Wandered in because of a coupon in Entertainment. This is the most casual, if-you-don't-like-it-get-the-hell-out kind of place I have ever seen. A half dozen tables (with ashtrays on each one), an area for the band, and a bar. This place can't be more than a few hundred square feet, and a quarter of it is dedicated to the bar/kitchen, which is completely open to the eating area. It's like your favorite uncle opened a bar in his garage. Friends stop in for some food and drink, and just to hang out. A couple of guys were hanging out when we got there, but no one was running the store. Jimmy returned after a few minutes, sat down, introduced himself, and walked us through the menu, and the overall philosophy of the place. It's his hobby, and he clearly just does it to amuse himself by entertaining others. He's got a big flat-top, and he knows how to use it. I had the Italian sausage - the kind you get at the fair, with grilled onions and peppers. The difference is Jimmy also adds mushrooms and a little cheese, and he makes it bigger and much better! My wife had the grilled chicken salad, and Jimmy spent a while digging in some deep dark recess of his cupboard to find a reduced fat dressing for her.
