The aroma in this place is heavenly! Really friendly service. Really tasty food. I could do with a bit more selection, but I suppose it's appropriate for a restaurant this size. The samosas are flaky and well flavored. And the chutneys are addictive! A must to start off every meal! Highly recommend!

The decor/atmosphere is definitely getting better. It has moved from a few tables in an Indian grocery store to a full restaurant. The rest of the experience is not so good. Every time I have been in there it has been practically deserted. The food has been pretty good for what you pay up until now mostly because an entree would run you about $7. It seems to me that they use the same curry base for most of their curries and then just add the herb packets that they sell at the attached grocery store to get whatever curry you order. They went up on their prices also. Entrees now run $10-$13. The final straw this last time was my reheated microwaved garlic naan bread.

I like like Amy's frozen meals better! They have the slowest service ever. Even when no one else is in the place. Good price on appetizers not so great for what you get on the rest. Small portions. I ordered hot the first time and I could not eat it. Medium the next not much better.

Their food is some of the best Indian food I've had. They have a great lunch buffet with a variety of options. The prices are reasonable and the service is SPECTACULAR. The couple who owns the restaurant are so attentive and accommodating, and make you feel right at home. They can be a little hard to see, but they are in a white building in the same area as the movie theater and Goodwill. It's worth your time to check it out. ALSO, they sell SDSU ice cream.

Surprisingly good Indian food, and very reasonably priced. Their location is easy to miss though, they are on the back side of the Moriarty Rentals building, facing the Goodwill and Family Dollar stores.
