Every time we've been there the wait is long, food is fair and service is terrible. Always hate when people want to meet there. The only plus is there beer selection.

I've been a few time's and have been as a couple, and a large group. Service is great, food is always great.

Ate here a while back and the food was very good. Split a bucket of beers with my dad and father in law but did not try any fancy crafts or anything. The server was polite and knowledgeable... When I asked for "a lot" of ranch dressing on the side of my buffalo chicken wrap (which was excellent) he brought me like 4 big side containers of ranch. That made us all laugh and enjoy delicious creamy ranch!

Its a great place to eat if paying cash, their is a waitress that fudges the tip and apparently she has been there for a while. Sad to think how many customers she has been doing that to and didnt realize it.

I'm surprised about the reviews. We have been there about 3 or 4 times now and I haven't been disappointed. The food is phenomenal and I don't say that online very often. The wine tasted better than I've had anywhere else and did I say the food was fantastic? The only thing Im not so thrilled about are all those television sets so my husband is in his own world. But, oh well, I've got great food and great wine.....I'm happy.

Football season, my favorite time of the year! A friend told me about this great new sports bar, so we went there last Sunday to spend week 1 of the NFL season. We found a great spot at the bar to watch my game, but since my friends game was on a TV right above our heads around the outside frame of the bar, he did a lot of standing to be able to see his. We made lots of new football friends and had a great time. The bartender was excellent, and figured out to bring us a shot every time the Steelers scored a touchdown. It was recommended that we try the fries with pork and a ranch sauce. Somehow Carolina Ale House is able to put all of that stuff on top of the fries, but they still stay crispy. Really yummy. I plan on spending many of my NFL Sundays at CAH.

Don't understand the low reviews for this place, visited twice this month and the experience has been very positive. Not to mention the place is always full. We ordered a few beers (great selection), the cheese curds and wings (all drums) as appetizer. We also ordered the ribs (full rack) with fries and rice pilaf. The meat was tender, moist and well cooked. The atmosphere and decor are well balanced. The service was phenomenal, great job Sara L. Her attention to details was phenomenal, I'll be back! Good job guys!

The Ale House in Charleston is a great place to eat with excellent service, great views and interesting and tasty menu items. !

I like this place, great beer selection, love sitting outside even if there is a lot of highway noise. But the wings are just awful. First of all, they're breaded. Nasty. No respectable restaurant breads their wings anymore. Secondly, the sauce is dreadful. It's this oily, more yellowish than red stuff that really made us feel queasy afterward. I prefer a nice vibrant red buffalo sauce. Also the honey buffalo had a weird sweetness to them but it definitely didn't taste like honey. I'd like to go back for football games, but I really like some good wings to go with my football. Those nasty wings might be a deal breaker for me. Fix your buffalo sauce. Stop breading your wings. That's the best advice I can give you, CAH.

Stopped by on this Thursday evening for a quick burger and fries with my hubby. Even though it was crowded, we were seated quickly and had the best waitress in the house. Heather was attentive and quick to meet our needs. The Pub burgers tasted as though they came off of our grill at home. And omg, the fries! Hot, crispy on the outside, moist in the middle and just the right amount of that salty/sweet seasoning... We'll go back for sure.

This place is great! So much to choose from on tap and I love that they have a beer brochure telling you about all of them. The loaded fries were AWESOME and my friends and I couldn't stop eating them, there wasn't a single crumb left. There prices are super reasonable and it was packed even on a Tuesday night. I didn't have anything other than beer or fries because I went to just ha your and watch some sports but I will definitely make this a local spot.

Food is nasty & old tasting. Customer service is terrible & management seems to NOT be doing their job. They make you feel unwelcome & rush you out the door if you are not drinking alcohol & with your family.

  • Peter H.

Great atmosphere and lots of tvs. Food is big portion and very tasty and came pretty fast. Other then the french onion soup was way too salty, I don't have any other negative comment about this place. Best place for a group gathering and they have two pool tables and a fuusball table at the bar area which is a dumbs up. Overall great experience

We have been there before and felt we have had better service. We were a party of 6 and they were able to seat us right away (slow for a Sunday around 6:30pm) They were out of pizza dough ( no pizza... Boo) Carolina 'que sandwich came without the coleslaw. We wait 45 minutes to get our food. But the food was amazing. I'm sure it was just an off night for them, but we would go back for the food!!

