YUM YUM YUM! They have a live band upstairs on the weekend and seating outside for smoking. But most of all they have an unbelievable list of flavors for chicken wings! The staff is usually very nice and the prices are decent. All in all, if you love wings, you must come and visit!

Worse service in town, been here about 8 times and have never had good service. Food is also sub par, many times cold and when you say something they feel it's an inconvenience to them. Can I even give zero stars?

My mother and I come here just about every Thursday and have been for about the past year or so. The food is good, not outstanding or anything but worth its price. I like the wing bar even tho it might be a little pricey. The service is always friendly and quick so its great for lunch!

Okay maybe it was because we had to drive so far to get here, but this place was not that great. I have been to the location in Marietta, GA and I liked that one better. Someone had the great idea to drive all the way to Spartanburg from Greenville (over 25 miles) for wings. The whole way I was thinking that these better be the best wings in the world only to pull up to Wild Wing Café that I can have back home. The people who had gotten there earlier (probably because they did not have to drive 25 miles to get there!) had already ordered for everyone which I always find annoying. Everything they ordered was really spicy or something weird. Who does not order lemon pepper especially when you order 150 wings? I asked for some medium, and at first was told the kitchen was closed, but luckily they said they had some medium left. Average wings, far away location. I guess if you live in Spartanburg or for some reason are going there or get lost there it might be worth it. I did see a lot of Buffalo's Southwest Café driving through South Carolina though so I would recommend them more especially on Wednesday for the all you can eat special. At least I got some delicious Hooters wings on Sunday.

Shagging. I am not talking Austin Powers either. I am talking about the true Carolina classic dance- shagging. This is the sole reason this Wild Wing gets three stars, otherwise for food and service it gets two stars. If you are familiar with shagging or want to take the out-of-towners someplace where they will be entertained - Sunday nights, upstairs after six the fun begins. The couple who 'host' the night give a quick introductory lesson- you learn the steps and two basic turns. Then the music really starts up! The night included shagging and other line dances. There were folks there of ALL ages. College kids to folks in their eighties. It is especially a great night with margarita and beer specials. Hey- a little liquid courage never hurt anyone. Twelve wings, two side salads, and something like twenty margaritas later and the tab was seventy bucks. I told you liquid courage was involved! The food: is mediocre. I get medium wings. They are hot enough for me. I also get a side salad- nothing special. The beverage: When I get wings I want a beer. A COLD beer. The beer is never cold here! Part of the reason is their glasses are always warm. Yuck. The service: Hit or miss. Like Rocco P. said in his review. I also hate seeing people who work in the same establishment who are now off of work and hanging out- getting better service than me. I will be the one tipping you later! You should also know that there will be smoking inside- I do not see that law changing anytime soon. You are in tobacco country. Side note: Rumor is this Wild Wing is shutting its doors.

I am sure that almost everyone has been to one of these as they are a national chain, however, I had to include it because my family enjoys it so much. We eat here on a regular basis. I really enjoy the atmosphere. Many large HD TV's showing a variety of sporting events. Great music. Live bands upstairs. Located in a restored old building downtown. Plenty of seating and there is still a short wait on the weekends. However, this is not a problem. Get a beer and enjoy the music or sit outside. We happened to be there for the opening of the Olympics. The event had not started yet when we were seated but none of the TV's were tuned to the broadcast network. I asked the waitress if she would change the channel on a large screen close to us so my daughter could watch the opening while we ate. No problem. Originally I would get wings almost exclusively. Many great varieties of spice and flavor to choose from. I like them hot. Now I get ribs regularly. My wife still enjoys the wings. Buys way to many and then eats them for the next few days. The kids menu is not the best but is on par with most places. My youngest doesn't seem to mind but my eldest would rather have my ribs and a house salad. They need to have a cheaply priced childs rib plate or something like that. The bottom line is that we all really enjoy going. Additionally, it is a pleasure to go downtown Spartanburg for a change. For so many years there was no reason to go. We need more of that and I salute the individual that had the guts to put this restaurtant down town. That definately adds to the atmosphere. I doubt that we would go as often if not for the location and the feel of that old building. Four stars for the atmosphere and location in my city. I'm sure that this varies drastically from place to place. Could easily drop to 2 or 3 stars if the atmosphere were differnent.

Friendly wait staff and the smell of sizzling chicken smothered in buffalo sauce greet you as you enter the establishment. You are seated relatively quickly, even during a crowded time, and your food is served quickly. Wild Wing Cafe comes as a highly reccommended place to eat in Spartanburg for out of towners, or seasoned locals.

Great wing spot pretty busy but still fast service and good looking and tasting wings

These places downtown attract too many of the wrong people. It's kind of scary the troglodytes they attract not only out of the wood work as patrons but to employ as well. It's horrible to listen to these morons attempt to communicate on phone as if it's a WWII walkie talkie. Also if you have any words written on your shirt, be it a name brand or just a whimsical phrase or word, they will interrupt you, read it out loud and then laugh like an antagonist from movie Deliverance. Beyond the social retardation, the food is typical of a chain restaurant. It's designed for the obese to become addicted. The service is sub par, either they are extremely busy with other people or extremely busy doing busy work. Never are the focused on you. The restaurant is set up to trap a person with ADHD with tons TVs all over the place to help you avoid conversation with whoever you are with. It's not that great and I believe I'll have to pass if I'm offered another outing to this place.

