This place grows their own herbs and spices in the back and the portions were huge. The food was good considering this is a small place in a small area. The waitress was friendly and was apologetic when the food came late. I would go back again if I crave thai food when I am at Sumter.

I went here for the lunch buffet. They had about 12 dishes on one bar. All that I had were flavorful, some were spicy, some were not. They had another bar where you could build your own lettuce wraps. Everything was very good.

Been here twice. Dirty never had any good on the buffet. This time my wife was eating and found a huge black hair about 6 inches long in her food. We paid for the drinks and left. Never going back.

Not great. I met a friend here for lunch at 1130...they let us in but apparently they did not plan on opening this early. The buffet was mostly ready at least but it seemed more Chinese than Thai. The orange chicken and the pork(?) and onions were pretty good, but I thought the pad thai was super bland and everything else was really spicy. Finally I saw two bugs resembling young roaches climbing the walls...not a good sign in broad daylight. I won't be back.

They have large portions, so you may have leftovers if you don't come in hungry. Great authentic flavors. Fresh herbs grown right out back. Dated building but clean interior. I would recommend this restaurant for the home cooked Thai food experience.

My wife and I love Thai food (she is from southeast Asia) and this place is our favorite in Sumter. Most people know them for their huge lunch buffet but I am not a buffet person, I prefer my food freshly prepared so I usually only come here for dinner. The owner, Susan, is an absolute peach. She is from Thailand and grows all of her own herbs and spices in a makeshift garden behind the restaurant which you can really taste in the food. The Pad Thai is great and the portions are huge; I usually get it with chicken and shrimp and let me tell you, the shrimp are huge. My favorite however is the yellow curry. I always get it to go - it comes in a big plastic container about the size of 2-3 portions. I let it sit out overnight (curry is always best the next day) and then eat it with rice, quinoa or lentlis. It is just so freaking good, I sometimes get it once or twice a week. Susan doesn't have a big staff (sometimes only one other person working there, often her son or daughter) and this is not a "fancy" dining place by any means (the place is not dirty, it's just an old bulding) but it is absolutely authentic Thai food, some of the best I've ever had. My wife loves the lunch buffet, she says the variety of southeast Asian dishes along with fresh vegetables, soups, spices and condiments/sauces is amazing. I think the buffet costs about 7 or 8 bucks a person, well worth it.

We love this place! I've had the pad Thai both times and it's outstanding. The service has been exceptional. Definitely will be going back again.

The red curry was delicious. It was different than any Thai curry I have had before (very heavy on lemongrass) but I really enjoyed it. Service was good and you get free refills on thai tea!