My husband ordered a double Makers on the rocks, she pours one shot from one side turns the shot over and pours one from a smaller side, still got charged for two shots! Never again. Watched her do this for several other drink orders

I went here for some drinks with friends so I wanted to review it. Carolina Ale House is a fairly new restaurant near the Nexton development, and it's a sports bar with tons of TVs. Seriously, it's like TV and sports overload. If you like beer, they have tons of them on tap and they do run specials. My friends are big beer drinkers, so they liked that. I looked at the mixed drink menu and didn't see anything I wanted, so I asked if they had Bailey's and Coffee. The server didn't know if they could do that for me, so he had to ask at the bar. CAH has coffee on the menu, and Bailey's is pretty common, so I'm not sure why it was such a big deal, but anyway. I got my drink a bit after my friends, but it was tasty. The food is typical bar food and it's not the best bar food in Charleston. I also thought a few prices (not the beer) were a bit expensive for Summerville.

  • Damon W.

The best part of the meal was the tea. Two stars for that. But what I felt after eating the food was killer my stomach was killing me all last night after eating less than seven of they wings. My daughter had the Reuben which came out cold so too did the bacon cheese fries. But mostly just saw people drinking maybe that should have been a queue.

  • Jessica D.

I've been here a few times before and had better service and food, but today wasn't great. I think the server was new, so nothing against her because you could tell she was trying to learn. However, I just got the CAH salad and quite a bit of the lettuce was soggy and bad and they forgot to even add the croutons. My husband enjoyed his Carolina dipper and the spinach dip was delish, but the salad was what stuck with me and it was really disappointing.

We have been here at least 10 times so far, so we have tried quite a bit of the foodage. Now if you are looking for a diversity of beers, this is the place to go. Tap or bottle, they have at least 30 on tap, and another 10 that are seasonal. (for Halloween they had at least 4 different pumpkins to choose from - YUMM) and for Christmas they have about 2-4 (its not as popular a season for beers?) Anyhoo - onto the food. Now if you want a burger - this is definitely the place to try. The chicken and rib combo is good as well, comes with beans and coleslaw. The servings is big enough to share. The frickles for an app are one of the best fried pickles around here. Looking for a salad? The fried chicken salad is delicious. The Island Style shrimp tacos are also a fav of mine. The things to avoid - the nachos app - really not very good at all. its a pile of nachos with about 10 pieces (small cubed pieces at that) of chicken and a huge pile of chili on top. Tons of other locations around here that have better chicken or beef nachos. the dry rub chicken comes baked. which if you are looking to save some calories, i guess is a good thing (thats why i ordered them). But I warning ya, stay away - far far away from them. I managed to get down 2 of them before I got nauseated. After that experience, we only ordered the burger for at least the next 3 months we would go here. Why would we keep going back??? Well cause they have ALL the football games on. No matter who your team is. And well, my team is not all that popular around here, so it was the only place i could watch it without paying extra to watch it at home. All in all, its not a horribly bad place, good beer, good burgers.

  • Anna B.

The atmosphere is standard sports bar. They do have a ton of TVs, and both indoor and outside dining and large bars. They were very business traveller friendly. They have late hours (2am, I think) and accept AmEx. I sat at the bar and ordered a salad. I requested the shrimp on my salad be "extra" well done, and asked if she thought that was ok or if I should just get the fried shrimp instead. She said if I wanted grilled well done, she would go back and make sure it was well done. Unfortunately, when they came out, I didn't like them. She was awesome and went back to cook them more. Unfortunately, that didn't work either, so she got me a fried shrimp salad and comped the salad for me. I was really impressed by how hard she worked to make me happy. If you go by, visit Melissa at the outside bar for great service!

