For a Hardees, this place has some of the best food i have ever had at a Hardees. My hot ham and cheese looked just like an advertisement, and tasted just as good. Kudos to the staff. Good decent food, and they keep the place clean.
AMAZING fresh seafood. Steamed is an option but I went w fried white fish and oysters and garlic crab. It came w hushpuppies and a side (I got red rice). Best meal I have had on vacation. Tied w Husk in Charleston. Everything stood on its own as fantastic. I could go back and just get a big bowl of red rice or oysters or hushpuppies. Breading was light. Garlic crab was dipped in garlic butter w old bay and fresh parsley. Its on the way between Savannah and Charleston. Super friendly family run place. If you're passing through DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE.
Great place to eat fresh seafood, small seafood market and to go food. The owner is awesome, he gave us some Garlic Crabs to taste. They were awesome and addicting, I have had these 3 times
What a find! We were on our way back to Charleston and getting hungry. This colorfully painted storefront caught our eye and we are so glad we turned around to try it. We both tried the half pound fried oyster basket and they cook your food fresh and to order. Best succulent oysters ever and plenty of them! Where else do you get enough oysters to take some home? We got the coleslaw instead of fries and it was a delicious special recipe-not your ordinary variety. There are only 2 booths inside so mostly carryout. Wide selection of specials and a fresh seafood counter with reasonable prices on some fresh fish and shrimp. We will definitely return!
Today was my second time visiting for breakfast, and it was so good I kept eating well past the point of being full. The pancakes are easily the best I've ever had. Not sure what they put in the batter but it can't be legal. The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. I'm just sad I don't have a place like this near my home!
My husband and I were running errands near the intersection of Bees Ferry and Savannah Highway and decided to venture down to Ravenel for dinner since it was only about 9 miles away and traffic was light. We had a great time. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. I had fried chicken and the breading was just the way I like it. One piece of my chicken was thicker than the other so I'm afraid a small bit of the center was slightly undercooked but I cut around the more translucent part and didn't have a problem. I'm not dumb so I wouldn't eat it and then complain later. I've cooked chicken before and had the same thing happen and my role in life isn't to shout Gordon Ramsay style at people. So I want the chicken noted, but I won't say it ruined the night or anything. I would love to come back to this restaurant again because it really did feel like a home away from home, and offered great customer service. Plus it was easy to get into their parking lot and find room to park. Those are big pluses if you're at all familiar with the city of Charleston. So there you go. If you find yourself in Ravenel and you're hungry then I highly recommend this place. Enjoy!
Always freaking awesome! Consistent, friendly and just GREAT FOOD! I'm so glad there's a restaurant that I can always count on to go to experience a great meal... Breakfast lunch or dinner, all great!
I am happy to have a real pizza place out here but my experiences are mixed. First time my hubby and I were impressed but unhappy with the small amount of toppings-really about ten pieces of spinach on his pie (but fresh) and about the same for mine with the banana peppers (jarred). Crust was good and spices too. Do not get the cheese sticks...more like bread with cheeses in it (blah) and no dipping sauce. overall though we were happy. The salads are just plain bizarre... read the menu! The next experience left us unhappy. It was late at night and two young adults were there. Our pizzas were a mess...literally and with way too much cheese on both. One was overcooked and the ;other the toppings were falling off and the crust soggy even though it just had a small amount of pepperoni on it. These kids seemed a bit "not there" as well... We have been back and overall its OK...better than frozen pizza....I just wish the quality was consistent and they used more toppings. we want the place to succeed but they need a bit of help and a few more items on their menu...And please change how you do salads and I'm not too happy paying so much for the smallest salad I have ever seen
