Stopped by on my way through to Charleston, SC. Long after the lunch rush was over, I experienced the worst service I've ever had. Unfriendly, useless waitstaff, we finally received our drinks 5 minutes after we finished our lunch. Avoid if possible.

I have always had great service here. Always. They waiters that I have had must be the best because I have never had reason to complain. I am surprised they have gotten such spotty reviews in our Yelp community. It is chain food but hey it is what it is. I had the salmon and it was wonderful. On a plank, hot and seasoned well. Veggies were bland as heck and I had to actually add salt. They were not blanched that well either. I can give them 3 stars because the salad bar was always clean and my food was good. But service was always spot on. I hope it gets more consistent.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place was a joke! Never given any silverware we had to go find them off another table. My husband ordered chicken Bella which has portobello mushrooms, dinner arrived with no mushrooms just chicken and artichoke. When confronted the waitress said oh and wondered off into the kitchen then 4-5 mins later came back said oh ok so we're out of mushrooms. Normal service that item would be taken off the menu and rejected at the kitchen if it did come through but instead they made without one of the main items! When speaking to the manager he said yeah the waitress knew we were out. Well maybe some retraining of waitress and kitchen staff. He did remove the item from the bill but wtf are we suppose to do when 2 out of 3 persons have a dinner. As soon as the manager finished speaking with us he had to tell the table next to us no napkins you get paper towels, the table behind us also spoke to them because they never got waited on. When we were leaving there was another customer complaining to the manager. Geez we were only there an hour and 4 complaints! Who the heck is running this place? Are they asleep? First time working in a restaurant? horrible horrible horrible service! Would never go back!

Very slow service. The food was good but had to wait for the food and check way too long.

This location is a lot better than the location on Devine St. in Columbia, SC that I reviewed several months ago. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was good. I ordered the Popcorn Shrimp ... I only wish that the portion had been larger. Finding the entrance the the parking lot was difficult but we finally cut through some parking lots and found our way. Good luck and enjoy!

Mr. Ruby Tuesday? Where are you? Are you checking out your restaurants? I can't seem to find one that's decent. No wonder your sales are sliding. You must be on a long vacation. This location in Orangeburg is awful!!! The service is terrible!!! First off.... We got seated and this nice lady said she'd be helping us. Not sure with what. We ordered water to drink. I guess the water must come from a special place. It took forever to get here. She finally came and took our order. Then she came back to ask us our order again. Even though she wrote it down of course. Well I went to check out the bathroom while I waited for my food .... I'm still waiting by the way. The bathroom was worse than most gas stations I've visited. Big time nasty!!! ..... Still waiting on the food ............... 10 minutes later........ I'm still waiting for my food. No acknowledgement from anybody either. How long are we supposed to wait? There's only 4 tables of people. I see lots of employees. I'm hungry. Where's my food???? Do I leave? It's been an hour now. My water glass is now empty.... I'm going to starve and thirst to death. OK.... The food has arrived!!! It's on a double plate. ..2 plates stacked on top of each other. In other words it sat under the warning lights way too long. My grilled chicken was floating in grease and sauce. Not like I've ever seen it before. My grilled Veges even looked greasy. .... Still no more water. Thank goodness I didn't order a regular drink. I think it's time to say bye bye to this place. I know I'll never come back. This place needs some serious TLC.... A good manager might help also. At least our VERY SLACK waitress was nice. But I needed service and good food. Thank goodness for my bottle of water I have in the car. Warm water is better than no water. I needed it to wash down my food.

Food was good. Bathroom was disgusting. Waitress was slow, rude, and chewed gum the whole time. Needs new management.

It's a chain restaurant, so I don't see you ever getting five stars. The food was average, but came nice and hot which is a huge plus in my book. There is a nice selection, so I will give them that. The salad bar was full and everything seemed fresh. I had the hickory chicken and baked potato. The chicken was fork tender and had a nice taste. The baked potato was perfectly cooked. My husband had the chicken with mushrooms and his was equally as tender and tasty. His mashed potatoes were creamy and hot. Hostess was not at all friendly, but our waiter made up for that. Quick, friendly service and in bringing our check.

I have ate at this Ruby Tuesday location a couple of times and haven't been impressed either time. The first time we dined here it was ok; the service was good, but the food wasn't all that great. I would have given them 3 stars on that visit for decent service. As I was on my way back to to Charleston yesterday I decided to pull off the exit for lunch. I was going to just grab some fast food crap and be on my way, but decided to give this Ruby Tuesday another change; and after the experience here I should have stuck to my original plan. I walk into the restaurant and there is a young lady working the hostess stand; she doesn't even acknowledge me right away. I actually had to greet her and seat myself at the bar. Once at the bar the bartender was in the weeds with only a couple of customers, so it took her like 5 minutes before she even greeted me; which she was cold in her greeting. So I ordered and waited for while (maybe 25 to 30 minutes) on a hamburger that I ordered medium well; which came out medium rare. I was hungry and in too big of a hurry to send back the burger to be cooked up more, so I ate the burger; plus I never send food back to the kitchen, nor should anyone (unless you like extra special treatment of your food in the back). After eating I sat there with a dirty plate in front of me for while waiting on the check so I could get out of this hellhole; finally having to wave down the bartender to bring me the check. Once she brought the check I went to hand her my card, but she walked away; luckily I had a little cash to pay the bill. Overall this is a crappy Ruby Tuesday and restaurant in general. Stick with the other restaurants off this exit in the future.