If you are in the Summerville area and you crave a juicy, freash, well-put-together burger CAH should be your destination. I never thought that I would be a regular at a SportsBar/Restaurant that can make a better burger than I can make at HOME. Really. My wife and I live minutes away and are here at least once a week. The staff is always in a great mood and ALL the food is very tasty and FRESH. I did have the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich recently and I have to say it was juicy and delicious. But it does pack a hot punch...so watch it! Go see Riggs, Lindsey, Jessica or anybody at the bar for a variety of micro brewery beers and great friendly service. My wife loves that there is ABITA beer both in bottle, AND on TAP. Anyone who gives this place a negative review is just a miserable person or just needs to get laid already. Maybe both! Enjoy.

  • Danielle M.

The food has been hot and fresh every time I've been here. The selection of porters and stouts is more extensive than most other places-but you will pay for that privilege. I like coming here with friends and family alike. I can't get enough of the frickles. It's not the best dining service on Friday or Saturday night. It's just too crowded and busy. You're going to wait 45+ minutes for a table and your server will barely come by to refill drinks. At least that's been my experience every single time. The bar is easier on those nights, but it's still just easier to go somewhere else most of the time. If you don't like crowds and noise - this is not your place.

We sat down at lunchtime for a meal. After 10 minutes with no waitress in sight, we chose to leave.

Nachos were huge and tasty. Staff weren't overly friendly . Not many options on the menu. Was ok ! Won't be in a hurry to return but wasn't horrible !

Great blue cheese bacon burgers. Lots of large screens for sporting events. Food is very good. We live in the neighborhood and stopped in for lunch - sat at the bar. We were taken back when we ordered our beers -- the bartender asked for a credit card to hold. Didn't make us feel very welcome. Hasn't happened anywhere else - and we're in our 60s!

I'll say this place is not too bad....good food, cold beer with many choices....BUT....the service has something to be said for....and this is not my first experience with bad service here at the Summerville Carolina Ale House. Once again, I sat at the bar inside with friends and probably waited close to 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us and took our order. And it was not crowded...about 5pm.... Once we were settled in, Melissa took pretty good care of us along with Tyler and some big blonde amazon woman. Dont know her name or title here but she was somewhat rude and had an attitude. She must have had a bad day or something but her pissy, sourpuss attitude needs to be addressed. Now, the final problem...the bill...I was overcharged for 3 beers that I never had and said something to Melissa. It looked like she said something to my big blonde friend who apparently didn't give 2 craps... I was charged for those 3 beers I never had and ended up paying the full bill...her tip reflected my displeasure. I learned from this...to watch my bill and charges like a hawk!

Greeted by smiling friendly faces! Wait was less than expected. Our server was over the top in personality and service- William. Carolina Ale House has a phenomenal beer selection and vast, delicious food menu. Our food came quickly, fresh, and delicious! Beer was coldest in town. Manager stopped by several times to make sure all was up to par. Superior in every way!

Great place to eat, great atmosphere and really good food. The servers are great, kitchen gets the food out quickly , even though most days especially weekend they are packed and somtimes shorthanded..

Absolutely delicious food, great portions and amazing service! I loved being able to sample different beers before I committed to something. Highly recommend.

Very pricey beer food is okay just regular greasy old bar food Service fair nothing special here bartender conveniently forgot to give back change. So I had to demand my change back from them

    (1)
  • Nick W.

The food was good and reasonably priced. I had the fish tacos and loved them. Service was friendly and received my food in a timely manor. I would definitely go back. Lots of tables so wait wasn't that long either.

Decent food, not great service. I went in tonight with my husband and sister and two babies. First off I think it's rude when you see people walking in with two baby carriers to not get the door but that's irrelevant. We ordered drinks and when we got them I said thank you and the waitress said nothing. I ordered a burger and asked for mayo and she said she would bring it on the side and they didn't and my sister asked for ranch and never got it. The waitress was really indifferent and never once asked how our food was. I ordered my burger medium and it was 100% rare I would have sent it back but didn't want to be there the extra 15 min or so. It was a Wednesday night so not particularly busy. Not a terrible place but not one I would go out of my way to have dinner at either

  • Breanne C.

Sports central! The best place to go for a cold drink, a good game and great food. Plenty of TVs so there's not a bad seat in the house, the patio is my favorite when the weather is permitting. It does get packed so service has it's slow points. I've seen some people having birthday dinners there for their children which is great but it's loud with everyone cheering on the games so I'm sure they had a hard time hearing each other.

