I guess you have to take into consideration that this review is based on their first day open to the public so keep that in mind. But here goes.... This is a new wing/sports bar joint that has opened adjacent/connected to the Quality Inn and Suites. The interior has been completely remodeled and looks great compared to what was there before. Several flat screens with a definite sports bar theme. Looks like a stage has been put in for possible bands playing in the future or karaoke night. Bar was dimly lit at the time but it is a full bar and it looks like there's a decent draft beer selection. As for the food/menu... Their menu consists of your typical sports bar fare. Fried appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, ribs and of course wings. Considering the place sells itself as a wing joint I figured I'd try those first. Ordered a 12 piece for $12.99....$12.99!!! That's simply too expensive for a dozen chicken wings that come with no sides (just dressing and celery). More than $1.00 per wing is ridiculous in my book and I believe this pricing strategy will ultimately hurt their business in the long run. Also their prices do not improve significantly with increased quantities either. I believe a 40 piece was going for $36.99. In the end I paid approx $17.00 for 12 wings, a water, and tip. That gets you a steak dinner at most places. Back to the food... Wings took a while to get to me, about 40 minutes, but again I'll chalk that up to this being the restaurant's first day. I ordered two flavors (Wikked Hot and Parmesan Garlic) both wet sauces. Wikked Hot was good but had very little heat for what appeared to be their "hottest" buffalo style wing. The Parmesan Garlic sauce was excellent. I had mixed feelings about their actual wings though. The wing size was inconsistent. They varied from "medium" to "jumbo". I actual prefer a "medium" sized wing as they tend to cook crispier and more evenly. Those were excellent. The larger wings (of which was half the portion) were slightly undercooked in my opinion and could have used some more time in the fryer. Again though, this was the kitchen staff's first day open to the public so they're probably still working out the kinks. I will try again after giving the place a week to work out the kinks out and if my experience improves I will update and increase my rating accordingly, but I'll probably order something else if their wing prices stay the same.

Ok so I really wanted to like this place. I mean I really did. Number one it's not in the greatest of places. Number two when you first walk it it really feels like a hotel restaurant ( maybe because it used to be) the dining area feels more like a club than a restaurant. All the tables had office chairs for seats and the place was very dark inside for a sports bar. The food was ok. The wings had almost no real flavor to them and the dipping sauce came in the same containers that they give out at like dominos. It's almost as if this place is an ok bar that's trying to be a sports themed restaurant. Sorry guys..

The first time I came the food was terrible so I came again to give it a second try since the place is new but it didn't get better. The wings price is ridiculous its like $1.09 per wing. The fries don't look appetizing. The place looks like a basement its dark and dingy looking. Its a sports bar but they don't have the NFL package to offer customers their teams game. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly though. Overall I rather go somewhere else and if i can go all the way to Columbia Im never coming here again.

Kind of disappointing. First of all - the restaurant is very dark and reminds me more of a lounge/bar. Good if you are looking for that dark sports bar feel. Wait staff are very attentive. Nachos were okay. Chili with ground beef was slightly sweet in flavor. The wings were actually pretty good. Too bad they were out of onion rings. And we ate there at noon. Beer battered fries were pretty good substitute. Overall I am just not that impressed. When we got our check, the waitress waited at the table for the bill to be paid. I even told her to give me a minute and she continued to stand there. I am not sure if she needed to leave soon or what. So unfortunately I reflected that in her tip.

Great wings, but kitchen has to work on order completeness. Some of the order came out cold and then it was simply re-fried to warm it up which made it more greasy. The beer was also above what is the normal temp for beer to be served at. Wait staff and bartender both didn't know proper temp. Education is the best way to make the customer happy.

First experience was great. Second, so so. Third is in the making but not promising. Don't get the onion rings. They smell/taste like old beer. Burgers are good. Just like everyone else says, it's dark in there. Nice office chairs at some of the tables which is different. Depending on when you go is how your service will be.

"Meh. I've experienced better." -- exactly sums up the food/experience here. First, I know this is in a hotel, but is it a bar or is it a restaurant? If it is a restaurant, can we get some more lighting and some chairs that don't have wheels? Also, regardless of whether you're a bar or a restaurant, why the heck are you kicking people out at 3PM on a Sunday because you want to close? Why open on Sunday at all? Do you realize its football season, you serve wings, and people may come to watch the game? Seriously?? Second, the food is definitely "meh" quality. The broccoli beer cheese soup had good flavor but was a little too runny for a typical broccoli cheese soup. Also, it came out more warm than hot. The Wikked Hot sauce is hot just for the sake of being hot and has no real flavor to speak of. The 'lukewarm' and "room temperature' sauces are also nothing to really write home about. Whatever base sauce they use for these two sauces we weren't crazy about. The lemon pepper dry rub is okay, but definitely more on the salty end than we were used to. The salad and pepperjack mac and cheese were good, but then again, its really hard to screw up a salad or mac and cheese. Ehhh, if you want good wings and don't mind the drive, come on out to Columbia for Wild Wing Cafe, Hooters, or Buffalo Wild Wings. If you want to stick around Sumter, go to Applebees. They have better wings than Wikked does.

Went on an evening when they had the comedy show. The show was surprisingly funny and well worth the $10 admission fee. Make reservations because they were only letting people in that had them. They have a decent selection of domestic and craft beers with 10-12 on tap. I gave this 1 star strictly because of the food. I had fish tacos, mac & cheese and fries. The food was cold and barely edible. I understand that they were busy and somewhat shorthanded when it came to staff but that's no excuse for how poorly this food was prepared or tasted. Fresh ingredients are definitely not a priority for this place! Several people at my table ordered wings and said they were just mediocre and one person got the coleslaw and said it tasted like finger nail polisher remover...however; the waitress did put out a disclaimer on how terrible the coleslaw tasted. I'd go back for another comedy show or just to hang out for drinks but I definitely will not be purchasing food from there again.

This was our first visit to wikked wings and we were expecting great things based on word of mouth advertising by friends. The wings were great! They weren't overly seasoned and they were meaty and cooked well. The fries and onion rings were beer battered and the girls weren't crazy about them. I thought they were good. Sweet potato fries were great! Raw fries (chips) would be a great alternative to fries or rings. Overall, we were satisfied with the meal and service. We may go back and try some other things.