A new first ..... All of the waiters and waitresses orders out and are sitting in a booth. Not a real good sign. My taco duo was ok. Cheap happy hour drinks were ok.

I visited this location of Ruby Tuesday twice because I had a family member in the local hospital. Both times, I ordered the salad bar, which was consistently fresh and delicious. The first time, I sat at a table. Their iced tea hit the mark. It took a little while to get the check, but the service was overall good. The second time, I sat at the bar. I got my glass of wine fairly quickly. I like how they offer 2 wine sizes. Needless to say, my convalescing brother had pushed my nerves to the breaking point, so I opted for the 8 ounce glass. It took a while for the bartender to ask for my lunch order. I didn't see him, so they must have had him occupied with other duties. He was quick to ask if I needed another glass of wine. But, back to the hospital to play nurse maid to my brother.

I only visit this restaurant once per year and this visit was pleasant. The food was good and the salad bar wonderful. The service was just OK considering that we had a large group with separate checks.

We are big fans of RT's and have been for 20+ years. They have been a tradtional resting place for my family to get a good meal while on the road for family vacations and weekends out. RT's always has consistantly fresh, healthy, good food in the right portions and their salad bar rocks!! In fact I can honestly say I have never been to one I did not like...until this one! This one stinks !! literally for 2 big reasons... Terrible Service and Filthy,Smelly Bathrooms. We have stopped here twice in the last 12 months and the first time I thought it was just a fluke, but the second time around told me that this place is just bad and is doing the chain a big disservice, they should shape up and train their staff to treat their customers as welcomed guests and clean their bathrooms regularly, several times per day, not just once. First: The food and sald bar was good, but we sat for at least 13 mintues after being seated before any one came up to give us a menu or pour our water, and then there was several occasions when we wanted to have our glasses filled and were walked right by as if we weren't there by our own waitress and other staff, one carrying a water pitcher, with no appearance as if they cared if we needed anything. The place was not that busy, 2-3 tables only filled on our aisle. The staff needs to be trained to be attentive to their customers. Secondly, as we left both my wife and I went to use the restrooms with our kids and we both came out very digusted with the filthiness of the bathrooms and once we left I read on Yelp other complaints of the BRs at this place, so not just for our 2 visits but others also. Just so surprising for a place like RT's and, as I said, this was the second time we have experienced these conditions at this one restaurant. So sad, because they could be so much better if someone cared and trained the staff well to be polite, attentive, prompt and friendly to all their customers.

OK it's Ruby Tuesdays. What did you expect? Great food? No it's a chain. The recipes are developed in a lab. You can get a good meal but not a great meal. There are options for a low calorie meal also. BUT you can't get an alcoholic drink on Sunday in this county. Hope you really wanted ice tea!

I had very low expectations from a Ruby Tuesday but was pleasantly surprised. Nice waiter. I had the avocado turkey burger and it was very good.

Tue, Apr 23 - Have been to this location many times previous when I come to town for business; however, this was one of first major disappointments at this location! Even though I was sitting at the bar with two bartenders on duty, they did not remove any dirty dishes, glasses away during my entire time. Instead they seemed to have time to stop and talk and check messages on cell phones. Food was good and came out hot!

Service not good (slow), food was terrible (buffalo chicken had a fish taste, must have been cooked in same oil/cheese sticks minus marinara sauce, then when received looked like salsa/salad bar had not been refreshed in awhile). Avoid at all cost unless you have plenty of time and prefer bad food!

We stopped in here on a trip back from Charleston- it's right off the interstate on 601 in Orangeburg. The restaurant is fairly new and is well maintained- nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. We started in the bar- not too big and kinda cramped and chaotic for the staff- they do make a good Manhattan though- We have been in here on Sunday and forgot about the archaic blue laws- remember no alcohol on Sundays~ Ya gotta love the South! Here's what I ordered... They have a very nice salad bar with a good selection of fresh veggies Avocado Turkey Burger- Topped with fresh avocado, Swiss cheese, applewood smoked bacon, red onions, and pickles- served on a very good pretzel bun! This went good with a tall Blue Moon Belgian White Ale The food was good. However, the prices at Ruby Tuesdays seem a little high with portion size a little on the small size- makes me sound like a pig?? Oh well, I have a hard time paying 15 to 16 bucks for a small piece of fish I could make easily, and just as good, at home...That's why I went for the turkey burger - around ten bucks with a loaded potato. Maybe still a little high? My wife calls me cheap :) :)