    (3)
  • Red B.

3.5 Dont know why some people are a little negative here. Large new spacious place with a few dozen tvs, pool tables, tons of little kids enjoying themselves amongst the vast sports memorabilia. Not to mention at least 90 different beers, many on tap. Place is pretty electric. What did you expect your Dinning experience to be? I thought the place was fun and food ok.

    (3)
  • Mike W.

Excellent food, beer and sports on the numerous TV's. What more could you ask for?

    (4)
  • Kevin G.

Why on earth we got this place as a new restaurant is beyond me. They spent more money on the STUPID GAWDY sports memorabilia and televisions than the quality of the food and the training of there staff!! There is very limited booth seating mostly all high top and barstool seating so if you are older and got a bad back this is NOT for you! This definitely limited there clientele and stupid of a new restaurant and they definitely did not do research on the location they were placing this restaurant in. I got the wings and asked the waitress if they were breaded she told me no. I got them and advised her they were breaded she proceeded to argue with me and say they weren't when I clearly know what I put in my mouth and have two eyes to see what my food was. Reordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and was DRY AND OVERCOOKED!! Overall a bad experience will NOT be back. Sad to see a new restaurant in the area and it be so shitty with unprofessional and unknowledgeable staff of there own menu.

    (1)
  • Amanda W.

Good for groups, has a decent variety of food. I have had mostly good experiences every time I have been. They have good burgers and always seems to be busy.

    (4)
  • Ryan S.

Wife and I have been twice and it has been great, normal food mix up for a new place. Beer selection is great!!! The need to open up the patio for food as well not just for drinks.

    (4)
  • Jamie W.

1st time visit to the establishment. For atmosphere it's what you'd expect for an indoor / outdoor sports grill; like an active ant-hill it's loud and in constant motion. Screens with sports shows are present at just about any viewing angle but don't expect to hear anything actually showing - the screen images are drown out by the bass-heavy pop music playing over the in-house system. The wait staff is plentiful, pleasant and attentive. The restaurant shines for its bill of fare in its beer selection and there is sure to be something that will appeal to the palate of just about anyone from the mundane to the bold and adventurous. Food selection runs towards the standards for an establishment of this type, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers and a few higher end dishes such as the flat iron steak I ordered. The time from order to delivery was a little long and regrettably I had to send back my steak for some additional cooking (delivered as medium rare when medium was ordered). The quality and taste were satisfactory and the only thing which detected from our enjoyment of the meal was the inconsiderate couple that shared their unruly and screeching toddlers with the other patrons on the patio. Not exactly the dining experience I was hoping for, but circumstantial and I will at least give them an opportunity to redeem themselves at some future date.

    (3)
  • Jamie S.

I went with friends and my husband. We got a waitress that knew nothing about the beer. ( you work at an ale house....you should know what your serving especially at an ALE HOUSE). She then forgot to bring my beer I ordered. Also forgot my salad dressing. So after trying to catch up on old times, I had to wait impatiently for a second choice beer. Great fries and the salad was good.

    (3)
  • Shirley M.

Wow that was so good I would go back any day the service was great!! And so was the food. Luv it

    (5)
  • Karissa G.

Great food! Great service! My husband and I ate at the outside bar. The waiter was great...I wish I knew his name. We had bbq grilled wings and a bacon, cheese burger. No complaints.

  • Crystal L.

We went at 9:00 on a Friday night. We were told there would be a 45-60 minute wait, which is to be expected at a new place on a Friday. However, we counted 19 open tables and asked about it. Hostess said they weren't seating anyone because the kitchen was running behind. We would have rather sat and ordered drinks and waited than stand for an hour. We left and ate elsewhere. We'll probably give them a while to get it together before we try again.

    (1)
  • C R.

