and she said she would tell the manager. A manager did not talk to us or offer to take the meal off our ticket. Instead we were charged for 2 beers and sent on our way. NICE!! They let two VERY UNSATISFIED guests leave the restaurant. Poor management, if you ask me. This is why I am posting here.

Hawaiian chicken was very good, cooked perfectly and tender. Sweet potato fries were very good. Food tastes so much better on a wood fired grill! Good service, good food, I'll be back!

Clean restaurant. Our steaks were cooked to order and came out fast. Never had to ask for refills.

We ordered peppercorn ribeye steaks that tasted like a regular ribeye, not a hint of peppercorn. The sides were okay, but our general impression was overall blandness. The tootsie roll appetizers are inventive and yummy, though. We did order the turtle cheesecake for dessert, and it was quite good, but obviously bought and not made there. We were just less than impressed.

Has awesome food and love all the staff. Try the tootsy roll appetizer. Have a really good happy hour Monday-Friday 2-6pm and 9pm-close. Check it out if your in the area!
