Once every year I visit Ruby Tuesday because of coupons I receive in the mail. So I usually decide to go there. Why? You ask, only once every year or not at all? Because every R. Tuesday I've gone too, the front door greeter is rude and has that "I'm too good for this job" attitude. The environment is always awkward even when it's busy. (So it's even more awkward when it's not). The time to receive your drinks, to place your order and to wait for your waiter/waitress takes 2x long every time. What's up with that? And they always seem to come to you with some excuse. So if you do decide to come eat here on your lunch break, you will be late going back because they do not rush at all and a 30min lunch will turn in to an hour. And about the food, for the prices you pay here, it's not all that fresh and great. Everything is over cooked and even microwaved. Ugh! Why would they even do that!! My waitress was actually nice. But slow to cater. Overall my visit was 2 stars. And I'll not likely to visit any R. Tuesday anymore after this.

Literally the worst $15 steak in town. I got to Asiago sirloin. It sounded good but in reality it was a tough piece of overlooked meat submerged in a merky brown goo. It's really not difficult to cook zucchini successfully but somehow this restaurant managed to produce a tasteless, oily zucchini side.

It says online and yelp that it closes at midnight on the weekends. But it closes at 11pm

Possibly one of the nastiest restaurants in the Spartanburg area. Floors are dirty, tile is sticky when you walk on it, and when you first walk into the restaurant, there is a terrible odor. Salad bar is usually stocked well, and clean, but everything else is terrible. Service is slow, and the food is too expensive to not be any good.

Without a doubt, one of the most unsanitary restaurants we've ever dined at in Spartanburg. The restrooms were horrible. We were greeted with a strong odor of stinch upon our arrival for lunch and it carried throughout the entire interior of the dining area. The service was good at best as well as the food. We will not return to this location again !

Ruby's is now doing some lobster specials, and I'd avoid the lobster carbonara if you really like lobster. I'm pretty sure they just dunk it in water and cook it and hope the pasta, peas and bacon with it take over the flavor. It doesn't. It came out tender, but still pretty 'fishy' tasting. I know lobster is hard to cook, and I usually only like the tail, hot, with garlic lemon butter. The Thai Phoon shrimp app is pretty good though. Seeing as how most of the chains in Spartanburg (ie Olive Garden, Red Lobster) will run you an easy 1hr wait on any given evening, this isn't a bad choice. Next time I'll just stick to the burgers.