Been here a few times with varying experiences so I'll try my best to capture it all. The pros: Lots of beer on tap with tv's a plenty. Definitely a good spot to watch the game. The outside patio is very nice and they also have pool tables inside. The food is decent, nothing 5 star, but typical bar fare. I love the appetizer platter, you get a bit of everything, including the delicious fried pickles. The cons: Pricey pints. Service can be hit or miss but there's an underlying reason for that. Not enough staff! The end result is being told there's a 30-45 minute wait as you look at dozens of empty tables. When people question the empty tables the hostess say they either don't have enough servers or the kitchen is backed up. I left on my first attempted visit because we were told there was an hour wait and the place was empty. Sorry, that's ridiculous. Tip to management - people would rather have slow service with a beer, a seat, and a chance to look over the menu, then wait at the front with nothing because you STILL haven't hired enough people. You're just losing customers with this system. I will steer clear during the busy football season and when Nexton really gets booming unless they fix this.

  • Becca C.

72 beers on draft! The house salad is amazing; with the homemade garlic croutons. The cream of mushroom soup is the best I've ever had, my bf even said that. The Carolina Dipper is the best French dip with the best smoked meat we have ever had.

    (4)
  • Thomas B.

If you are a beer drinker this place is for you. The draft selection on IPA's is excellent. Very spacious bar outside. Several big screen tv's to watch games on.

    (5)
  • Dan B.

Had a cheese burger and baked beans. Worst of both that I have eaten anywhere. Would have been better if I had gone across the street to mcdonalds

    (1)
  • Amanda R.

Good bartender. He spent time with me trying to help me pick a new tap beer. They have upwards of 20 beers on tap. Atmosphere was busy and excessively loud. A good sports bar.

    (4)
  • Ron W.

If you are looking for a nice friendly place to have dinner, a beer, and watch your favorite college football team THIS is not a place that I would recommend. We had several tables of people asked to be moved because the TVs were so loud you couldn't even talk to the people at your table. I ordered a beer off their menu. I was told when I went to order a second they were out of those beers. This is 5pm on a Saturday. Our waitress was talk to the next table (a table of her friends) complaining about her three other tables. We were one of those. About how long we had been there. It's Saturday college football day. The table of her friends also wanted to turn the football game that was on a TV four feet from us. Keep in mind all the tables around this TV had been watching this game for two hours!!! We addressed this with the waitress and hostess. Nobody did anything. The long story of this is if you want good food, cold beers, and a friendly staff. This ISNT your kind of place !!!

    (2)
  • Kyle R.

CO2 line"broke" after our group ordered mojitos. Told no soda water, or cola, available anymore. Other than that, it new so long wait. Upside, lots of beer.

  • Danielle F.

I do not agree with the pervious 3 ratings at all. I visited last saturday for lunch with my husband and we had a great time and the food was delious! There was 15-20 min wait so we sat at the bar to have a beer right away someone came over and presented us with free cheese fries and took our drink order. when our table was ready we were greeted quicky by our server I got fish and chips and my husband got BBQ bacon cheese burger both meals were very good. I am not saying they were perfect but for a brand new restaurant I expect some hiccups. I will be headed back sometime this weekend.

    (5)
  • S.J. W.

Great place to watch the game but it's a bit pricey food isn't nothing to brag about they need some improvement with the wings. If your going for the drinks and hobnob with the fellas for a few beers definitely be prepared to dig deep in your pockets. Drinks are high reminds you of paying up north prices.

    (2)
  • Greg K.

I agree with Kevin's review 100%. I did give an extra star for their beer selection but you can get the same thing at other local bars at a cheaper price.

    (2)
  • Rachel W.

I didn't like it here at all. The service was not very good. It took 45 mins for me to receive my root beer float which was the first thing I ordered. The beers on tap aren't anything special, just what you would expect at any bar. And the bartenders have no real knowledge of the bottled beer selection so they can't give you any kind of insight or advice into the fancier beers which, I feel, defeats the purpose of an ale house. And the food, well, it was food, nothing special. Just regular, heavy bar food. However the wings were actually pretty good, I will say that. All in all, I don't think I'll be going back there, it's just not worth it for me.

  • Jay M.

