I had chicken stir fry with bell peppers, cashew nuts, pineapple that tasted good. Nice location easy to find . we went on Sunday so not so much traffic Good service, friendly staff. Next time I want to try out fried rice. My friend had that and said it was really good

Food- Great! We loved the red curry, and the Masaman curry was pretty good, though the potatoes tasted like they were cooked in water and then added at the last minute instead of being cooked in the curry. We also had the chicken satay, which was yummy. Service- Left much to be desired. The hostess said we could sit wherever we wanted, but she forgot to give us menus. It took a good 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. The rest of the service was about the same. Our food took quite a while to arrive, and we always had to stop our waitress if we needed more water or napkins. Ambiance- Not great. It could be because they just opened recently, but they were having trouble with the AC, and it was pretty hot in there. The waitress said they were working on it, but it never got cooler. Also, the place only had one high chair! A family with a toddler came before us, so ours had to sit on my lap for the majority of the meal. We may order take-out because we liked the food, but we will not likely dine in again.

I am Asian and I have had a lot of Thai food so I know what I am talking about. It's not the most fancy Thai restaurant you can go but the food is definitely delicious. I had the red curry and the basil dish, both fantastic. I would recommend the basil dish if you enjoy a bit of spicy. The service is a bit slow but they are still in the process of hiring people. For having only one server going around, she was very efficient and nice. And the mango sticky rice desert is my favorite too!

I was excited when not one, but two new Thai restaurants opened in Summerville. We've tried both and Pick Thai is not my favorite. From what we've tried, the flavors fell a little flat. Everything was okay but not, WOW. The service is mediocre. When calling one night to make a take-out order, admittedly close to closing time, they were less than enthusiastic which tells me they don't want *my* business.

Love this place. So glad we actually found not just a good restaurant near home, but a good Thai one! Ambiance is nice. Server was nice. Food was great. We had the fresh spring rolls, beef pad kee mow, and chicken curry. Then for dessert, the mango and sticky rice. Everything was great. The FIRST thing I thought of when I not only saw the menu options, but then tried the food was the expensive option of the restaurant Basil in Mt. P. or downtown Charleston. Very similar yet so much closer to home and more affordable. Glad we found this place.

My husband and I stopped by here recently to check it out. We had eaten at the Thai restaurant up the street from Pick Thai and really enjoyed it. Of course after living in Hawaii and Guam we have kind of specific expectations of most types of Asian cuisine and are always on the lookout for something reminiscent of our favorites from the islands. I do have to say that Pick Thai is a larger venue that the alternative up the street. The dining room is bigger and brighter and feels a bit more open. Upon arrival we were seated very promptly and service was pretty good. We ordered a couple of starters - the stuffed shrimp and crispy crab wontons - and I also ordered the Thai iced tea. The iced tea was Thai-tastic but the apps were more on the fair to middling side. I can't remember if we ordered the pad thai or pad kee mao but I do remember that it was, too, just OK. Overall the service was OK and the food was just OK. The only thing this place really trumps the other Summerville Thai restaurant on is size and parking. Also I found it odd that they didn't actually ask what heat level we preferred for our food. I don't know if they just don't ask or if the server rudely assumed that we wouldn't want something with a little kick?

OPEN ON SUNDAYS!! This place was originally on our to-eat list when we moved here, but we were told that another Thai restaurant located relatively close was much better, so we always ate there. We decided to try this place because it was Sunday and they were practically the only place open in the Summerville/Ladson area on Sunday. So we tried it....... And, this is our new Thai spot. We always get Pad See-ew, Chicken Satay, and Tom Kha Kai at Thai restaurants, and Pick Thai does it right. The Tom Kha Kai was great, I usually don't like it because the cilantro is overpowering, but it was perfect. The Pad See-ew was very flavorful and saucy. Some places tend to make it too dry and as a result the noodles are light colored. Pick Thai's Pad See-ew was DARK and had plenty of juice. One of the best and affordable Thai places I've been to. I would rank it overall #2 of all Thai places (#1 being in San Diego/Oceanside, Ca area).

Pad Thai & Cryin Tiger are my favorites. And don't forget the chicken sate' for an appetizer. Great flavors, relaxing atmosphere.

Meal was good. Had Pad Thai medium heat. It was very mild had nothing on the table to spice it up. Had good flavor tho. It just needed more heat. I would recommend this. I will definitely be back.

All around sub par :( I really wanted to like this place because I love some Thai food. But this just doesn't cut it. I'll give them one more shot if I really get a craving again but for now it's a no go. Food wasn't awful. But it was nothing special. Crab Rangoons were over cooked and definitely arrived at this place frozen. Pad Thai and whatever my wife got were both pretty lack luster in flavor. Meat was chewy and flavorless. I took some of my pad thai noodles home and reheated them with some steak I made myself and it was pretty good. Noodles were fine, just the whole thing needs more flavor. As for service, I hate to give them too hard of a time because apparently the hostess didn't show up to work and our server was doing his(her) job as well. Regardless it was very slow service. And my biggest peeve was violated...apps coming out at the same time as entrees. C'mon guys, all about timing. Shouldn't be too hard in a place that seats maybe 20-30 folks. Anyway, this place needs some work.

Food was great including the vegetable spring rolls. The mango sticky rice was to die for!!!! Only complaint was their tea isn't freshly brewed but out of a fountain. Great atmosphere and the service was good. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different in Summerville

This is THE best Thai food I have ever had in Charleston! This place beats Basil and Mei Thai by a LONG shot! The Thai tea is amazing..perfect! I had the egg rolls, chicken satay, and pad see ew and it was all to die for! I will definitely be back every week! This is now my favorite restaurant in the charleston area!

Our first dining experience at Pick Thai was a truly exceptional one. The food was delicious and presented in a most appealing way. Our server"AJ" provided excellent, timely and courteous service. Her pleasant personality only served to enhance a very pleasant atmosphere. The price of the meal and wine was very reasonable making Pick Thai an affordable Summerville dining option as well a truly delicious one!

Only have been one time, I thought it was very good. Other than being a tad pricey, the food was tasty and the rice was excellent.

Excellent food, excellent find. Only been once, so can't vouch for consistency, but such a pleasant surprise for our party of four.

The landscape of Summerville certainly is changing these days with the arrival of not 1 but 2 Thai restaurants in the last few months. Pick Thai is the newest addition. Located in the heart of downtown Summerville, this restaurant resides in the former Sweetwater Cafe location on the square. When we visited, it looked like they were still in the midst of getting things up and running, but that did not affect the food or the service. I will say that the Fresh Shrimp Basil Rolls were some of the best I have ever tried. Such flavor and freshness! The sweet chili and peanut sauces that came along with them were also noteworthy. I tried the Panang Curry. The vegetables were tender and flavorful. The sauce was not too heavy on coconut milk. So it hit just the right note to my palate. The portions were slightly smaller than some other Thai places we have visited, but we did go during lunch. Prices are very reasonable at lunch so maybe the smaller portions are reflected. It's definitely worth a try for all local Thai fans.

Great Thai food. Everything on the menu is good. There's nothing special about the décor, no special music tunes or service. Go to Pick Thai for the food , especially the curry dishes.

Summerville location.......The place looks bad inside to start, but I was hungry. The waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and I asked what they had. She had to go over and look at the drink machine to find out. I asked her about a few dishes and she had no clue. Know what you are selling. I ordered red curry. It was average. Rice was dry, cold, and old.Small portion for the price. The place is freezing inside and smells like gas. Won't go back.