As far as wing places go this is below average. when we walked in my shoes stuck to the floor where something spilled and I assume wasn't cleaned properly. there was only a couple customers at the time we sat but it was a little before 4pm.they do have a nice variety of tap beer I ordered the22 oz. yeuling and it comes in a chilled mug. I hate chilled mugs because the cold takes away the flavor of the beer. On my second I told waitress I didn't want chilled mug, beer came in a chilled mug. We ordered the wings half mild half hot, buffalo shrimp and onion rings. Like I said, wasn't busy at all, but food took 25 minutes to get. For a place that specializes in wings, they don't make very good ones. They were over done and dry and shrimp were small and overpowered with garlic(couldn't taste any of the shrimp. the onion rings were huge but it was mostly breading, brought some home and container was full of grease. I will not go back.

Time for a management change. We waited an absurd amount of time for the food to come out. Our server was wonderful but her bosses are clearly failing her with the amount of time it's taking to get food out. No one came to apologize for how long the food took. It doesn't even appear that a manager is on duty, as we didn't see anyone walking around who resembled one. This was a solid 2/5 dining experience.

My first visit in several years and the first time on a fairly busy Saturday night. I can report that the service and food were excellent and the price was right too. Glad to see a good crowd at WWC and a good vibe downtown too.

Good food at often decent prices, service is a little slow though, even on less-busy nights. There is a "BOGO" deal going on here every Tuesday. You can buy 10 boneless wings and get 10 free! Not bad. Or you can get 8 boneless wings and 8 free. The appetizers are honestly to die for... the big fat fries are the best (especially with cheese). Nice atmosphere. The whole restaurant is two stories. The second floor is used more for parties and live band concerts. Technically I think you have to be 21 to go up there, but I'm not sure. The stairs are ridiculously fragile. very squeaky. If you can go on less busier days, absolutely try it!

This was my second visit to this location. I was giving it another chance, figuring my first visit may have just been an off day. A group of coworkers met at 1230 for lunch. It took several minutes for anyone to even offer to take our drink orders. Eventually, someone did. About 10 minutes later, we got most of our drinks and were told they would be back in a minute to take our orders, which he did. five salads and an order of wings. 40 minutes pass and we have no food! I finally decided to track down a server and ask for our meal and some to-go containers. All we get is an Im sorry, we are short handed today. Our food was delivered, the cheese on the salads is melting, obviously it had been sitting out a while and near a heat lamp. No discount on the bill. Guess who didnt get a tip! Back to todays visit, I arrived at approximately 12:15pm. I was seated immediately and they took my drink order. They brought it back and said my server would be right with me. 15 minutes later, when they still hadnt taken my order, but had taken orders of two tables that arrived after me, I went to the hostess for service. A server came out to my table and took my order, I ordered a salad. I explained the situation from my last attempt to eat there. She offered apologies and told me next time to ask for specific server locations. another 15 minutes passes, and finally I am given my salad. After a few minutes eating, the server asks if I want my check, and I say yes. Another 10 minutes goes by and still no check. I go inside to track down my server so I can pay my bill. If you are on any sort of schedule, DO NOT go here. The food is the same as any other restaurant you can go to in town. You will not be served in a timely manner, and the employees do not have any sense of urgency. After reading the other reviews here, obviously management is blissfully unaware and does not care about the lack of timely service being provided.

We stopped by on a Sunday night and it was really busy. I had two types of wings with blue cheese dip (not like normal blue cheese but I LOVED it). My wings were great, however the service was VERY slow.

We went to Wild Wing because it was one of the only places open after 10 pm on a Monday night in Spartanburg. It was a chilly night, and most of the people who were there stuck around to watch football at the bar. We were not the last people to order food, which was pretty great. I got a bacon, egg & cheese burger which was cooked to order and came with a single onion ring on top. The steak fries which accompanied were quite good. My girlfriend got sliders, which were also good, and I ate the pickles that came with them because she didn't want them. They were alright too. Service was okay, but it seemed they were a little short-handed, and the girl who served us was also not dressed in attire befitting of the weather that night. I guess that's her decision. Overall, pretty affordable and convenient for the circumstances, but not the greatest meal I've ever eaten.

As I have noted in many of my reviews, I am not generally a fan of big chain restaurants, and especially not when it is a chain known for chicken wings (not really a fan). However, it was near our client site and my co-workers preferred it over a couple of other close-by places. So, we were seated right away and I noticed the place was not especially busy. Despite that, service was pretty slow. Our server was very friendly and tried to be helpful, but it took a long time to get our orders out. I ordered a salad, and it was fine. Nothing to write home about. This would certainly not be my first choice, but if you are in the area and looking for a quick casual bite, the food and service is ok.

Worst service in Spartanburg, and that's saying something (except for bartender Matt, you are awesome and we will miss you!). I had a bbq sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were a $1 upcharge from the base price of $7.99, which included a standard side. The sweet potato fries were awful. They were tough and chewy. I did not eat them and I let the server know how bad they were. A manager came by to talk to us and I told him about the fries. He said he would make an adjustment on our check. When we got the check all that had been taken off was just the $1 upcharge and nothing more. I talked to the manager again and he tried to tell me that 7.99 was for the sandwich alone (total bs, it comes with a side) and $1 was all that should be taken off. We argued over this for a few minutes and he would not listen to reason, so I told him we wouldn't be coming back, to which he said 'ok, that's fine' and walked away. Congratulations, you just lost 2 regular customers.