Bad things come in groups of three. Three times I've visited CA and and have been disappointed each and everyone. The only thing going for them is the pub-like atmosphere. Between food and service...it is here that they lack any professionalism. My food has never been cook correctly on all my visits (e.g. asked for a medium cook steak (x3) = had to be re-cooked because of the blood leaking out. Needless to say = exceptionally rare). And if not being served what you're paying for is bad enough...the service is something less to be desired. From the wait staff to the on site manager, it appears that any question you, the customer, may have is viewed as a complete bother to them. On all three of my visits to CAH, me and my family were ignored/avoided other than when the checked came. In essence, if I could, I would rate my experience with CAH a zero.

Ok, so I recently went back to Carolina Ale House after visiting their website. They were advertising $3.00 pints ALL DAY. I originally planned on going to homegrown brew house instead, but I decided to give them another chance. Besides, $3.00 pints is an excellent deal. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. However, the $3.00 pints were not available that Wednesday. False advertising much?! I informed the waitress that their website was still advertising false promotions, she said she was aware and that she apologized for the misunderstanding. Obviously not her fault. Between both experiences I really don't want to go back again. Management needs to get their crap together. Food was OK, much better than last time, as was the service. Seeing as how they boast being an ale house though, I would highly suggest getting the bar side of things in order. There are many good restaurants in Summerville and I would suggest taking your business elsewhere if possible.

Great food and excellent service. Staff members were polite and helpful. We will definitely eat here again

  • Jennifer P.

Very nice atmosphere, good family spot, but I wouldn't order dinner here. Stick with the apps and cold beer. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it was so small it looked like an egg roll. It tasted fine but had one chicken tender cut in half and the rest was all tortilla wrap. My wife had the fish and chips and it looked like a kids meal - 3 small nuggets of fish on a few fries. Very underwhelmed, especially for the price. Probably a great place to catch a game but I'd stick with an appetizer or maybe a hamburger. Disappointed.

  • Ashley H.

Ate here for the first time today. Went in for lunch and was able to order and eat within the lunch hour. I had the southern fried chicken salad and it was fantastic!

  • Kinsey M.

Meh food and bad service. I've been here twice. The food is just OK. Edible, typical bar fare. I love the outdoor bar seating area, especially with all the TVs for sports. However, the service is not good. The bartenders are nice, but not very attentive. Probably if you take my empty beer glass and I'm staring at you, you should make eye contact and offer a refill?? Or offer me a menu at any point? I was watching a game and they changed the TV during my game not once, but twice. Bartenders can't control the TVs so instead of them getting a manager to help me, twice I had to go inside and track down one myself. By the second time I was pretty annoyed, to say the least. Then I get my TV switched to the game for the third time and twenty minutes go by before the bartender asks if they fixed my TV. There's two bartenders and maybe ten people at your bar, it really shouldn't be this bad. Work on your customer service.. But not on me, because there are better places to spend my money.

After our complaint about poor service, Mr. Paul Nance contacted us and had us come back for a new experience. The service was very good and the food was also very good. I appreciate CAH making things right.

  • Scott C.

We ate here on 10/28/14. Group of 7. Sat outside near the street. Note: if conversation is important don't sit outside near street. Motorcycles were noisy going by. Service was spotty, food menu not close to Ale House in Cola! Food prices high for quality served. The place was near empty and it still took near an hour for food. Great TVs, great bar area. Overall disappointment!

Eve of Thanksgiving Day; 45 min wait due to the kitchen being overwhelmed ("kitchen hold"). There are a couple pool tables, pretty big bar if you want to hang there while you wait; lots of TV's; eclectic clientele including families with kids having way too much fun; and it's sport bar noisey but not excessively loud ;) Hamburger and fries were good. Great beer selection (Murphy Stout for me-ask for a glass-they're frosted). So get one of those light-show vibrator things from the hostess and start out at the bar.

I visited the Carolina Ale House on 8-7-2014 with family around 530 pm. Upon entering the restaurant a Hostess greeted us immediately and promptly escorted us to a table. After being seated we were greeted by our server within a matter of a couple of minutes. She was friendly and patient (we had several questions about the menu as it was our first time visiting) After taking our order, our food arrived promptly ( REALLY QUICKLY) I was surprised to see the reviews that noted slow service. (Maybe they've picked up the pace a bit in the last couple of days??) I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp Salad as my entrée. It was a large dinner salad that was topped with an adequate amount of shrimp and blue cheese crumbles. They shrimp were spicy but not too hot. The salad was good and the veggies were fresh. I felt like I was enjoying an order of buffalo wings except it was shrimp and it was on a salad. I felt the beer was a bit overpriced at this establishment but other than that I think it will be a good place to go and watch a sporting event or just hang out with family/friends.

