Good morning We just stayed the night at the holiday inn express in Summerville SC what an experience it was The bed sheets did not fit the bed The bathroom sink would not drain and when u took a shower the sink would fill up The pancake machine was broken Coffee was cold Egg omelets where crusty and dried out No waffle machine Have to say this was one of our worst experiences staying at a t hotel with children. We stayed at the HIE because of the breakfast for the children and were extremely disappointed and had to find breakfast elsewhere Gary

More than disappointing. Disclaimer: This particular review is about how I originally messed up... but how this hotel handled it. Back in August I stayed here with my fiance and his family due to a death in the family. We stayed one night, and of course I left my Clarisonic in the shower. Now, for those of you who don't know what that is... it is a fancy face washer. So fancy it cost me $150 dollars. I realize that I am a complete idiot for leaving such a pricey item. However, I know that I am not the only person on the planet who has ever left something in a hotel room. So this is why I don't recommend this hotel. Their employees are clearly dishonest. About an hour after checking out of the hotel room I called the Holiday Inn to let them know about my missing item. Still to this day they "can't find it". How? How can you not find something that was in a hotel room that isn't normally there. Someone had to have cleaned out that room. The bottom line is that I wouldn't trust the house keeping staff. Don't leave nice things laying around. They obviously have sticky fingers! Also... I learned my lesson... don't leave anything fancy in a hotel room!!

Great beds clean rooms great customer service from 5 to 7 they had appetizers. This was a good place.

Insanely slow internet connection. Otherwise average. Why is it that in 2012 the name most widely known in hotels can barely provide a connection better than a phone modem. This hotel is not alone unfortunately.