I ate here on 8/4/2014 and it was amazing! Our server was excellent! He was knowledgeable and very helpful. We asked him to recommend a good beer and he recommend the Curious Traveler for myself and the Thomas Creek Red for my husband based on what we told him we liked and he was spot on! We enjoyed the recommendations very much. We ordered cheese fries to have while we drank our beers and waited on the food. They were so good! They were delivered to our table very quickly and piping hot. I ordered the Pub Burger and it was awesome. I loved every bite. I will be ordering that again. My husband ordered the Grilled BBQ Chicken Melt and I loved that as well. We ended up sharing half and half because both were so good. The portions were large so we ended up with togo boxes. We saw the Apple Blossom on the menu and had to try it but we were so full we asked for it togo. They were very accommodating and put the ice cream and caramel in separate containers so it wound not melt and become a soupy soggy mess. We took that home and had it for a late night snack later and it was so good! I can't imagine if it was that good later how good it must be fresh. I would highly recommend trying this place out. It was so good we have plans to bring friends there is weekend!

Went tonight for a date night with my husband and wasn't too impressed at all! Hostess quoted 60-75 wait time which we expected at a new establishment so we waited and had a few beers. Good beer selection! While we waited we saw at least 15 empty tables. We started to notice ppl coming in after us and seating themselves outside when we told the hostess we wanted first available. We were finally called after 50 min of waiting and was sat at one of the many tables that had been empty the entire night! We order the wings and they were soggy! Our server was wonderful. But it was very sad to see sooo many ppl leaving due to the wait times when the entire outside section was empty all night. Prob won't be returning.

We came here on a football Sunday to try this new place out...It was the super bowl rematch, Broncos Vs Seahawks, the national game of the week...I had to ask them 4 times!!! To put the game on the big screen! Took them about 30 minutes to do so. The Food was basic as could be. Atmosphere is absolutely terrible for a Football Sunday! But....Our Waitress was the only bright spot about this place, she was outstanding with her service, she's the one who actually ended up finally changing the TV to the Game, I should have just asked her first lol. I wish I remembered her name but she wears a "jason witten" jersey on Sunday....It's really just not a great atmosphere for sports, alot of family's just there for dinner and lunch and get so irritated when fans get loud and start cheering.....Buffalo Wild Wings and Thier great NFL atmosphere and Crowds is the place to be on Sundays, not this "Old Retirement" like atmosphere.

Service was good. Good atmosphere, would be a great place to watch some football, other sporting events if the Alcohol/beer was not so expensive. My husband and I had the zinger wrap and fish tacos only two tacos for 9... Wrap was on the SMALL SIDE!

Had a great experience at the Carolina Ale House a couple of nights ago. We were here from out of town and looking for a place to eat. Wasn't sure what to expect given the reviews. I wanted to try some local brews and was ordering beers I never had before. After striking out twice, our waiter Trey said pick another and it was on the house. Long story short, bar manager Troy really made things right for us. The food was very good and the service - well this was our best experience ever, including places where we were regulars for years. Highly recommend, at least based on Trey and Troy's great service.

Went for dinner last night with my wife and son. Didn't realize kids eat for $.99 on Tuesdays, which I guess lots take advantage of as we got stuck in a section with two large parties and we were ignored for about 15 mins. Until my wife grabbed the hostess. Joesph the manager tried to come and smooth things over. He said he'd take care of our app, which he didn't. Amber our waitress sucks. Didn't get my order all we had was an app and kids meal because she didn't listen. I left starving. Btw. I'm a chef downtown. This is unacceptable service Hope this isn't how you run your business day to day. You all need some systems in place, a manager with floor presents,a staff who can do more then sling wings. Maybe average service is what your all about and the rednecks may be fine with it but those of us who know better won't be back.
